Some Problems in Using Region Containers

Hi,
I have some problems in using region container which looks like bugs to me :
1- I added 2 Item Regions to one group in app def and dragged some items into them.Then, I decided to have a region container and arrange these 2 item regions horizontally. I added a Region Container and drag the 2 Item Regions into it. in this case, all the fields in these Item Regions disappeared and I did not have control over them.
2- If I first create a Region Container and then put a region item in it and then drag some attributes into region item everything will be fine but if I change my mind and decide not to have region container and drag region item from region container into regions, again all fields in the region item will disappear.
3- I created a region container and added 2 region items to it and dragged some items into them. I set the layout style to horizontal and set the width of region container to 100% but I realized that regardless of width value I set, the page arrangement was always the same. I investigate the jspx file and found out that the width of region container was not set. I added width="$JHS.current.regionContainer.width" to "<afh:tableLayout" section in horizontalRegionContainer.vm and it then worked fine. I believe that this part is forgotten to be in the vm file.

regarding 1 and 2: This only happens when you add items to an item group and start to drag and drop the item region BEFORE you click the Apply button. If you click the Apply
button before you move item groups around, it works fine.
3: yes, this is a bug, we will add fix in next release. Thanks for reporting.

Still facing some problem while using JEXCELAPI ..

hi all,
i am trying to insert the data from a JSP file to excel. i am using JEXCELAPI but still it gives an class not found error. i install this api via ant in WINDOWS NT.
plz try to solve my problem ..

i configure the :
ANT_HOME
JAVA_HOME
J2EE_HOME path and classpath both.
and already i install the jexcelapi via ant tool and it it gives the success message also.
but when i import the jxl.* package - it gives an error that class WritableWorkbook not found.
might be some problem in classpath setting plz suggest some hints.

sir,i had bought blackberry z10 in the last december.in the 1st month it worked like anything,but after the update it had many issues like battery draining,mobile reboots or turnoff itself automatically.even after many updates after that those issues have never been solved..i had reinstalled with several different os,which is useless.i have been using 10.2.1.2941 now.please help me soon...!!!

Essaye ceci, enleve la batterie, attend au moins 1 minute, et remet la batterie en place et essaye de le redemarrer

Still have problems with my blackberry Z10

A few days ago a posted a problem i had with my Z10 but never got a solution.
Everytime i am connected to wifi and i leave the coverage area i lose connection to the internet, BBM & facebook in fact all my data services despite the fact that my service plan includes these data services and i have never experienced this on my previous bold phone.
I have to reboot the phone each time and it works fine, until i reach my wifi coverage area, then when i leave again i lose data services again & have to reboot, Very frustrating. Has anyone else experienced this. It is definately the Z10 Phone.
PLEASE HELP.

Instead of rebooting try this:
Go to System Settings. Mobile Network. Turn Mobile Network off and then on again to re-set it.
In the meantime, while in the Mobile Network menu, make sure Network Selection is set to Automatic.
Try this and see if the network data will re-set without needed to re-boot the phone.
If the problem still persists you should contact your mobile service provider. You may have to contact Blackberry support to find the answer. I have strong doubts it will be a hardware fault.

Urgent: Some Problem on using Oracle Developer and Oracle 8i

I have download the Oracle Developer from this website.
I follow the instruction and install the Oracle Developer.
After I finished install the Developer, a error message shows:
"user1.pin(20):OS_ERROR whilw spawing if srv60-install Forms60Server -OraHome81d2 port:900mode:Socket batch:yes."
When I login in the SQL Plus 8i using User name: sys
A error message shows "ORA:122-03: Unable to connect to destination"
I can't use the Scheme Builder also and when I open the Net8 Assistant, I can't close the program in a normal way:
Click X on the corner/ Click File->Exit.
Would you help me to solve this problem? Thanks!

The problem that u are unable to login into sql prompt is may be that, you havent install the database or if u have installed it u havent started it.
If u are using windows nt,2000,xp then u can start it from services which is under administrative tools or if u are using 95 or 98 then u have to start the database from the program menu.
The problem that developer net8 assistant doesnt exit is a reality and i also face this problem, I think it is a bug of oracle, and if i started it, i have to endtask it.

As soon as my handset gets restarted it gets factory reset.. this problem is after new Update of OS.

Problem faced Using Swig with Java

Hi,
I have been using SWIG-1.3.29 to Wrap C into Java.I hava interface file ie "example.i" and java File
"main.java". Now i set the path
     JAVA_INCLUE
     C:\Program Files\Java\jdk1.5.0_01\include;
     JAVA_BIN
     C:\Program Files\Java\jdk1.5.0_01\bin;
and set java.library.path=.;D:\........\example.i;%path%;
     1.Now In Command Prompt
          Swig -java -example.i
     2. Swig makes "example.java", "example_wrap.c","exampleJNI.java".
     3.Compile the java file
     4.After Compilation i try to run the java program ,the following exception is occuring.
          java.lang.UnsatisfiedLinkError: no example in java.library.path
          at java.lang.ClassLoader.loadLibrary(ClassLoader.java:1682)
          at java.lang.Runtime.loadLibrary0(Runtime.java:822)
          at java.lang.System.loadLibrary(System.java:992)
          at main.main(main.java:10)
If i hava missed any steps please tell me.

