Some problems from upgrading Win7 from Vista

Hello!
My Equium A100-338 OS was upgraded from Windows Vista to Windows 7.
Since this that the Toshiba Movie Factory and the Ulead MovieWriter disappeard and now it also doesn't recognise SD cards. I checked the toshiba website and I couldn't find the answer....
I just have the recovery CD for windows vista and I have no idea what to do to get the software (?!) back nor how to solve the SD card issue.
I am just a user and don't understand the ins and outs of computers...
Is anyone out there that may be of assistance?

I agree with Akuma. There must be some compatibility problem and if these applications dont work anymore it is the price you must pay for Win7 upgrade. Such additional Toshiba applications are not downloadable so what you can do is to use Windows Movie maker or some other application.
What you can also do is to buy newest Ulead Movie Maker/Writer designed for Win7.
I have checked Toshiba download page and there is no driver for SD card reader. That means, either you can try to use Vista driver or Win7 update will find driver alone.
Check please both options.

the % sign is often used when there's a space in a name. HTML doesn't like spaces so it fills them with % or %20
try, on the end of that link, see if there's a space built into the page or the link when the page was made
On the web address you may be able to 'backspace' at the end and erase that space to get the address, but whomever made the page possibly put a mistake in the link

BPEL problem after upgrading Jdeveloper from 10.1.3.1.0 to 10.1.3.3.0

The problem concerns upgrading JDev from 10.1.3.1.0 to 10.1.3.3.0. At the moment I’ve got both versions installed side by side, and when I fire up version 10.1.3.1.0 everything is fine. However when I try and rebuild any of the existing BPEL’s in 10.1.3.3.0, I’m getting errors such as this:
Error:
[Error ORABPEL-10903]: failed to read wsdl
[Description]: in "bpel.xml", Failed to read wsdl.
Error happened when reading wsdl at "http://trips-services:8888/trips-services/TaxpayerAccountingService?WSDL", because "Failed to read WSDL from http://trips-services:8888/trips-services/TaxpayerAccountingService?WSDL: HTTP connection error code is 407".
Make sure wsdl exists at that URL and is valid.
[Potential fix]: If your site has a proxy server, then you may need to configure your BPEL Server, designer and browser with your proxy server configuration settings (see tech note on http://otn.oracle.com/bpel for instructions).
If I put the URL http://trips-services:8888/trips-services/TaxpayerAccountingService?WSDL into my browser, it retrieves the file correctly; my settings in Tools -> Settings -> Web Browser and Proxy are identical in both versions.
The same or similar errors occur in just about every BPEL I have looked at.
Does anybody have an idea what the problem might be here?

I'm havind the same problems in a 10.1.3.3 environment where I'm not able to deploy a bpel process with an external webservice because of http 407-error.

The mis-mapping problem when upgrading OWB from 11.1 to 11.2.0.2.

Our OWB ETL program was developed initially on OWB 11.1 platform.
Then after upgrading it from 11.1 to 11.2.0.2, several mappings are mismatched in the deployment PL/SQL package as below:

We have released all OWB patches on 11.2.0.2, but the results are the same.

Besides the mega patch 10185523, we also have applied other tens of patches, e.g. 10225308, 11671955, 11705023, 1768535, etc.
Now we find that the wrong field mapping just appears in the row-based part of the mapping package. So if the set-based mode works well for the mapping execution, no error will happen. That's why we just found the problems in several mappings.
And one thing is even worse. In the patched OWB 11.2.0.2 env., we tried creating totally new mapping. The result is the same: the wrong field mapping still appears in the row-based part of the mapping package.
So this problem seems not related to the upgrading.

       I dont know how to correct it.
P2: in program ZFUMSV00, the source code is   sy-repid    = 'RFUMSV00'.
     In 700 version, it checks error: the field sy-repid cant be changed.
     But, in 46c version, it is OK.
        I dont know how to correct it.

While doing Upgrade You have to aware of all related program like BDC's , Screens related errors and all dictionary related problems.
Some function modules may become obsolete, and some screens will change
and some new fields will be added in the new versions etc.
Also take care of SPAU and SPDD tcodes.
You should be able to know about Unicode concept in sap.

ı can not use my touch screen after upgrading 4.3.3. I restored, but I can not solve problem.
I can not open coming calls, or I can not dila number etc......
I think there is some problem with that.

I have the same problem. You need to goto the apple store and exchange your phone. 4.3.3 is a very bad firmware and breaks many i-devices. Unfortunately, the thieves at apple do NOT let you downgrade to an older OS (you have to break 128-bit RSA encryption to do it) so that they can make money when you pay for technical support to fix your phone. The only solution for this problem is to exchange the phone. Sorry
(you can of course try a clean restore and set it up new, but this did not work on my iTouch - I tried 20+ times to fix it).

Problems after upgrading LMS from 4.1 to 4.2.3

After the upgrade of the LMS we have the situation that all our deviced are visible in the subnet groups but not in "all devices".
When I want to launch an inventory collection the following message is displayed:
"ICSU0025: Problem with JRM. The JRM server may not be running. Check ICServerUI.log for more details. See the user guide Administration of CiscoWorks LMS for the log file location."
When I do a Discovery, the deviced are being discovered but they are unreachable.
And all the host names are changed into their IP addresses.
I can't seem to find the problem. Even after roaming the forum here.
I'm not able to pinpoint the exact cause of the problems...
Any ideas?

