Some objects didn't come from dump file

Hi guys.. this is the first question here in this forum and I will appreciate your answers
when I made import dump file to my database via impdp command I found some objects
didn't come like triggers, some function and procedures, I don't know what is the reason?!could any body help me
by the way my Database: 10g and my Operation system: windows xp

Pl post exact 10g version, along with the complete impdp log file. Are the objects that are missing definitely in the dump file ? Can you post the export command used and the expdp log file ?

We extracting all *.jdo files from additional jars to a metadata dir and
also copying all *.jdo files from the current build.dir, because KODO
only supports a single Fileset for the Metadatafiles.

jdo.schematool.class.path: is the Path for the KODO Schematool
zeus.persistence.jdo.properties: ist the kodo.properties file

com.wuerth.phoenix.bcserver.base.versant.PCapacityStruct comes from a
jar which also contains a metadatafile.
We are wondering because if we exlicit give a different metadata file
via a fileset the Schematool should ignore the other Metadata files
inside the jar + build.dir !?

Problem in data import from dump file on NAS device

I am using oracle 10g on solaris 10. I have mounted NAS device on my solaris machine.
I have created a directory object dir on my NAS storage in which i have placed the dump file.
Now when i execute the following command to import data
impdp user/pass DIRECTORY=DIR DUMPFILE=MQA.DMP logfile=import.log
then i get the following error message
ORA-39002: invalid operation
ORA-39070: Unable to open the log file.
ORA-29283: invalid file operation
ORA-06512: at "SYS.UTL_FILE", line 475
ORA-29283: invalid file operation
Can any body help ?

Also, Datapump from NAS device would perform slow.

If you have original export dump file then you have to choice 1.using impdp through OEM. or using original imp utility.

I have a dump file made with exp command. It is a schema dump.
I would like to extract the ddl of the trigger. how can I do this?
I tried with imp + indexfile
but I the file created there are no triggers.

Why not use dbms_metadata.get_ddl('TRIGGER','<TRIGGER_NAME') to generate the ddl and create.

L'il Help Please! Text changes color half way up some characters in PDF created from PSD files

Hi there,
I have been asked to refresh the layout of an existing document that utilizes Zapfino font. The font is yellow with a black stroke at 50% opacity and also with a drop shadow. The group of text with the inconsistent color is immediately under a group of text w/ the same layer styles applied (which remains solid with the correct color).
When I save the PSD file as a PDF to send the client, the yellow switches to white in a clean break arbitrarily in some of the characters in the output PDF files. I've tried rebuilding the file twice to see if there was some error in the file but to no avail.
Any ideas on what I could try?

How about posting a screenshot?
Is the type one of the faux-styles (faux-bold, faux-italic etc.)?
if this doesnt help, maybe try rasterizing the text?
In general I would rather recommend »Convert to Shape« to at least maintain vector-output, but if a stroke is applied that’s probably useless anyway.

Credits do not require any extra step to purchase an item. Note, though, that the credits apply to the specified item only. For example, if you have a credit for a song, you can only use it to buy a song, not a TV show episode. The same applies to any other type of credit; it's valid only for the specific item type stated.

WiFi Calling.. Not if your phone didn't come from EE!

So WiFi calling has launched on the Galaxy S5 and S6 but they fail to tell you that you have to have EE branded firmware on your device to be able to enable this function. If you brought your phone from the likes of Phones4U and third party contract sellers the likely hood is that you won't have EE firmware it will be Stock Samsung Firmware. EE don't offer the ability to download their firmware or the ability to exchange handesets for like for like so basicly if EE launch a new feature that requires you to have their firmware... tough luck you ain't getting it.

The reason they limit Android and windows to EE firmware only is because this means they bought the device off them and that is what they want.
It is wrong yes I know.
I always zebras my devices Although for me it no longer matters as I am no longer an EE customer.

Cannot start ldap after drop ODS,ODSSM and impdp from last night dump file.

