Some of my music has gone - how do I get it back?

I have just opened iTunes and all my music in the Classical genre have gone!
Why has this happened and how can I get my music back?

Welcome to the Apple Support Communities!
I understand that some songs are missing from your iTunes library. If the music was purchased from iTunes you can get this music back to your iTunes Library two different ways. You can either transfer purchases from your iOS device to the iTunes Library (if you have an iOS device), or you can just download the music again from the Purchased section of iTunes. I will post the information on both ways to recover your purchased music below.

Just try resyncing it from your iTunes library.
If it was not in your iTunes library when you did the update it is gone.

I have just turned on my computer, then itunes.
What I found was nothing. I store all my files on an external hard drive and wasn't connected when I first loaded it up.
I have tried loading up itunes with the hard drive and even my playlists and videos have gone.
How can I reload all the tracks without manually putting all my music, videos, photos and podcasts?

Visit the store, log in and download again, what you can get. Apps are no problem, even videos.
Regarding music, this is not since ever that you can download music again. So if there are older purchases, like from 5 years ago, you can't simply download them again from the store.
In this case, contact iTunes support saying you lost all music purchases from before a certain date and kindly asking if they would make that available for download for you and most probably they will. The store keeps your purchase history, so they can verify.
After all or at least most of the stuff is ack on HDD again - make a backup! And later, regularly make backups again. Remember it.

Re sync it from iTunes. If you did the update on a computer, you probably didn't wait long enough for the process to finish. I don't think I like the fact that the phone no longer gives an indication on screen when it's syncing, but that's the way it is. Updating on a computer, it will restore, then re-sync apps and music after the fact. If you're not looking at the status bar in iTunes on the computer, it's easy to think it's completely finished when it isn't.

All my music is gone, how do I get it back?

I just purchased a new macbook pro after my PC crashed over a year ago. I have purchased over 1000 songs between the PC and my iphone and none of it is there! I know the purchases from my iphone won't show until I transfer them over. Our old PC has been long gone so there's no way to transfer them. HELP!! thats a lot of music to loose!!

You can't the old built-in app back, it's been removed from iOS 6. You can either try one of the YouTube apps from the app store or try accessing it via Safari (you can create a homescreen shortcut for the site)

Have you tried the redeem option?
Simply click the Redeem link that can be found on the right hand side of theiTunes Store home page in iTunes on your computer, tap the redeem button at the bottom of the featured tab.

The voicemail system used for the iPhone is different from the voicemail system used on the rest of the Verizon Wireless network. Aren't those the default games that come with the iPod Classic? If so, they won't be in your iTunes library, but only on your iPod Classic itself as they are built in the iPod's software.
