Some modules and texts on my website are not displaying appropriately on Firefox.

Hello Firefox forum:
I have noticed a problem on my website every now and then when I open my website with Firefox. This problem is not evident all the time but 1 out of 3 times, whenever I open my website with Firefox, some of the text and other elements get abnormally super-sized or abnormally small. At first, I thought the problem would heal itself but for months now it has not gone away and it keeps haunting my website.
The interesting thing here is I have never once seen this problem with any other web browser apart from Firefox. All the other web browsers display contents of my website very well.
[REMEMBER THAT THE PROBLEM DOES NOT SHOW EVERY TIME YOU VISIT MY WEBSITE WITH FIREFOX. IN ORDER TO RECREATE THE PROBLEM, YOU WILL NEED TO KEEP REFRESHING KESSESPAGE.COM OVER AND OVER [ABOUT 5 - 6 TIMES] IN ORDER TO SEE A SAMPLE OF THE PROBLEM. A couple times I saw the wording "General stuff" and the associated price display in a large font. Didn't notice any other anomalies right away. I was using NoScript, so possibly some scripts would have led to other changes.

Chinese characters are not displayed in the Firefox bookmarks

Chinese characters are not displayed in the Firefox bookmarks. The name looks like e.g. "??????? ???? cn.nytimes.com"
Chinese character of the site name is displayed ok in the head of the browser window and there is no problem reading chinese web content. I use Firefox Portable 11 /English from portableapps.com in Windows XP.
I googled and got some tips:
1) Set your browser to recognise Chinese language internet sites.
Windows users: Under "Tools - Options" on your browser's menu-bar add Chinese to the languages list.
- I did this.
2) Set your browser's "Character Set" or "Encoding" to UTF-8 (sometimes also called Universal Alphabet or Unicode).
Encoding settings can be changed under the "View" option in your browser's menu-bar.
- It was already set to UTF-8.
3) Windows users: If Chinese text still does not display correctly, East Asian language support may need to be enabled.
- This has been done when I installed Windows.
I still don't get any Chinese fonts in the bookmark names. I can edit the bookmark name with chinese characters and then save the bookmark, it works fine. But why does not Firefox recognize the characters when saving bookmarks? Help is appreciated.

No I didn't change anything deep beneath the hood. My problem didn't apply to the URL, but to the name of the link or bookmark header or whatever you would like to call it. (When hitting Ctrl + D there is a Name field). I only got ???????? instead of chinese characters in the name. Also for e.g. www.cntv.cn ...but maybe all China is not in the whitelist either. ;-) But anyway, this was not the real problem for me.
Apparently I was wrong as after a reboot of the computer it worked. The solution seemed to be to add Chinese to the language list. I don't know why it was not enough to restart Firefox?
Now I only have problems to show chinese characters in the name field of my external link manager... But I guess it is not an issue for Mozilla.

Urls are not coming in as links in sent emails; certain websites are not displaying correctly

When I send an email with a url/link, it does not come in to the recipient as a link.
Went to a website (bjs.com), which was not displaying images and had no functionality.
These things worked in IE8 so it's a Firefox problem.

That is probably Hotspot Shield.
Do a malware check with some malware scanning programs on the Windows computer. 
Please scan with all programs because each program detects different malware. 
All these programs have free versions.
Make sure that you update each program to get the latest version of their databases before doing a scan.

The icons for the Personas Plus and Video Download Helper extensions are not displaying on a fresh install of Firefox 3.6.12

I had to do a complete uninstall and reinstall of my up-t0-date Firefox due to another problem (it would only open one window), but after reinstalling my extensions, their icons were not displaying.
I uninstalled and reinstalled again, but the Personas Plus fox will not display in the status bar, and the Video Download Helper icon will not display in the Navigation toolbar, and is not available in the Customize Toolbars menu.
These extensions worked fine before. What's wrong now?