I have daily export (use expdp) for ODS and ODSSM schemas on new 11.1.1.5 OID environment. I am testing to use ldapadd to add entries (for Net Service only) from old version (10.1.5).
During the ldapadd test, there are some errors and I fix these errors on ldif file. I try to do a clean load. So, I stop the ldap, drop schema (ODS, ODSSM), use impdp to import these two schemas with a good dump file.
But I cannot start ldap again. I know the dump file contains some status for running ldap. How to clean the status after impdp completed?
The error message when I try to start ldap:

Error while importing dump file to Oracle server

Hi All,
I'm pretty new to Oracle and I need to do the following job:
- import data from dump file to Oracle server
- then export it into CSV format to load to our web system
Oracle dump file is called EXPDAT.DMP and it is placed in the default location, so no need to specify it. Here I'm trying to do the 1st step:
impdp SYSTEM/XXXXXX REMAP_SCHEMA=DATA01:SYSTEM
And then I'm getting the following errors:

Create the user DATA01 in your database, with sufficient quota on tablespace K_DATA. DO NOT import another schema's objects into SYSTEM. If you must REMAP_SCHEMA to something other than DATA01, create a user other than SYSTEM to receive it.

Query on oracle dump file

I have a question on Oracle Dump file . Is there a way to know how many objects got exported into the dump file during expdp . How do we know what are the objects which got exported and which dint get exported during a full export of a DB .

yeah i understand that log file will give me details of objects exported . log files gives me the list of tables exported , but objects index, procedures, packages , synonyms , views are all done in a group , it just says exported indexes , it will not show me which indexes got exported right ? ... SO i want to know about each and every object which got exported .

Error: requested transformation would make some objects too large

working in Illustrator CS2, and am getting the error "Can't move the objects - The requested transformation would make some objects too large." From reading another post (that I am unable to find to reply to) I gather this may have to do with some guides. I have unlocked all guides through View Menu. Interestingly, according to help I should have hte selection to "view" guides. I don't find it. My problem is, i can find the guides to either delete or convert to an object to see if this will alllow me to move the objects. it is a 1 layer artwork, with multiple groups (too many too count),and multiple paths under each group (again, too many too count). This artwrok is a map printed to .pdf from SMT Kingdom. Kingdom is not very powerful, and I often annotate and edit maps in Illustrator; I frequetnly get this error when I have a map with contours on it.
Any ideas?

Because of the nature of my map, I do tend to have "landgrid" and other type of data that "extend" way beyond my actual image. for example, print to 8.5 x 11, and i might have a river that is part of my landgrid, that extend beyond the page size. The software from which I am printing does not "clip" this river. I have many times attempted to select and delete all this extraneous stuff, to alleviate my problem with "make some object too large", but no luck. I can assure you I don't have an object WAY off the page...i have zoomed out to the moon.

I did not know the difference and saved movie files on my kodak digital camera as pal format - it was top of list - i need to capture some stills as single photos from those files. I have switched to NTSC format for future and will want to capture stills from movies in that format also

Even the free version of QT Player allows you to "copy" frames. These could be "pasted" into a new blank using any image editing software.
What ever frame is showing when you stop playback will be the one copied. More control by using the right left arrow keys.
The Pro upgrade can export a frame to many image formats. It doesn't matter that the format is PAL. NTSC and PAL are TV playback settings. Your computer doesn't care.

Load task from the file

Hi,
My problem is related to temp. control task from file. I have two heaters and LS336 temperature controller unit. I want a kind of temperature profile which should be loaded from the file. This will be very easy for me to control temperature and some other issues.
I added some 2 vi s. or one of them, arrray should be devided in to array. and the second one, I cannot read from the file correctly, why I couldn't get.

ok, I guess I know what you want to do, I still do not understand how your VI could achieve that, though.
If you have LV2011, I attached an example that writes a file with some temperatures and reads it from the file afterwards.
If not, here is a picture of the whole code, so you can rewrite it:
note, its not fancy or something, but functional already. You can make a better one for your application.
