Some of the music I had on CDs is no longer available in my itunes. It says that it is located on the "icloud", but I have no idea how to get it back so I can listen to it!
All of a sudden about 35% of my music has a grayish download button beside it. When I go to redownload it, it won't let me do anything. Then, when I check the location, it states it's in the icloud.
How do I get all my music back into my itunes - other than redownloading all the CDS. It's all music that I have purchased, so I'm not sure how it even got put into icloud, and can't be found in my itunes file. WHen I go to see if it's gone of the drive, it's still in there, and I can play it through the media player, but it won't show up on itunes.
What can I do? Thanks for any help. Paula

I cannot see my Iphone 4 in my device window in the finder anymore. It use to appear so I could copy the camera pictures off of it and transfer them to other folders. Does anyone have and idea how to get it back when you plug it in initially. Thanks
You will want to open iPhoto, go to the iPhoto menu and select Preferences. Under the General tab, next to Connecting camera opens: select iPhoto. Close the preferences and quit iPhoto. Reconnect your iPhone 4. iPhoto should open automatically and offer to import your pictures. Import them and then do what you want with them.

my computer broke down and i needed to install everything new. now all my music is only on my ipod classic. does anyone have an idea how to get the music back on the computer without deleting it on the ipod?

i loaded my phone on my old mac book and have since replaced that book with a new a new one. I have new music that wont sync up with my phone. Anyone have any ideas?

I have no idea what I did, one minute I was browsing that particular menu, the next it was gone. I can still access the sidebar version and my bookmarks toolbar is still there, but the actual menu is gone. Closing and restarting Firefox hasn't worked, neither has restarting my computer. I would really appreciate any advice.

Basically, I updated my iPod and everything had been deleted and I can't get my photos back. Before i updated it I backed my iPod and still nothing has worked. Can someone please help me as some of the photos were very important to me

If you "had to" create a new user id, then you need to move your data so that that new user can access it.

Ever since iCloud went live, I cannot add any spouse, child etc... info to the address book. Anyone have an idea how to get this back. I tried to reset the template, looks like it has been removed. I also de-selected the iCloud and selected on my local Mac in the accounts area in preferences. Still no luck. My address book entries prior to iCloud still have all the data and I'm able to modifiy if desired. Any ideas??
I copied this from an extremely knowledgable iTunes for Windows user in another discussion. Maybe this will help.
In Windows, you can restore much of the look & feel of iTunes 10.7 with these shortcuts:
ALT to temporarily display the menu bar
CTRL+B to show or hide the menu bar
CTRL+S to show or hide the sidebar
CTRL+/ to show or hide the status bar (won't hide for me on Win XP)
Click the magnifying glass top right and untick Search Entire Library to restore the old search behaviour
Use View > Hide <Media Kind> in the cloud or Edit (iTunes) > Preferences > Store anduntick Show iTunes in the cloud purchases to hide the cloud items. The second method eliminates the cloud status column (and may let iTunes start up more quickly)
If you don't like having different coloured background & text in the Album (Grid) view use Edit(iTunes) > Preferences > General and untick Use custom colours for open albums, movies, etc.
With iTunes 11.0.3 you can enable artwork in the Songs and playlist views from View > Show View Options (CTRL+J) making it more like the old Album List view.
If you are a Mac user, all you have to do is start navigating through the menu items at the top of the screen to find just about everything that is mentioned here. -
A while ago i went to sync music onto my Ipod Touch. Respond please!Depending upon what country that you are in (music can't be re-downloaded in all countries) then see if you can redownload your past music purchases (those that are still in the store) via the Purchased link under Quick Links on the right-hand side of the iTunes store home page on your computer's iTunes : re-downloading.
If you are not in a country where music can currently be re-downloaded, then have you not got it on your computer and/or on a backup ? i have deleted all contacts in icloud but still have them on my iphone (which is backed up as well to iTunes) how can i restore the iphone data to the iCloud so it will resend it to my mac book and iPad? I have switched my iphone to airplane mode so it is not connected to the internet and so icloud can not wipe it at the moment.
thanks royThere's a menu choice (I think under "Files") that lets you sync purchased items on a device back to itunes. Look for that.
iCloud does not store music. If you want to do that you'd have to subscribe to itunes Match, but to get music to the match servers, you need the music in the itunes library on your computer. -

I have lost my "Basic" panel in the Develop module and can't figure out how to get it back. My right panel goes from the Histogram straight to the Tone Curve panel. My Basic panel should be below the Histogram. Any ideas how to get it back. I have even uninstalled my lightroom and reinstalled it with same issue. Help!!!
Right click on or near one of the other headers and a pop-up will appear and you will be able to select the Basic Panel for viewing.