You need to set options in those add-ons and/or use Customize Toolbars. Always look at instructions on each add-on's page at https://addons.mozilla.org/ ,
-search for and locate the add-on,
-open the page for that add-on,
-review the information there,
-then visit and bookmark the developer's home page shown on the add-on page; many add-on developers also have a forum for questions, so look for a link on the developer's home page.

I'm totally new here but I really really need help debugging

Can you attach some [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Screenshot screenshots] for comparison to show what you mean?
Use a compressed image type like PNG or JPG to save the screenshot and make sure that you do not exceed the maximum file size (1 MB).

Fonts on Websites are not displaying correctly

I am using FF 16.0.2 with all the default settings. When I go to certain websites, it displays with non-readable characters, almost like it isn't recognizing the page encoding. Sounds that you have a problem with a corrupted font. 
That can be a Helvetica or Arial font: "Helvetica Neue",Helvetica,sans-serif,Arial;
You can do a font test to see if you can identify corrupted font(s).

You can try different default fonts and temporarily disable website fonts to test the selected default font.

Websites are not displaying all graphics. Amazon does not show any buttons/links to place orders. My Yahoo home page is not complete. What do I do besides going back to IE?

Colors, icons, links, buttons for ordering on Amazon do not appear through Firefox, but do with IE. My Yahoo homepage is also missing a lot of graphics, pictures, etc. Text is all in blue rather than black

I'm just going to repeat the relevant sections from my previous post with the screenshots this time:
Below you'll see a snip of how my current folder structure appears. It's identical to yours, except there are no button files in the General Folder. Since you were kind enough to include a file name, I did a search on that specific one and it's nowhere to be found on my hard drive. Hmmm....
I've seen others remark on how... "challenging".... Adobe's instructions can be sometime. I'll admit to having the same feeling when I was trying to download and install all the content files and the 7-zip stuff. Is the answer somehow that I screwed up that? Note the 7-zip folder right above the Adobe folder. Here's a screen shot of that expanded folder contents:
Does that look like you think it should? Have I not installed or extracted something correctly?
Finally, the only other thing I can think of to give you as much info as you might need is to include a screenshot of where the "Functional Content" stuff got saved. Adobe's instructions about this (if I recall correctly) were that it did NOT have to be installed anywhere specific, but you then had to go into Encore (& Premiere) and through preferences point to this stuff, which I believe I did. But I don't see any button type files in these anyway.

Many websites are not displayed properly, overlapping words etc., can I adjust the browser settings?

Lots of sites do not appear properly, ie words and characters overlap, pop ups not complete.

Reset the page zoom on websites that look wrong: "View > Zoom > Reset" (Ctrl + 0 (zero))

If you increased the minimum font size then try a lower setting (default is none) as a too high value can cause issues like you described.

IE is showing the icons on codechef.com but on firefox a rectangular box is shown

No problem here, I can see the favicon in the corner of the Tab when that website is open.
Or are you talking about when you bookmark that page?
If so, does the favicon appear next to the bookmark after you use the new bookmark for the first time?

Coginator website are not displaying properly on Safari

We have recently redesigned a French Gastronomy website on Coginator platform. The website http://www.guysavoy.qa is working fine on all browsers such as Firefox, Chrome, IE but having issues with Apple Safari which is installed on Windows 7 operating system. Attached, is a snapshot of the problem I am facing with Apple Safari Browser. Any support for the resolution of this issue with be of great help.

Firefox will show the link if nothing is blocking it...
In case an ad blocker, script blocker, or another extension is involved, could you test the page in Firefox's Safe Mode? That's a standard diagnostic tool to deactivate extensions and some advanced features of Firefox. More info: [[Troubleshoot Firefox issues using Safe Mode]].
You can restart Firefox in Safe Mode using either:
* "3-bar" menu button > "?" button > Restart with Add-ons Disabled
* Help menu > Restart with Add-ons Disabled
Not all add-ons are disabled: Flash and other plugins still run
After Firefox shuts down, a small dialog should appear. Click "Start in Safe Mode" (''not'' Reset).
Any difference?
