Some Photos in Library are not showing on iPhoto

I imported some photos from another Mac to my MacBook Air and organized them in several events. All went well until I had a large number of photos (and some videos) which took a long time to transfer and iPhoto was not responding for over an hour. I forced quit the iPhoto and now when I go back, I see the events that I had created but they are empty (photos are not showing). When I tried to re-import the photos, it says the photos are duplicate which I assume it means photos exist in the photo library. My question is how do I get the photos existing in the library to be visible on iPhoto. Thanks.

Back up your iPhoto library, Depress and hold the option (alt) and command keys and launch iPhoto - from the resulting first aid window repair permissions and if necessary rebuild your database

Update your video drivers. If that doesn’t fix it, calibrate your monitor, or set your display profile to sRGB if you don’t have a calibration tool. If neither of those fix it, then rename your LR preview folder to something else and let LR rebuild all your previews.

Changes made in iphoto library are not showing up in aperture

I currently have Aperture referencing my photos off of my iphoto library. I have made changes (consolidated a couple of events) and imported more photos from my camera and both are not showing up in Aperture.
The new photos I imported were placed into an existing event (in both iphoto and aperture).
How do I get aperture to recognize the changes I made in organizing my library?

Aperture won't know that you've made changes to your iPhoto library, and therefore won't redraw the thumbnail or update the main image. The way iPhoto works that if you make a change, it'll create another JPG and store it within the iPhoto Library folder or package (depending on which version you're on). If Aperture is still referencing the original image (quite likely), its not going to know iPhoto has created another one, and even more so, where that file is. You can do it the other way around and up date the to, for example, have images in your Aperture library, referenced to your iPhoto library. If you change the image in Aperture, it will update in iPhoto using the JPEG previews. The only thing that might not change is the iPhoto thumbnail, but the image itself will bring through the changes from Aperture as technically, its the same file is looking at.

How to I set up PSE12 to be the external editor for Aperture - aperture is exporting the photos but they are not showing up in PSE

I want to use PSE12 as external editor for apetture . the photos are exportd but do not show up in PSE. Must be some adjustment I can't find?

Where are you trying to access them? Make sure you are going to the Computers icon. Also make sure to check under Movies and Home Movies.
Make sure they are all compatible.

Some of the images are not showing up on my Blogger blog even though the HTML is there. They do show up in Opera.

Three days ago I went to a post from last year and an image was gone. The code was there but not the image.
It doesn't get rid of all the images just certain ones and they are consistently gone. It is not a random deletion of images.
I have had images not show up on other blogger sites.

It is possible that you clicked "Block Images" in the right click context menu while trying to save an image.
Check the image exceptions: Tools > Options > Content: Load Images: Exceptions

*A way to see which images are blocked is to click the favicon (Site Identification icon) on the left side of the location bar.
*A click on the "More Information" button will open the Security tab of the "Page Info" window (also accessible via "Tools > Page Info").
*Open the Media tab of the "Page Info" window.
*Select the first image and scroll down though the list with the Down arrow key.
*If an image in the list is grayed and there is a check-mark in the box "Block Images from..." then remove that mark to unblock the images from that domain.

Apps in Library are not showing in Apps tab

I have had a few rounds of restoring my 3G and then fresh start with a 3GS phone. It's been going along well, I've been able to sync most all of my apps back onto my new phone, but there was one I wanted that I know I purchased when it was free. I see it in my apps library, but it does not show up in my apps tab to sync to my phone. I am leery to repurchase because I now see that it costs $2.99 to download and I don't want to buy, just use the old app I had.
How does one get an app from the apps library into my apps tab for my phone? It was purchased on the same itunes account. Any help is appreciated!

Providing it is the same app, you can download it again without being charged. It does not matter what price you paid (even if the app was free) - even if the app is no longer free this will be a free download.
To ensure it is the same app, go to (on your computer):
iTunes Store > Account > Purchase History
It's also possible that the app does not appear under the Apps tab if that app is not compatible with your iOS version.

They are in my contacts on my computer but all but five of them are missing from my Android including my daughter. Help! You can't see them in what 'music file' ? If you mean your computer's iTunes library then have you copied all of it from your old computer : iTunes: How to move your music to a new computer, or copied it from your backup of your library ?

"photos" in Library Inspector not showing most images

I have about 21,000 images.
They show up fine in a smart album set to "show all".
They show up fine in smart albums set to various other criteria.
They also show up correctly in the projects.
I was working on re-key-wording some images and have a difficulty I haven't had before.
The problem is that when I select "photos" in the Library inspector, only about 900 images show up. The filter is set to show all. If I set the filter to other criteria, only a subset of the 900 shows up.
I have repaired permissions, repaired the database, and reset the user preferences.
Searching the forum with various keywords, I didn't find any relevant posts.

I had a similar problem with a new library which I created by Relocating Masters. I tried to clear the filter for the Photos folder using Frank's technique but nothing appeared. I then set a filter using Frank's basic technique and pictures meeting the filter parameters appeared. The moral...keep experimenting.

Some of my cuts are not showing whenI scrub/preview

I have al my clips loaded into the timeline, they are all from the same shoot, same file format, etc. However some wont show when I make them visable to scrub through them, just shows black, also when I make cuts and move them up to my working area they dont show. Im not sure what the issue is. When I select view frame, it shows all the frams of the clips but I am unable to view them when I play the sequesnce. I am running 5.5.
