Some missing tv shows in the iCloud downloads

I purchased several episodes of TV shows in the last few years, but only some of them are coming up in my purchased itunes icloud list. I checked and itunes still sells these shows, so not sure, and I am almost positive I bought them under this apple ID, but not 100%

I am have the exact same issue. For example, in support of jmcilree's post above I am missing all of season 1 of Breaking Bad, all of season 2, 3. and 4 are fine. There are about 5 other shows randomly misisng a few episodes.
I contacted iTunes customer support 3 seperate times, explained in detail on 10 seperate emails with screen shots and order numbers. Each response was from a new customer support person with the exact same response: "We are going to reset the purchase for download, but this is the last time." Each time I respond with "That is not the problem...(then detailes of the problem)," and then it starts all over again.
I went the apple store and called apple tv support, both time with in seconds they understood and said "wow, that IS weird, I have no idea."
The purcahses are not hidden.
The missing purchases ARE availble on the iTunes store.
I have the files on my computer, and I spent hours looking up the order number.
I started trying to get support on this issue because I thought it was a wierd glitch and wanted to report it because I genuinly like apple products and services. At this point, I am now completely ****** and severly dissapointed at the level of customer service, because of the time I spent explaining the issue as though a child could easily see the problem.
To me it seems, they are not allowed to publically admit to glitches in there products and are instructed to give you the run around.
This issue is limited (to my knowledge) to only shows purchased before the introduction of the iCloud service, and is therefor just a glitch in porting in previously purchased items. New purchases have worked 100% of the time as intended.
At this point the solution seems to be, refund TV show purchase credits for the missing 24 episodes, and let me rebuy them. I tried to do this, but further proof the issue...all my purchases have been reset for download...therefore I can't rebuy the missing episode...yet they don't all show up in the purchased tab. I can't clear my download queue becasue there is littearlly over 2,000 tv shows waiting to download, and I can't fit them all on my drive...THUS the reason I really want this service to work.
If some apple employee reads this, I would love to speak to someone who will actually speak to me, anyone.

On a computer, any songs stored in iCloud will stream over the air when played, though you can download them at any time by clicking the iCloud download button. iOS devices will start playing tracks from iCloud as they download and will store them so that you can listen to them later even if you don’t have a network connection. I have loaded my entire iTunes library on my IMac to iCloud with iTunes Match. (successfully completed)
Now I want to download (not stream) the entire iTunes Match library (including iTunes non-purchased music) in the iCloud back to my IMac iTunes library (to benefit amongst other things to better bit rate recordings) but cannot find the "the iCloud download button" on iTunes on the iMac.
What have I not understood in this process ?
Can somebody tell me how to download the iCloud music to iTunes on an iMac ?

Winston the status shown in the URL you gave http://support.apple.com/kb/TS4124 show just anomalies. There are two other status: Matched and Uploaded shown.
So take a look at http://support.apple.com/kb/ht4915
This solves my problem:
1 First I needed to delete all Matched in my iTunes (select all, then Delete, BUT do not click the checkbox to also delete the item from iCloud.)
2 The Matched ones remain in the iTunes list, with an iCloud icon with a "down arrow" inside the iCloud icon, signifying "can be downloaded".
3 Then select "all" those Matched ones again and with cntrl click and chose Download from the drop down menu, and hey presto, iTunes starts to download and replace all the previously deleted Matched songs in your iTunes library with their clean 256kb version. The Matched status stays in place and the iCloud icon with the downarrow disappears one by one as each song is downloaded.
4. Itunes seems to be downloading 3 songs simultaneously and takes on average about 3-4 seconds a song on my iMAC

The side menu that had the iCloud "download all" button in it is gone and I can't get it back?

This is my first Mac. I have iTines 12. I signed in to iTunes and I was going to download each song that was in the cloud by individually clicking on it, but noticed in the side menu that there was an icloud button that could download all my stuff in the cloud at once. I went to click it and double click or something and the menu turned into it's own window. I didnt like it so I closed out both itunes iwndows, quit itunes and restarted it and the menu with the Icloud download all button has not returned. My brother swears I'm making it up, haha. Ive tried everything!

First of all, congratulations on your new Mac! Like most people, one of the first things you want to do is to get all of your music from your old computer into the new one.
The article below explains how to do that. My personal preference is the suggestion to back up your old iTunes library to an external drive first. This is preferable to downloading only your iTunes Store purchases from iTunes in the Cloud.

No. TV Shows are kept in the cloud which is a different thing all together from iCloud. iCloud is your own personal strage space for backups and other App data. "the cloud" in the case of Tv shows and movies is in Apple's own media servers. So you can't simply delete a show from there.
This however means that the show in the cloud is not taking up space in your iCloud storage. As Axeman points out: you can Hide it, but you'll need a computer to do so.

