  • All my songs, app's, videos and pictures are gone in iTunes Help?

Now I am unable to sync any songs, all my other songs are in my iPod touch and I am using a windows 7 computer. I have tried authorizing and deauthorizing my iTunes there's still no chance of hope. I am very worried about this please I require your help.

Last week I did not have this problem, but today I am having it again. Nothing has changed except that I updated the feed last night/early this morning. Is there any explanation why my episodes keep disappearing en masse from iTunes?

  • All my apps and music are gone after i updated to 5.0.1

i did back up my ipodtouch before i updated it. all my musics and apps are gone and only thing it backed up is my pics, contacts, and some other stuff. is there anyway i can get my apps and musics back?

You said you did a backup...
    iCloud backup or iTunes backup?
Also, two suggestions for next time:
Software updates can be done right from your device, under Settings > General > Software Update if you have iOS 5 or later. This usually prevents a lot of problems users typically run in to when updating in iTunes.
When updating in iTunes, even though your restore may seem complete, it is still restoring your apps, music, etc. Please be sure that it is absolutely complete before unplugging.

  • Yup all my apps and music are gone now

Well just like everyone else ios 5 jacked up my phone. I was going to look and check other peoples post so I didnt post the same issue someone else had but this site is running so slow! no doubt because so many people are having issues. I updated itunes first then i updated. However it couldnt back up my phone. But it said I could continue to update so I did. It updated me to 5 but it also returned my iphone 4 to factory settings Luckily I had backed up the night before so I tried to restore from back up. It took soooo long! and when my phone restarted and had me configure icloud settings. But when I looked through my stuff I had my contacts, e mail, pictures, and texts. But all my apps and music are missing! So I tried to restore again thinking ok I set up my icloud stuff so maybe now all my stuff will be back. And nope 30-40 mins later still the same!!!! *** I guess I can consider myself lucky since others dont even have their contacts. But man im ****** I had stuff to do today and instead I wasted my time with this update! And I still dont have my apps and music. How could apple have failed so bad?

Yep, same here. Literally, this happens EVERYTIME I update my iphone. Thousands of songs and tons of apps - all gone. I believe I've tried everything to get it all back, but no success.
Think it's time I chuck my iPhone out the window and boycott Apple.

  • For some reason my itunes and safari are gone any way to get the back, iphone4

For some reason my i tunes app and safari are gone on my iphone4, is there anyway to get them back? thanks

Impossible for any of the included apps to be deleted from the iPhone, which includes the iTunes app and Safari.
    Settings > General > Restrictions.
If Restrictions is enabled, is Safari and iTunes turned on as a restriction? If so, turn these off.

  • I sync my iPad. Now everything is messed up playlists and music are gone. Weird stuff showed up. And now I can't find the option to delete or make new playlists. 6.1.2 is my newest version!! NEED HELP!!

So I don't sync my iPad very often. My dad and I share a computer. And I decided to do it the other day. I am pretty sure I did it all correctly selecting music that I wanted not deleting playlists but it seems to be that they are gone. And music I didn't want has appeared. And now I don't have an option (with this new iOS 6.1.2) to make new playlists or edit music I don't want out.
I know I need help figuring those two things out 1 how to make a play list. There isn't a "add" button anymore in that screen I have a "you have no playlist"with a button underneath that says "go to iTunes Store" why I would need the store for that, I do not know.
Then in the songs, artists, albums sections where you used to be able to hit "edit" button to delete the music you have that you don't want. I don't seem to be able to do anything at all to get rid of the random music I have.
I need help. I know my iPad fairly well but I am not super savvy with it either.

Is there a "New" button at the top right of the Playlists section of Music?
There is no Edit button to delete music, swipe sideways on the song to reveal the delete button. Tap and hold on the artwork in Artists and albums to reveal the (X) button to delete. Or connect the iPad back up to iTunes on the computer and check your sync settings for music to ensure you are syncing the right content.

  • Backed-up iPhone onto computer, got new iphone, restored from backup, apps and music are gone!?

I have read that this is a common question, but I just don't understand and need it explained to me in a simple manner.. I'm not very "tech savvy".  Why would music and apps NOT be included in a back up?? Where are they now? Apple replaced my iPhone so I don't even have to old one for reference.  I can re-download my apps at no extra cost, but it seems like in order to re-download my music, I would have to pay for it again! What to do???

Apps and music do not need to be saved in the backup, they are already in iTunes. iTunes contains your music library and your apps. Apps can be transferred to the iTunes library as necessary, but music should be housed there. If it is all music that you downloaded from iTunes, then you can put it there the same was as you do apps, but transferring purchases.

  • How do I retrieve my music library after a complete computer crash.  I have a backup on a flash drive and I can access my Itunes account but my play lists and music are gone.

