Some key features are missing in photoshop

I am very active on the UX side lately.
I have been using photshop since the very first days, and above all i am a adobe fan, you guys do amazing stuff.
However, some parts could be better in my oppinion, here is a list.
please look into these features, they will save hours, if not days on a year basis!
1.Make psd files with a "location".
- so that a certain psd file's save for web or other exports "know" where they are situated on the server or pc.
I often work on 5 projects simultaniously and each time i have to save/export i need to go back to the location -that particular file- is in.
(this isn't hard to code) but a mere UX improvement that will save countless of hours. It's a simple xml file (like you do with flash or lightroom) to store its data.
Hire me, and i'll code this.
2.smart save for web
This is an extention of the first pointer
When you group layers (in my oppinion) it would we great to be able to toggle the visibility of groups during the save for web dialogue is shown.
why? I do alot of mockups in photoshop and saving them for web is a totally different game. Its tedious and slow to save 5 different states/designs (and I made actions for it...still its slow)
So my suggestion is to make toggle boxes or a layer panel inside the save for web, so users can easely switch of groups of layers they don't want to show or visa versa.
Again this isn't hard to code- why? because the layer panel is allready inside of photoshop, all we need is a toggle button to "show or hide during the save for web"
- yes i could (and i do this) go back, toggle my groups and do save for web again: but lets be fair. when you do this with a 150+ layer document (even in 72dpi) its slow.
Bug fixes:
When you group layers and lock that group, you still are able to select them with auto select

What version of Bridge and Photoshop and what platform? Mac or Windows? I can point you to a downloadable installer.
If the cdrom was damaged, it may be the problem.
You would uninstall and use the CC/CS Cleaner to remove any remnants before reinstalling.

It is a Total Misconception that the Support files are installed when you are installing Windows, even if the USB drive that holds them is inserted in the system when doing the Windows install.
You must always Run the Setup.exe files from the support files or run the drivers individually once Windows has finished installing and booted to the desktop.
Also you really need to run the Boot Camp Control Panel Applet and check for updates as not all the newest drivers for full function of all the hardware is included with the original support download. That download is basically a generic version to get the system working and without doing the updates not everything will work properly.

Can't create a recovery drive: "Some required files are missing"

Hi guys,
Didn't have much luck in MS forums, maybe somebody here knows?
Whenever I try to create a recovery drive I find that "We can't create a recovery drive on this PC. Some required files are missing. To troubleshoot problems when your PC can't start, use your Windows installation disc or media."
Uh?
Is a fresh Windows 8 x64 (RTM) installation. Only thing that I can think of is it has UEFI and Secure Boot enabled.

What version of Windows 8 are you using? It appears you may need to the Window 8 disc to be able to create the recovery drive because it needs files that are not on your system. I found those part numbers for the Windows 8 recovery media for you.

04T7223 - Win 8 Pro 64 Bit US
Additional part numbers can be found here for all system parts and recovery media for you the Twist (s230u). If you contact service back they should be able to get the media sent to you. Good Luck.

Reinstalling iTunes simply replaces the application. It shouldn't affect your media. You do have backups, right?

I'd like to check for malware with that message, Nico. (With modern versions of iTunes, if files really were missing, iTunes would be much more likely to do a repair install of itself when you wen't to launch it, rather than returning the old-fashioned files-are-missing message.
Download and install the free version of MalwareBytes AntiMalware. Update your MBAM definitions and run a full scan of the PC. (Takes about 2 hours on My Lenovo.)

ITunes can not run because some required files are missing.

I got a message that said something like "iTunes can not run because some required files are missing. reinstall itunes." I tried to reinstall iTunes but I kept getting that message. So, i uninstalled it, and tried to install it again. this did not work. I think that Quicktime is actually what is broken, because iTunes installs fine, but the Quicktime installation failed. When the installation failed, i got a message that said, "Installation failed: error code: -3"
I then tried installing Quicktime with the standalone installer. The installation got further, but it then failed as well, giving the error code -1603.
What can I do to get this reinstalled, and if you can't answer that, how can I contact Apple from Iraq? Thank you.

hmmm...that happened to me at one point to, and I'm trying to think back, I believe I was able to uninstall it by using the standalone installer.....
Try these steps and see if anything helps, and then in the troubleshooting section, look up the specific error number you are receiving...

Some required files are missing - Windows XP SP3

Hi,
I've got a big problem with the itunes software (latest version) on my girlfriends notebook.
Everytime I want to start itunes I get the message "some required files are missing - please reinstall"
I've reinstalled the software nearly 6-8 times but it still doesn't work.
I've tried older Versions up to itunes 9 but the problem still exists.
Maybe the Communitie can help me.
We need to make an backup of her iphone because I think it will not loger work very well.

If you are still having issues after a reinstall, you may want to make sure that you are completely removing all the iTunes files before reinstalling. You may find the following article helpful:

Some library files are missing

Hi All,
i successfully installed 11.1.0.7.0 on one of my VM . o/s version is redhat linux 5.6 . when i checked in my oracle_home/bin directory ,some library files are missing (like probcocob32, 32bit libs oracle components) . so can anyone help me how to installed this particular compenents. i didnot use GUI. I Used silent installaion.

Does iTunes still play the tracks that haven't been consolidated or do they now have broken links? If the links are broken are the tracks still, in fact, in their original locations?

The problem with the screen may be that you had a dead pixel in your screen. If your under warranty you should try and exchange it. That is if it bothers you.
About the files not transferring. Have you searched for the song(s) in question through the "Songs" search or are you looking through the "Artists" search on your iPod? I ask because if you search through "Artists" for a song under a certain artist and the song isn't there then it may be that you have not filled out the songs info completely. If you search through Songs you should be able to find it if it doesn't have the album title listed on the song. Hope this helps.

I don't know if this will help someone but I am posting this for that purpose. In the past when I first had this problem, I'd read a post somewhere (sorry, long ago, don't have the link) where an individual was having the same problem and they stated that when the MBP got heated, that's when the keys would stop working, and they went into the MBP and jiggle some stuff around (a specific wire, I'm not electronically inclined so I know NOT of what they spake!). Well I didn't want to do that but it always stuck in the back of my mind. I had given up, really, and was planning to take my MBP to the apple store. But by chance one night I left my MBP on the floor where it's cool, and when I turned it on, the problem went - poof! It seems there was some validity to the post that spoke about heat, because my problems started when I would stream foreign dramas on my MBP for hours at night, and I would hear the fan going off all the time, and in the mornings, my "p", "enter", "0", ";", and all the function keys would stop working.
So, maybe try keeping the MBP in a cool place when it's off. Since I've started doing this overnight every night (keeping it on the cool floor, out of reach of any big feet), I have not had a single problem with my keyboard.

If you back up your files with TimeMachine, you can restore them very easily, though.

Make sure that you do not run Firefox in full screen mode (press F11 or Fn + F11 to toggle; Mac: command+Shift+F).
If you are in full screen mode then hover the mouse to the top to make the Navigation Toolbar and Tab bar appear.
You can click the Maximize button at the top right to leave full screen mode or right click empty space on a toolbar and use "Exit Full Screen Mode" or press F11.

secondly ,about editting interface, in office when loading fonts I find it's right：
in acrobat, they are partly missing, you can check and compare the two pictures:
thirdly , creating PDF from Word，may cause this issue:
this affect only Simplified Chinese text，and system's language is Simplified Chinese，too.
I can't find a solution so far.
