Some of the apps in my creative cloud are saying try instead of install. Why?
Some of my apps say try instead of install. How can i fix this?

There are different possible reason for this.
Since you had changed the plan from Photography plan to CC full subscription.the status might not have updated or there may be Activation server connectivity issue .
1)First thing to do is Sign out from Creative Cloud and Sign in.
2)Check Hosts , and let me know if you can see any Adobe entries like 127.0.01 activate.adobe.com...etc ???
3)Corrupt opm.db database file
4)Corrupt license files , Firewall ,,,etc
Follow first 2 steps and check ,.
Still face same issue ,let me know

so i bought the 9.99 a month photoshop (with lightroom) and then installed CC when i went to the app tab both PS and LR said "try" instead of install is that how setup usually goes? or well it ask me later for serial numbers?

Yeah I finally had to call Adobe and some there did a screen share with me and they took care of it. I am running OSX 10.9.3 my issue was that the latex OSX update didn't communicate with the app. Like I said Adobe did a screen share with me and fixed it for me I think he just uninstalled and reinstalled and I want to say thats what took care of it.

I cannot install the trial version of Adobe Muse as it just keeps showing the thinking icon in the Apps section of Creative Cloud. I am using OS X Yosemite 10.10.1 system on a Mac Pro

I'm seeing two "Lightroom 5″ under the apps tab in creative cloud.
I’m seeing two “Lightroom 5″ under the apps tab in creative cloud. Both having the same name unlike Photoshop CC and Photoshop CC (2014). The only difference being that one has an “Update” box next to it while the other has “Up to date”. So is one of this the CC 2014 version of Lightroom or something’s screwed up on my side? I'm on the photography plan.

I checked you account on my side and it looks fine. I can see you have Creative Cloud for Individuals subscription.
It seems that you computer is not properly communicating with Adobe servers.
Please refer the article: http://helpx.adobe.com/x-productkb/policy-pricing/activation-network-issues.html and try to reset the host file if in case of any Adobe entries.
Please do let me know the status if it worked or not.

My CC desktop app now says "Try" instead of "Install"?
This may be total paranoia on my part, but suddenly on my Windows 8 CC desktop app, everything says "try" instead of "install" but I can't find anywhere that the CC memberships (or more importantly my full membership) had changed. Is this just a different labeling or has something big changed with CC and I'm apparently totally clueless?

Cant Find After effects App On The app list in Creative Cloud
I Cant find the after effects app on creative cloud when i go to app list.

Make sure Creative Cloud subscription assigned to your email address, you may log in to below link and check
Adobe ID
If the subscription is assigened.
Open Creative Cloud App
Click Gear icon on the top right corner and click on Preferences
Then click on accounts and sign out
Then sign in back. Make sure to use the email address which you have used to subscribe -

I also tried to reinstall the program, but the same error appears and says to contact the customer service, how do I fix this?
If all this still doesn't work: check the security setting in the C:Program Files (x86)/Common Files/Adobe folder. When you've installed CC while you were signed in on your microsoft account instead of your local administrator account on your PC Adobe creates the default software folder without full control. What helps:
uninstall CC
Restart your computer
Run the Adobe Cleaner (http://helpx.adobe.com/creative-suite/kb/cs5-cleaner-tool-installation-problems.html)
Rename the users/myname/appdata/local/Adobe/AAMUpdate folder to AAMUpdat.old (it's a hidden folder)
Rename the users/myname/appdata/local/Adobe/ OOBE folder to OOBE.old
Navigate to C:Program files(X86)/Common files/Adobe folder and rightclick to the security settings. Assign full control rights to the user of the PC
Reinstall CC Desktop -

Why "try" instead of "install" on some apps
How come after this latest update of the Creative Cloud Desktop app some apps that are not installed yet on my system are saying "Try" instead of "Install". I know that Indesign and Audition (and I thought all the rest) are included in my full CC membership, so how come some of them say Try while others say Install?