How do you retrieve downloaded music and playlists after a complete computer crash.  I can log into my Itunes account and make purchases but my music library is gone.  I have an external backup on a flash drive but for some reason the music does not show up there either. It's like I have a brand new account and have to start all over.  Itunes must have an archive I can access to get my music back, right?

Playlists should be part of your backup copy.

  • My applications and music are gone

    Hi!
I have a question about iphone.
Because I travel very often, I have to switch regions on my iphone (including appstore and itunes).
Last time I was in London I downloaded a bunch of apps worth about 200 pounds. After the iOS5 was released (and after I renewed the firmware), all of my apps were gone. When I try to download them again, the ones that were purchased in the UK are not available for download for free (I am in the USA now).
I mean the ones that I purchased in the US appstore are available for download for free, but the ones that were purchased in the UK appstore request payment again.
How do I download the apps again for free (because I already paid for them)?

when you updated to ios5 did you sucsessfully restore all of your apps from the back up you made before the update? if not there is your problem and hence all of your apps vanished. to resolve this simply plug your phone into itune, hit 'restore' wait for it to do it's thing then it will say (in iTunes) 'back up from previous iphone back up?' you click yes
Hope that helps but please make sure you do not back up your phone before restoring as you will be backing up a 'blank' phone and also try and think back to when u last backed it up, if you have done recently with no apps, i don't belive there is any solving this. I maybe wrong but i have solved this problem amongst friends.
*Having said all this, you can simply go into 'purchased' on your phone (in the app store) press the download from cloud button and they should just download, if I'm not, stumped sorry*
    Hope I've helped.

  • Restoring video and music from iTouch back to iTunes computer

Hoping that somebody can help. I need to be able to restore some of the video and music files from my iTouch back to the iTunes library on my PC.
After some recent HD problems some of the music and video files on my PC got currupted. And before you ask, yes I do do backups. Problem is the copies of the files in the backup are the same as those corrupted ones.. The only valid copies of these files are on my iTouch.
I assume that I can't just simply synch the iTouch as that will simply remove the valid versions.
    Any suggestions?
    Thanks.

Found the program CopyTrans...does all I need and more (use google to find it). It costs $20, but well worth it. I wouldn't have mentioned it here, if it werent't for the fact that iTunes doesn't allow you to copy media files from your ipod back to your computer.

  • Video and music data not showing up in iOS7

Under "General"/ "Usage" Video and Music are now at the bottom of the list and say "No Data".  This goes for both my iphone and ipad mini both running current iOS7.0.2.  I have videos on both and wanted to delete without synching.  Is this

    Anyone?
    per HT3814:
    Remembering audio CDs you burn
iTunes also "remembers" every audio CD you burn. However, the CD and track names are not burned onto the CD itself. If you insert the burned audio CD into another computer, or even log in as another user, the CD will be titled "Audio CD", and will have generic track names. Since the track length and the overall CD length is the same as the store-bought album, iTunes finds the information for the store-bought album when it looks the CD up online.
So why does this no longer work on my iMac?
It DID work for a playlist from multiple ripped CD's a year or so ago--has this changed in the newer iterations of iTunes?

  • IPad deletes Videos and Music

The day before yesterday I put about 40Gb of videos and 5Gb of music on my IPad just before starting to vacation.
Today I downloaded a single podcast from the App Store and after that I see that all (!!) of my videos and music are deleted by itself!! Only the one podcast ist left. And furthermore, I see at "Info" that only 4Gb of memory is free on the IPad ... So where are my movies?? As I can't connect to my Mac at home, is there any other way to restore them?
    Thanks in advance!

    Bassoonist-
One thing to try that shouldn't hurt anything, is to reboot the iPad's CPU.  Hold both the Home and Sleep buttons for several seconds until the Apple logo appears.  Ignore the "Slide to power off" arrow.  After the iPad restarts, see if your videos and music can be accessed.

You're dealing with two different plug-ins.
    Flash Player (Mac HD/Library/Internet Plug-ins/Flash Player.plugin)
    and "PepperFlash" (Applications/Google Chrome.app/Contents/Versions/34.0.1847.116/Google Chrome Framework.framework/Internet Plug-Ins/PepperFlash/PepperFlashPlayer.plugin)
And NetFlix uses the Microsoft SilverLight plug-in.
    From SoundCloud support:
Why can't I hear tracks using Safari?
If you can't hear tracks on SoundCloud using Safari, please go to Safari ---> Preferences ---> Advanced ---> and un-check "Stop plugins to save power." Like this:
If YouTube works, it may be doing so in HTML5 mode which requires no plug-in. Do you use Apple's Firewall or (please say you don't) anti-virus?

If you still have the crashed Win computer, you may be able to recover your music and movies from the hard drive. If you have a friend with a hard drive USB connection kit and a PC, they should be able to help.  Otherwise, check locally for computer services that might do that for you (I think Best Buy Geek Squad may be able to help). If the drive itself is in good shape, it shouldn't be too expensive.
