Some N95 issues

I am a Singapore user, recently (about 1 month) bought an N95, the non-8GB version.
Then I read on some reviews about the new 8GB version, in comparison with the older 4GB version. I tried to look for built-in phone memory size, but can't find. I don't know of any way to find out how much built-in phone memory (excluding the mini-SD card) I have. And I did encountered browser reporting that "browser" or something "memory is full, can't download" or some such error message. So here's my Q1: How to find out free phone memory?
Q2: The phone OS included a "Asia Map" icon, which, upon running, shows a "NAVfone Pro" with map (demo, apparently) of Singapore and KL (Malaysia). It would seem that I can only select either, cannot switch to the other after the 1st selection. This particular software is elusive. Let me elaborate. If I connect the phone to USB and select "Mass Storage" instead of "PC Suite", the icon would disappear. Fortunately, it would re-appear after I disconnect the USB cable. Unfortunately, it would disappear if I do the following: Connect with "Mass Storage" option, run on PC the "Nokia Map Loader" software to download supposedly free maps. The "Asia Map" icon would disappear for good. It would re-appear only after I do an OS update (thus wiping all SMS and Contact data). I tried another option offered by the PC Nokia Map Loader software -- to downlaod the supposedly free map directly into the mini-SD card. Same thing happened, the "Asia Map" icon disappeared. Only to make it re-appear after re-installing the OS update (again wiping the Contact and SMS data). And when I checked with the "Maps" (the other, global map), the downloaded "free map" did not register as anything different. In other word, the "Map Loader" did nothing except destroying the "Asia Map" icon, removing the NAVfone Pro software. I sincerely hope someone at Nokia can shed a light on how these software supposed to work together. What constitute "free map", "navigation", etc....
Q3: NAVfone Pro proves to be a nice program, able to calculate new route whenever I made a wrong turn. The other Maps does NOT provide any navigation. I am supposed to pay some SD$7 for a week for voice navigation, but there is no indication that it would calculate a new route if I made a wrong turn. Should I spend that money to find out otherwise? The SD$7 would be for voice navigation for Singapore, KL, and Bangkok. It would be a poor guide if I am going to Muar or Malacca... or Ipoh, for that matter.
Q4: NAVfone Pro proves to be so nice that I am sorta relying on it to "wake me up" even on my daily routes. But I do notice that there is a strange glitch. Whenever I go eastward on the PIE (toward Changi Airport), when I go past the Paya Lebar Flyover, the navigation would announce "going off course, re-calculating", even when I did not deviate (hey I'm just driving straight on the highway). After the "re-calculation", it would show the exactly same route again. I would call it a glitch anyway. I wonder if Nokia is going to do an update to fix this strange bug...
Finally, I apologize if I am duplicating some other users' grouse about these same issues. And I realize that this N95 is primarily a mobile telephone. That the GPS navigation is less of a primary feature of the device, the OS is not dedicated for such a function, and of course one should not expect a pro GPS driving/navigation/guidance device. I would say aside from my last question, the issues has more to do with the OS.
Hopefully these get fixed in the next OS update...
Or at least someone at Nokia knowledge-base can show me ways around the problems... Thanks in advanced!!

can you make an nokia n 95X with 1 gb memori ... a quad core ... 1 gb video card. ... and a 12 mp camera with 120 optical zoom and a life batery about 2 yers ...... oh and maibi a scren projector .... almost forgot the memori : about 2 - 3 tb and instant gps )) and plz make the price only 9.99 $ )

I am having some serious issues with firefox to the point of choosing another search engine. I can't print anything because it is stuck on fax and won't let me change it to my printer when i do try to select my printer it jumps right back to fax. The drop down menus do not work on any of the sites I go to. For example when purchasing clothes and you have to choose a size from a drop down menu I can't do it when I click on the drop down menu it doesn't work at all. I don't have a virus I ran my virus protector and no viruses are present. I don't have any suspicious issues going on with my computer so there has to be something in Firefox that is causing my issues. I tried internet explorer and I don't have any issues there. I hope you can help me because I love Firefox and would really like to continue to use it.

Lots of issues there, main one getting fcpx going again, try deleting the preferences using the utility deveoped by these guys.

