Some of my thread doesn't show in "Forum Search" engine

Dear all,
I try to locate some of my threads in Apex Listener section, where I have at least 3 of them there, but strangely the search engine doesn't return for such query. Other threads that reside in other section do it without any problem. Any advice?

Yes unfortunately it is the only way. Oracle is unable to provide search functionality as it is only a database company, so it is recommended that if you need to search for information you should use Google instead.

It was Love Actually. It's been in my library a few years but is now missing. It's odd...it isn't even in the iTunes Store anymore. I think there is a rights issue because a message appeared in the store saying it wasn't available at this time in the U. S. store. Still, if I bought it years ago it should be in my library or I should get a refund....

Possibly because dropbox is not really a proper webhost - it might be better if you went and signed up for proper web hosting from somewhere like http://www.godaddy.com or http://www.hostexcellence.com.
Have you told Google that you site exists? If not, then you need to do so - http://www.google.com/addurl.

Updated my iPhone 4 to iOS 5 and SOME of my music doesn't show up.

So I updated my phone when iOS 5 came out and I've dealt with the problem since then but I've grown tired of it. When I updated it, all my music stayed on my phone but some of the music didn't show up. I looked a little further into it and the two albums in question ONLY show up in the Music list, not in the Artist>Albums>Songs, Ablums>Songs, Genres>Artist>Albums>Songs, or anywhere else. If I want to listen to any of these songs, I have to find the songs in the Music list or search my phone for them. Here is the catch, I can play them and look at them just fine in my phone's library when my phone is connnected to iTunes. I've tried to alter the album titles, the artist names, the anything to get them to show up, but alas I can not figure out what is wrong with them. Getting to this part, another album will not, it simply will not, change its atist name. It seems like it will always and forver be titled as 'The Red Hot Chili Peppers', it does not change to Red Hot Chili Peppers. In my phone's library on iTunes though it shows up as Red Hot Chili Peppers.
For all three of these albums, I have tried to delete the entire album from the phone and put them back on and the same problem happens.
All the solutions that I have found so far are simply dealing with the whole library being deleted after updating and that is not whats happening here.
I guess this bothers me so much because I am very anal about how things should show up in my music and how I want to look at things.
tl;dr: New iOS5 on iPhone 4, three albums are giving me grief. Tried everything to get them to show up right, nothings works. Help.

I am having a really wierd issue as well that is probally related. I dont see 95% of the album artwork associated with my music. Also, it seems as if this has gotten worse since I started using that match feature

Just got an iPod Touch and some of the artwork doesn't show up on my iPod. It seems that a lot of them are from the iTunes store. What should I do?

Your post doesn't make much sense really. Where did you get the songs from?
If you purchased them from the iTunes Store, then the artwork should have come with the song when you downloaded it.
But since you have not specifically stated that you have purchased from the Store, my question is have you downloaded songs from a different store or from yet another source? If so, did that source undertake to provide artwork?
Have you imported these songs from your own CDs?
MP3 files from other sources, such as (legally obtained) downloads from artist websites etc. do not always have artwork imbedded in them.
Amazon MP3 songs do have the artwork embedded. I assume other MP3 stores also provide the artwork. But then, assumptions are not always correct.
Songs that you import from your CDs do not have the artwork embedded in the CD version. The artwork is obtained for you by iTunes - if you have the setting turned on (see in iTunes, Edit/Preferences/General>>When you import a CD>>automatically download missing artwork) In this situation, if artwork is not supplied, it may be because iTunes doesn't have (legal) access to that artwork. In other words, they don't sell the album, so are unable to supply the artwork. In that case, a simple Google of the album should find the artwork which you can then copy into the album in iTunes.
As a last resort, I use my printer's in-built scanner to scan my CD cover and then paste that into the album's artwork box.
If I haven't answered your question, it's because you haven't supplied enough information.

Some flash web content doesn't show up on certain computers

I've just put up a portfolio website- catmerrick.com- and a
lot of people are telling me that loaded video and slide shows
aren't showing up on their computers. It works fine on mine- any
thoughts as to why this might be, and what problems I should be

It may be that people who fail to see your content also fail
to have
Flash Player 9 (or any version of Flash Player) installed.
Using something
like Geoff Stearns' SWFObject, you can very easily display
default
content -- such as text or an image -- to let people know
they need to
install the plugin. Meanwhile, people have *have* the plugin
(and a high
enough version) will automatically see your Flash content.

My "What's New" procedure doesn't show the result Search result page

Now you can call this from a dynamic page component (have it displayed as portlet), or include it as an URL item in the content area (/pls/portal30/portal30.whatsnew?p_caid=33&p_folder_id=1&p_days=7).
This work fine and show the search result. Now I've customized the Search Result Page, but it seems that wwsbr_search_api is navigating to a standard (fixed layout) search result screen (square item/folder links in stead of tabs) and not to my customized Search Result Page. If I click the submit button in the result screen then it navigates to my customized Search Result Page.
So why doesn't wwsbr_search_api navigate to the customized Search Result Page, or am I doing something wrong ?

Find all doesn't show all in search results

when I run find all on a string of text I need to change the
search results list displays six documents. The status bar however
indicates
"Done. 6 items found in 731 documents."
Why don't I see 731 entries in the search results? How do I
know if DW will update all 731 items if I do a global search and
replace?