I agree. I don't rely on iCloud as a backup, that is what I have my portable hard drive for. Its 500 GB so I can hold my entire iTunes library several times over on it. I have all my movies on my hard drive, but somehow "The Mist" got deleted off of my hard drive, so I figured "Well, the option to redownload an already purchased movie is available through iCloud, I'll just do that!"
And permissions and download availability have nothing to do with it, the movie's still there, it still allows me to redownload it. The only problem is when I click download, I get that message.
And nobody else uses my computer, but I do have multiple accounts authorized on it. Even still though, I am attepmpting to download it through the account I purchased it under. :/

You don't download iCloud for iPhone. It is built-in.
You'll find it in Settings.

You have to have music in your iCloud account to do that...when you open the Music app on your iPad, for example, you can access all music from iCloud that you have already placed in the iCloud or associated with iCloud. That is not for downloading music you have not already purchased or downloaded.

No.
If the iPhone is running iOS 7, activation lock included with iOS 7 will prevent someone from restoring the iPhone or completing the process.
If the iPhone can be restored, it cannot be restored from the iPhone's backup - only as a new iPhone or not from the backup.

answer and I said that before I don’t use any antivirus and I always turn off my firewall from the moment I installed my Windows.
I even turn off any automatic update for any of my software and I never let any unknown plugins or any thing like that be install without informing me. And if you know some things like Offline Storage and cookies must be to much more than usual and you have to clear them and delete them and I know so much more

Songs are syncing to phone but some songs not showing in the playlist, you have to manually search for them...

All music is syncing across from my purchased items to my phone... However, some are missing from the 'purchased' playlist and I can only come across them when scrolling through the 'Artist' or 'Song' menu. I then have to manually add them back to my purchased playlist.
Is there any way to stop this?
I want all my 'purchased' songs in that playlist and then have all of my other music from CDs in their individual ones (which works fine).
This happens for about 5/6 every time and it's a nightmare trying to work out which ones are missing so to speak unless I stumble upon then.
So basically, the songs ARE on the phone but not showing in the playlist, just to make that clear.

This sounds very similar to an issue that I experienced. There was a phantom 6G assigned to movies even when no movies were on my iPad. I could make the phantom 6G come and go by checking/unchecking the "Sync Movies" box in iTunes.
First, try a system reset. It probably won't fix your problem but it's quick, easy and harmless...
Hold down the on/off switch and the Home button simultaneously until the screen blacks out or you see the Apple logo. Ignore the "Slide to power off" text if it appears. You will not lose any apps, data, music, movies, settings, etc.
If the Reset doesn't work, try a Restore. Note that it's nowhere near as quick as a Reset. From iTunes, select the iPad/iPod and then select the Summary tab. Follow directions for Restore and be sure to say "yes" to the backup. You will be warned that all data (apps, music, movies, etc.) will be erased but, as the Restore finishes, you will be asked if you wish the contents of the backup to be copied to the iPad/iPod. Again, say "yes."
There is one other thing that you can try but I don't want to describe it unless the above doesn't help.

You can't hide it AFAIK on AppleTV - do it via iTunes.
In iTunes elect the store home page, and choose Purchases in teh QuickLinks on the right.
Choose TV Shows and hover over the one to hide and there should be a small x to hide it.
If you need it back go into your actual account settings in iTunes and choose to unhide there.

If by 'Allfiles' you mean 'All My Files' then what you see is correct. The All My Files option under Favorites shows all the files in your user folder. All your documents, music, movies, pictures, everything. Under the View menu you have an 'Arrange By' selection that can arrange all your documents by what kind they are, by what Application owns them, or by name, date, etc.
Since this isn't what you want, unselect 'All My Files' and choose the folder you want to see. BTW, those items under Favorites are user adjustable. You can drag a folder into that blue area under Favorites to add it to the Favorites and you can remove one by holding the Command key and dragging it from favorites into the desktop. You'll see the icon change into a cloud and when you release the mouse it will disappear.

You can't merge the backups, you'll have to delete the backup of your old phone. If it says it's currently in use when you try, that will normally clear up on its own but may take 3-5 days to do so. Give it a few days and try deleting the old backup again.
In the meantime, you can create a manual backup of your new phone on your computer by connecting it to your computer, opening iTunes, clicking on the name of your phone in iTuens, going to the Summary tab of your iTunes sync settings and clicking Back Up Now. Also go to File>Devices>Transfer Purchases. Then you'll be safe until you can start backup up to iCloud again.