Hi, We are trying to get a client to communicate with the primary Config Manager Site System(MP/DP).
We have a Config Manager Client Template that was setup using this guide.

 Enhanced Key Usage value must contain
Client Authentication (1.3.6.1.5.5.7.3.2).
 Client computers must have a unique value in the Subject Name field or in the Subject Alternative Name field.
 SHA-1and SHA-2 hash algorithms are supported.
 Maximum supported key length is 2048 bits.
The Cert that we generated for the client meets the same requirements and shows the exact same template id but has a different subject name and alternate name (which is the clients machine name).
With this setup, we still get the following error

Both the site system and client have the same trusted root cert installed.
What are we missing or what can we check? Does the cert check process only need the client certs on both the site system and the client to be from the same template?

Some minor issues we are facing in converting the 6i application to 10g ,

Regarding 10g froms i need support in resolving following issues:-
1. Direct print to default printer
In some of our applications user do not want to see the print preview and prefer direct print in 6i we were doing this by defining Desitination in report paramenters
2. Open each form in new window
We open each new form using OPEN_FORM() builtin, but all forms open in same MDI window, how using open form we can open the forms in new window
3. Maintaining source code in windows and linux
Initaially our developers test the forms under windows 10g AS environment but when the same form in uploaded on Linux machine they need to make some changes like " replacing all \ with /, converting all paths to lower case etc
how we can write the same code for linux and windows
These are some minor issues we are facing in converting the 6i application to 10g environment ...

1) We don't do direct printing. We print everything to PDF files in a user's network mapped drive. They print or preview as required.
2) We overcame this problem by using Java WebStart

It frees Forms from being browser based and looks more like a 'real' application.
3) We use FormsAPI Master [Link to ORCL-Toolbox|http://www.orcl-toolbox.com/] to automatically convert from Windows to Unix. Our script converts uppercase to lowercase for icons, menus, library attachments, etc. We only do this once - unless new libraries have been attached in the wrong case. For things like '\' to '/' , Windows is quite happy to accept '/' as a delimiter. "cd C:\temp" is the same as "cd c:/temp". However, there are obvious differences between Windows and Unix. If there is any interaction between the Form and the operating system, then we do all our testing in the Unix environment - leaving Windows as a "does the screen layout look OK" environment.

Having Some Mail issues on Apple Mail 5.2

Hi All - Having some mail issues lately with my gmail account Imap set up.
I can receive mail but when trying to send mail it pops up with the follwoing:
"Can not send message using the server smtp.gmail.com"
I tried deleting the gmail account on my iMac and setting it up again. in the set up It gives me two choices as an outgoing server:
smtp.gmail.com and just Gmail. If I choose Gmail I can send the messages, but is this secure? I've always used smtp.gmail.com for outgoing without any problems.
Any help or guidance would be greatly appreciated.

"Red Dots" in connection doctor on the old smtp.gmail.com but it wouldn't work. The new outgoing server - labeled merely Gmail works and appears to be the same as smtp.gmail.com, but I've never seen this in the past - it's always been called smtp.gmail.com I wonder if Google changed the name?

Some confusing issues and their solution while working with InCopy stories.