The above means it search 731 documents.
It found the string in only 6 of them.
so there are only six listings in the Results panel.

URL, email links in Flash swf files shows up in search engine

Hi, can you please help? I post this problem a while ago.
My problem is: I developed a website in Flash 8 on the Mac.
The Flash swf file is displayed via Dreamweaver doc. When I do a
search and, when the site is found in Google, all the links used in
the Flash swf file appears in the snippets below the main title. I
would like to know where I'm going wrong, and how can I prevent
Google from displaying the URL and email details.
Do I need to use a preloaded, or do I need to put the Flash
swf movie file in a table in Dreamwever.

Lightroom 3.3 doesn't show all images of a folder

I have used Lightroom since version 1.0 and at the moment I am using v3.3.
Now I have following problem and I can't find a solution for it:
In the Navigator I have synchronized my complete folder where I store all of my photos. This folder contains more than 50000 photos already in many subfolders. But now I found some subfolders not showing all their content. I can see in the Navigator e.g. 216 pictures beside the folder name but in the preview I can see only 3 pictures! And I found some more folders which doesn't show their full content.
I tried to sychronize the single folder again but Lightroom says there were no new pictures and also no missing pictures to remove from the folder. If I open the folder by the Windows Explorer then I can see that all the files for the 216 pictures are there! So there must be a problem with the lightroom database!
But now I don't know what to do to get the pictures displayed in the library again.
I would appreciate any idea regarding this problem.

Ok, when the uploads are finished then you will have my current database, a screenshot of Lightroom which show no pictures in the library (and the preview) of a folder (all filters off, tried to synchronize already,) but it shows clearly that there are 31 pictures in the folder normally.
I also uploaded some of the pictures of this folder.
In past I could see the pictures in Lightroom - I can remember that.

Finder Doesn't Show External Firewire, But Pathfinder Does

Hey Folks,
Am hoping someone might be able to help me with this. I've been using Pathfinder for a while, but have wanted to switch back to the normal Finder of late. My only hitch is that, for some reason, the Finder doesn't show an external firewire drive I've got running, while Pathfinder does.
The drive is available -- when I go into terminal, the drive is listed. Again, it's just not showing up in the drive list in the Finder.
Any thoughts? I tried dumping my Finder prefs, but that didn't seem to work.

Finder->Preferences->General->cycle HDs to show on Desktop. If not, launch Disk Utility->select the FWHD and unmount it. Turn its power off, disconnect the FW cable, and shutdown the machine for five or so minutes. Restart the machine, reinstall the FW cable, and power it up.

Why Mail doesn't show content of emails?

Since some days Apple Mail doesn't show always the content of an e-mail message. In the window at the right hand of the columns with folders and incoming mail and in the fullscreen mode only the headers (To, From, Subject) are visible, not the content (text, images, attachments). If there is an attachment, I can see that by clicking 'show in Quicklook'.
The problem started a couple of days ago. And sometimes Mail shows the content after receiving an e-mail, immediately after a first view no more.
Rebuilding the mailbox doesn't change this.

Quit Mail. Force quit if necessary.
Back up all data. That means you know you can restore the Mail database, no matter what happens.
Triple-click the text on the line below to select it:
~/Library/Mail/V2/MailData/Envelope Index
Copy the selected text to the Clipboard (command-C). In the Finder, select
Go ▹ Go to Folder
from the menu bar. Paste into the box that opens (command-V), then press return.
A Finder window will open with a file selected. Move the selected file to the Desktop, leaving the window open. Other files in the folder may have names that begin with "Envelope Index". Move those files, if any, to the Trash.
Log out and log back in. Relaunch Mail. It should prompt you to re-import your messages. You may get a warning that the index is corrupt and that Mail has to quit. Click OK.
Test. If Mail now works as expected, you can delete the file you moved to the Desktop. Otherwise, post your results.

Adobe Reader doesn't show letters with lengthening marks

Just made a fresh W8.1 and Adobe Reader XI install, now I have some .pdf files that doesn't show these symbols - ē, ī, ū, ģ, ķ, ņ etc. However, in some files it shows them corectly. Where might be the problem here?

Do these PDFs have the appropriate fonts embedded? If not, maybe you need to install the extended font pack http://www.adobe.com/support/downloads/detail.jsp?ftpID=5508

My IPhone doesn't show up in my Itunes on my computer.

I have an IPhone 5, which I bought back in December of 2012. I've never had an issue with syncing my Iphone to my Itunes until today, and for some reason it just doesn't show up in my Itunes side bar. If anyone could help, that'd be great.

I just purchased some ILFORD paper and I downloaded and installed the ICC profile into Windows Vista without any problems. My question is when I open my printer properties and select a paper profile my ILFORD ICC profile is not showing. I have a Canon Pro9000 printer.

Sigh, in general I'm finding it faster and more reliable to use Google to search not only Adobe forums, but the knowledge base and the rest of the Adobe site as well.

Of course, at the time I was searching, I didn't know which keywords were in the subject and which were in the body.

And this suprises who? Never had much luck with the Adobe search, either in old or new forum.