That is a healthy normal state for ANIServer. I checked some similar cases and it seems most of them were transient and got resolved once daemon was reatarted.
I would suggest to follow this procedure once additionally :
> Stop Daemon manager
> Regenerate SSL certificate
> Do a transaction log for RME DB
> Start the daemon

Problems after upgrading catalog from LR4 to LR5

After upgrading a LR 4 catalog to LR5, I moved some files around between sub folders. I then went to sync up the parent folder. The dialog box said that I would be importing 12,000 photos and deleting 12,000 missing photos. My folder structure for a ctalog is a parent folder named for the year and the sub folders with the date and shoot description. I was synchronizing the parent (year) folder. When it finished, the folder structure was correct and the photos were in their new(correct) folders. However, all of my LR4 adjustments that had been made in LR4 were gone. There was no history either. It was like I was importing for the first time.
I upgraded the original catalog again and the photos were in the original locations just like the first time I upgraded. I tried to sync an individual folder and it imported 50 new files and deleted 50 missing files. Again the LR adjustments were gone. Any suggestions on how to sync an upgraded catalog without losing my prior version adjustments?

Yes, synchronizing is not the tool you should be using in this case, when you move photos from one folder to another. The proper method is to reconnect your photos in Lightroom after you moved them via: http://www.computer-darkroom.com/lr2_find_folder/find-folder.htm. But your current catalog has lost its edit information, so this will not help on your current catalog. So ...
I hope you have a backup of the catalog file before you did the synchronization, or otherwise you will have to upgrade your LR4 catalog again. Open one of those and then reconnect as in the link.
As side advice, perhaps you might want to consider using an organizing technique that does NOT require moving phtoos/folders from here to there. You might want to consider using organizing and searching via keywords and captions and other metadata, which does not require moving photos, and does not require re-linking photos, and gives you the ability to place photos in more than one "category" (keyword), rather than with folders where a photo can be in at most one "category" (folder)

I'm having some problem with Text imported from Motion into FCPro

Hey Everyone.
I've got an animation that I created in Motion.
The format for the timeline in Motion is NTSC DV 4:3
Final Cut has the same attributes to the sequence.
I have text on my graphic.... Some of it looks great. Some of it does not.

The word "Show" looks terrible, where as the other text looks great.
I do have a filter on the word show... actually it's not even a filter it's just one of the style parameters which is Outline and Face. The outline attribute has a bit of a blur on it.
Still i would think this would copy over into final cut without and issue but for some reason it looks really bad.
Anyone have any ideas on this?

Your problem stems from the bright red on a dark background. It is particularly noticable on text because it is a uniform color.
You might have other elements in your movies that use this exact shade and it wiil happen there, but it is less noticable because that element consists of multiple tones and is probably moving.
Very saturated, bright reds always cause problems in video. It is a limitation of the medium.
If you want to learn more about this facinating subject, the keywords are *Chroma Rise Time*.
The solution: desaturate and/or lighten the red, change the color completely or live with it.
Once I render. I get the pixelation.
Your Motion clip is being rendered to your NTSC DV Sequence setting which is 1:5 compression.
The problem with the red is only made worse due to this.

Document Problems when upgrading B1 from 2004 to 2005

When upgrading from B1 2004 to b1 2005 any documents over 2 pages cause B1 to crash - anyone found the same problem or a solution.

When you say it crashes, does it just close and no error. i've came across that problem when making complex documents. If you have made your document as an A4 document, check what the default printer is? Go to file->page setup .You'll see the printer it will print with and it's page size (letter,A4,etc). Make sure that is the same as the one you have set in the pld in the document.

That may be the Bookmark menu? You can enable the menu bar in Firefox by:
# Clicking "3bar" menu
# Click +Customize
# Show/hide toolbars and select Menu
Hovering over the Bookmarks button on the toolbar no longer opens automatically, but it does open when I click.

Unable to Sign in analytics After Upgraded obiee from 10g to 11g

I have problem when upgrading catalog from 10g to 11g.
The error is:" Unable to Sign In . An invalid User Name or Password was entered. "
I upgraded following the steps like this:
1.Login EM and check BI server is running successfully.
2.Started the UA.bat.
Select the operation:Upgrade Oracle BI RPD and Web Catalog.
Step by Step,and the upgrade completed successfully.
3.Open the RPD online using the Admintool succefully.
4.But when I Login the BI and view the dashboard with the 10g's user (Administrator),the page appear the error "*Unable to Sign In . An invalid User Name or Password was entered.* "
5.Then I Try to Regenerating User GUIDs
1. Update the FMW_UPDATE_ROLE_AND_USER_REF_GUIDS parameter in NQSConfig.INI:
a. Open NQSConfig.INI for editing at:
b. ORACLE_INSTANCE/config/OracleBIServerComponent/coreapplication_obisn
c. Locate the FMW_UPDATE_ROLE_AND_USER_REF_GUIDS parameter and set it to YES, as follows:

if your using oracle db please make sure your db settings and tnsnames.oRA settings
also try you please try below troubleshooting steps:
1) please check latest error message and find the root cause,
presentation catalog log path:
obiee installed Drive:\Oracle\Middleware\instances\instance1\diagnostics\logs\OracleBIPresentationServicesComponent\coreapplication_obips1\sawlog0.txt file
also check it nqserver.log file
oracle bi server log path ref:
obiee installed Drive:\Oracle\Middleware\instances\instance1\diagnostics\logs\OracleBIServerComponent\coreapplication_obis1\nqserver.log
2)can you try to login RPD,EM and console by using your weblogic a/c then try to login with some other user.
if its not working then try to delete that users from catlog and check it Check OPMN services are running state.