Hi All, Last few months I have been working on InDesign/InCopy workFlow.I faced lot many problems and able to find solutions for some of them.I am putting down some of the problems I haved faced and the approaches I followed to get the solutions. So here I go... First I will put the issues I faced and then their common solution. Issue 1)A text frame exported as a InCopy file. InterfacePtr<IDataLinkReference> dataLinkReference(frameUIDRef, UseDefaultIID()); if(dataLinkReference == nil) break; UID linkUID = dataLinkReference->GetUID(); If(linkUID == kInvlaidID) Break; The linkUID is always equal to kInvalidUID. Issue 2)A graphics frame with image placed inside it and exported as an InCopy file. In this case the linkUID will have a valid UID. So the code ahead is UIDRef linkRef(frameUIDRef.GetDataBase(), linkUID); InterfacePtr<IDataLink> dataLink(linkRef, UseDefaultIID()); if(dataLink != nil) { PMString linkedFilePath = *(dataLink->GetFullName()); } so here the linkedFilePath will be the file path of the linked incopy file and not of that image file. Issue 3)A graphics frame with image placed inside it but without any associated InCopy file. The linkedFilePath is that of filePath of an image. The solution I found was.. The reason for this confusing behaviour is, InCopy frame has one more UIDRef associated with the InCopy story. So to get the incopy related UIDRef we have to use the following code. UIDRef incopyStoryUIDRef = Utils<IInCopyWorkFlowUtils>()->GetContainingInCopyStory(itemUIDRef); The problem with above api is in case of the graphic frame the itemUIDRef should be the UIDRef of the frame and in case of text frame the itemUIDRef should be the UIDRef of the text story i.e the text model. I cannot explain why your iMac worked ok. I too have seen situations where "lower cost" WiFi routers like Belkin and LInksys have "sort of" worked but had problems.
Back in 2004 after buying a fairly large house I purchased an off-brand WiFi gateway that featured high power output so I could mount it centrally in the house and be able to use WiFi everywhere. Even though this thing was rated well and had the high-power everyone said would help it gave me continuous problems.
One day a buddy gave me an Apple Airport (the one that looks like a apple power adapter). I plugged it in where I had the high power unit in place and suddenly I had amazing WiFi speed and coverage EVERYWHERE. I could not believe it! That day I ordered an Airport Extreme and it has been fantastic.
I then recommended this solution to a friend of mine that had an Apple MacBook and he had nothing but trouble and went back to his linksys. So it is a mixed bag.
Currently I have three WiFi devices: A TimeCapsule downstairs, an Airport Extreme upstairs and a LInkSys in a utility closet. The LinkSys is needed because my son's GF's Windows computer will not connect to anything else.

For the FlashContainerPlaceholder, the first child is now MyFlexContentHolder, which extends mx.flash.FlexContentHolder but meets the invariant that it has 1 child and that child is FlexContentHolderThumbnail, which I?\226?\128?\153ve added as a swc to the project. I changed this by accident last time to refer to mx.flash.FlexContentHolder, when it should've referred to a concrete instance created by Flash from a swc. I also added a chrome of 151x151 to match the FlexContentHolderThumbnail since otherwise the container itself would have no chrome at all, and this let?\226?\128?\153s it size correctly.
Also, for sizing, in a container, rather than sizing to the size of the chrome, I now size to the size of the FlexContentHolder thumbnail that all FlexContentHolder?\226?\128?\153s have. This means in ContainerMovieClip, I don?\226?\128?\153t need to override bounds anymore.
ContainerMovieClip now implements IVisualElementContainer.
Also, I fixed a resizing event bug in UIMovieClip where the resize event was getting dispatched more than once.

Your iBookG4 is still a pretty awesome Mac. Like already said, it has the power to run Leopard, but it depends if you have an internal DVD drive.
Then I suppose you have to add up the cost of the OS, perhaps another 512MB RAM, iLife 08 and replacements for any favourite apps that you currently use (Leopard breaks a lot of stuff, but Intel breaks even more). Compare it to the cost of a new MacBook, which wil have all of that included and be 3-4x faster too.
It also depends on what you want to achieve with your iBook. My PMG4 still cuts it today, I still use it in preference to my new Mac Pro, It's about the same age as your iBook, and I'll only stop using it when it becomes "painfully" slow. My 1 year old son currently uses the Mac Pro (parts for a Mac Pro are easier to replace than those for a PMG4).
I think your choice is simple, if you can a cheap copy of Tiger, use that, it'll get your iPod Touch up and running. It came in DVD and 4 CD version (by request).
Leopard will work for you too but a lot of the best eye-candy requires quite a meaty graphics card and you may need a RAM upgrade and replacement software - OS9 Classic is not supported in Leopard.

My iphone 4s has some serious issues. After clicking some youtube link, my photos, settings icon, app store icon and safari icon and many more apps have been deleted. My iphone is useless since last 4 weeks. I cant do anything without these missing apps. please help.

No. Not even sure what you mean by that. The phone is trying to access particular IP addresses on the internet, which don't exist on "my own network."

No again. The fact that your router works with other devices doesn't mean it's compatible with the iPhone. Did you even try restarting and updating the router as suggested?
