Some of my music and all of my playlists gone!

I recently upgraded from a macbook to an iMac + macbook air. I did the whole macbook to macbook file shuffle, but somehow I did not get all the music from my old itunes into my new itunes. Additionally, none of my playlists came through.
I've resisted syncing my iphone for a month or two now because it will scrub all my playlists and I'll lose some of my favorite songs. (I have about 4.3GB of audio on my iphone now, but I have 12 gb on my computer, so sorting through all of my iphone songs to see which ones are NOT in my itunes is going to be obnoxious).
But, there is a new iPhone OS update I want to download, which means I need to fix this problem once and for all. Is there an apple or 3rd party program way to get, at a minimum, my playlists to download from my iphone to the new itunes before I update my iPhone Software? PLEASE?

Backup do not contaiuns music or apps, you will either need to resync them from your itunes computer, or you can go to purchase history in itunes or app store app and go to purchase history and redownload them.

Make sure you are dealing with the correct product for the serial number. If the serial number is for a full creative suite then you need to get the suite, not the individual application, and vice versa.
Unrelated to that, in case it helps, here is a link to another site. You can download the trial version of the software thru the page linked below and then use your current serial number to activate it.

It just does't sync. I connect it to itunes, but nothing happens. Where it says how much space I have, it's just on ebig bar that says other. I can play my music on itunes, but not when i unplug it.
All of my photos were gone, i took and saved them with my ipod.

I have it set on manually manage music and videos. So there is no automatic syncing going on or anything like that. Yes iTunes was open and when i plugged in my phone i could see all the music and everything on my phone, everything was working like it was supposed to, I didn't have a problem until I unplugged the phone.

Hi,
usually when you upgrade, it should not delete your files, but if it happens, than you should have a backup.
Unfortunately it is very common, that people don't know, what exactly is in the backup.
The question is, what files exactly you are missing? Own pictures, or taken with the device? Purchased music form the iTunes Store, or own? ....
Documents and files are mostly up to the developer of the app, if they are part of the backup, usually not and you need to transfer them before.
In the backup you will find just pictures from the Camera Rolle folder, everything else you should have on the PC, if you had it on the device.
Same then for music, you can transfer purchased music from the device, but your own works just one direction, from PC to device, from device to PC it doesn't work.
In future I recomand you to be sure how the backup works or use a 3rd party app (iExplorer) where you have a little bit more "freedome" than with iTunes.
Or you maybe just restored from the worng backup

I am going to reinstall my computer, but I want and copy my music and all the album art on a hard drive, so I wonder if it is possible to copy all your music and album art that is iTunes into a hard drive?

The formats YouTube supports can be found here:

Since YouTube supports AAC, the file format iTunes uses by default, it's probable you don't need any sort of converter.
If you continue to have problems with uploading to YouTube, I'd suggest you ask for assistance in their forums:

There was a hint of relabeling your videos to music video so you can use the itunes video playlists.

TS4036 Help: i deleted my iCloud account and now some of my contacts and previous calendar information is gone

I set up icloud account, then i got so confused i deleted it. Now my phone(iPhone 4S) is missing some of my contacts and all of my previous calendar events prior to the deletion. I used Outlook 2007 for contact and calendar...which i do not like either. Anyone with any help on how to get back my info would be greatly appreciated.

it asked if i wanted to merge i chose yes, now do i press back up now? Also, I do no think I would like to use the iCloud, how would i go about not using it, but keeping the info on my phone. Now, before i set up i cloud i did a backup under my device in tunes. can i just restore it and have everything back? Or can I just sync with my itunes backup and have everything back?