Blackberry Z10 OS Upgrade + BBM Status Problems

First of all I am having problems updating my Blackberry Z10 OS Software as I have version 10.0.9.348 and from what i have read in the forum that it is the Carriers who is responsible to release the upgrade but i have already spoken to them and they are NOT AWARE OF ANYTHING! what can i do ???
Second problems is with the Blackberry Messenger as my contacst are changing their Status and personal messages but i am not getting the updates and it's not Changing !
I have tried to format my device 3 times so far tried to do the upgrade from Blackberry link but I am facing the same issue that my device is up to date! ..
Please let me know how can i resolve this issue! as i am getting really upset !

Who is your carrier?
There is nothing you can do except wait until your carrier has it released, or swap a SIM card temporarily to a SIM which has released the upgrade.
You can't force the upgrade with the Link software.

My Blackberry Z10 restarting itself & also having Network Problems

I have been using Blackberry Z10 for +/- 16 months now and I was happy with it from the beginning but as time goes on, it's frustrating me a lot as a result I sometimes question myself if I ever made the best decision for choosing "Blackberry" than other Cellphone Manufactures like Samsung or iPhone.
My Handset is running the latest OS Version: 10.2.1.3247 and I always update or upgrade it as soon as there's new release hoping that it will improve but that doesn't seem to help either. To add more salt on the wound, it keeps having Network problems during the night and weekends and I would much appreciate it if this problem could be resolved ASAP.

OK, I was having a very similar problem, and I had never done a security wipe since owning the phone. So, doing a security wipe cleared the issue up for me 99%. Once in a great while I will still get a restart. But it's very, very infrequent.
I know it can be a pain doing a security wipe, because it basically resets your phone (without effecting the OS) as if new -- but that means removing all your contacts, messages etc. So, be sure to back it up if you try it.
Also, be sure your battery isn't loose in the housing. I also has this issue (and it caused random restarts) so cut a tiny piece of a business card and shimmed the battery on the side opposite the contacts. Shimming the battery would be a simple fix, if it worked. So, maybe you'd want to try that first.

BlackBerry z10 device memory problem

I have a problem with my BlackBerry z10 device memory. Over time the so called "other data" keep growing, eating up the internal memory even though i didn't install new apps. So now i have less than 1 gb free storage and keep getting message that i should move some files to the external memory. The "other data" is now at 14.8 gb. BlackBerry 10 os don't let us see the content of this data but i know that all of the apps i installed take less than 4 gb. I wanna find the solution before i factory reset my z10. I don't like to have to install all those apps again.

MaxMem was a tool that could "free up space" in OS's 4.2 to 6.0. It hasn't been updated since sometime in 2008. There is no BB10 version.

Blackberry Z10 (SLT100-2) won't startup, no blinking red light and isn't recognized by PC

I have been using blackberry z10 which i bought from UK 1.5 years ago which was working fine so far. now, all of a sudden, my handphone's battery drained within 30 min, than started giving 4 short red flashing light within short interval. one of my friend using same model, bought from malaysia, he told me to unplug the battery and connect the device to directly wall charger. After i did that, flashing lights are gone and giving once red light each and every time i connect wall charger with my handphone. now i interchange the baterry wid charged one. it showing no lights even if i push the starting button. I already updated the latest os and using sideloader application named(mobile 1 market).
i now live in malaysia and also i got no receipt for showing this handphone to any BB care centre.
I already watched all the post and tried doing this steps..

Hi and Welcome to the Community!
Please try this sequence...note that, throughout the entire 4h15m process, your BB must remain directly connected to a known-good wall charger (not PC USB, not a cradle):
With the battery inside, connect your BB to the wall charger
Leave it alone for 2 hours, no matter what the LED or the display does
Remove the battery
Wait 15 minutes
Insert the battery
Wait another 2 hours, no matter what the LED or the display does
This has been known to "kick start" some BBs. If it fails, then redo it but increase the wait time in step 4 to 2 hours, and perhaps 4-5 hours.
It is also possible that your battery or BB has experienced a problem...to test, this sequence is needed:
Obtain an known good and already fully charged additional battery...use it in your BB and see what happens
Obtain access to a known good and identical BB...use your battery in it and see what happens
The results of this will indicate if it's your BB or your battery that has the problem. Note carefully please that "new" and "know good" are not necessarily the same things. While rare, a "new" battery certainly could be defective. Rather, the simplest (and least costly, btw) method to conduct this test is to find someone with an identical BB who has no issues...trade batteries and see what happens.

Blackberry Z10 bugs in Picture sharing.

Hi, I am using Blackberry Z10 for last three months. Recently I tried sharing some 5 picture that was taken by camera one after other via Gmail that was added in 'Hub'. But I was getting only first Shared photo continuously in periodic interval say trice a day continuosly. If I send any mail that hangs in outbox and never sent. I waited for three days. No use. All mails were in outbox only. Then I removed my gmial account from Hub and readded it. Now it is working fine. Like this I am finding lot of problems among different blackberry applications. I was happy with my Blackberry for very few days. Now I am very much disappointed with the phone and bugs I see. Also My phone performance also very poor. So what should I do? Will Blackberry care about my problems?
