Some Problems in Cube+OLAP+OLAP Instance?
I have some more questions: -
1- I can't view the cube when i open it after some time it gives me a error dialog with no message??
2- How to see the OLAP Service manager & plz tell me how to install it.As i deploy the dimension i can see that in in (Warehouse --> OLAP --> ). But incase of JDeveloper it searces for OLAP instace and couldn't find it. There r no services of OLAP as specified in Documents but there is no such service.?
2a- I have installed Oracle OLAP option while installing Database instance but the OLAP servince is not there in Services?
3- When i deploy Dimension it is deployed in OLAP environment and i can see the Dimension under specified user (in Warehouse --> OLAP --> Dimension -->myuser --> myDimension) . But when i deploy Cube it is deployed in schema but not shown in OLAP workspace(in Warehouse --> OLAP --> Cube -->myuser --> myCube) . And when i export it through bridge then it appears there(in Warehouse --> OLAP --> Cube -->myuser --> myCube) . Shouldn't the cube be shown directly in Oracle OLAP workspace (as in case of dimension)?
1) Be sure to execute MR_REFRESH on the metadata reader tables. You must do this after creating or modifying the OLAP Catalog. Please refer to Chapter 15, CWM2_OLAP_METADATA_REFRESH, in the Oracle OLAP Reference (9.2.0.4).
2) If you have installed 9iR2 EE w/ Data Warehouse database configuration, you will have an OLAP node under Warehouse in Enterprise Manager.
3) Which application does not show the cube (Enterprise Manager, JDeveloper, or Warehouse Builder)? If this is CWM2 metadata, OEM will not display it. It only displays CWM Lite (CWM1). You will need Analytic Workspace Manager to view both CWM Lite and CWM2 metadata.

Problem in connecting OLAP instance
Hi,
I am new to jdeveloper.
We are using as follow
DB Oracle 9.0.2 is in SUN Sparce
JDeveloper 9.0.3 as client in Win 2k
I am able to connect the database using JDBC thin using JDeveloper connection (BIBDemo).
When i try to connect the olap instance for BI Design I get following error
oracle.dss.connection.common.ConnectionExpection: BIB 16623 cannot locate the specify OLAP Instance, but the olap instance is running.
Kindly give me an idea what will be the problem.
Thanks,

Problem when querying OLAP for Value based hierarchy
Hi I have problem when querying OLAP for value based hierarchy , for level based dimension it work fine
the strange part is if I only put one value, it will work perfectly
for example if I put only 1 value for that value base hierarchy like CF_HIER::426362, then it will get the correct value for that id 426362
but if I put multiple value to the list
CF_HIER::426362
CF_HIER::424470
CF_HIER::429073
CF_HIER::424230
then only some value will come out correctly, some of them will be 0, I wonder why because if I query using each value, then it show correct value
for multiple value usually only the top in hirarchy give correct value, but the leaf will give 0, but if I query only the leaf, the leaf will give correct value
this problem only happen for my value based hierarchy, for the level based hierarchy it work fine both for each value or multiple value in the list
this is the code how I guery
////the "elementIdList" is where the value is (CF_HIER::426362,CF_HIER::424470,CF_HIER::429073,CF_HIER::424230), if I only put single value in this list the query work fine, but if I put multiple value then some value give correct result, some will give 0
String[] elementIdArr = new String[elementIdList.size()];
int i = 0;
for (Long elementId: elementIdList) {
String elementIdStr ="";
if (hierarchy instanceof MdmLevelHierarchy)
elementIdStr = hierarchy.getName()+dimension.getValueSeparationString()+
level.getName()+dimension.getValueSeparationString()+
level.getName()+"_"+elementId;
else
elementIdStr = hierarchy.getName()+dimension.getValueSeparationString()+
elementId;
elementIdArr[i++] = elementIdStr;
Source myList = dp.createListSource(elementIdArr);
result = hierarchy.getSource().selectValues(myList);
Source joinedSource = measure.getSource();
joinedSource = joinedSource.join(result );
is there any suggestion where I'm doing wrong?or is it different between querying value based hier with level based hier?

Accessing OLAP Instance Service Manager
Hi,
Can anyone help me the current problem I have. I am evaluating
Oracle 9i for
Windows version 9.0.1.1.1 running on Windows 2000 advance server
(Service
Pack 2), and currently looking at the OLAP and data mining
capabilities.
However, I have run into a small problem. Both the OLAP service
and the OLAP
Agent are running (yes, I did unlock both the OLAPSVR account
and the
OLAPDBA account use the default passwords), the problem is when
I go into
the OLAP Instance manager I don't see the instance, all I get is
the two
menu options exit and help (which doesn't show me any thing?)
I look at the OLAP service log, which is show below, and it
looks like a
CORBA problem, there is a technical note, but I don't have
metalink support.
Is there a patch I can get to help me out?
Thanks in Advance.
Cheers,
Campbell

Exception in thread "main" java.lang.NoSuchFieldError:envCharSetId
Query 2:
We are not able to create an OLAP Instance with the JDeveloper Environment with Oracle 9i Enterprise Edition Database with OLAP option.
Procedure I did was:
1)I took one sample BIBean
2)selected BIDesigner with settings option
3)Attempting to create an OLAP instance with JDeveloper Environment with Oracle 9i Enterprise Edition with OLAP Option. Error thrown is pasted below.
Error:
java.lang.NullPointerException.
Please revert back ASAP.
Regards,
AiktaYou must use an OLAP compliant version of the database. The latest certified patchset is 9206. I expect you are trying to use an incorrect version of the database.

Some problems and questions using OWB
For Igor or anyone who can help me :-)
Hello Igor,
Thanks for all your help concerning my mapping deployment problem! Now its working better ;-)
I used the OWB Runtime Assistant to create a new runtime target schema and i use the owner of this schema as user while logging to OWB.
Now i can create and deploy without problems mappings, tables, functions, procedures, packages, dimensions, views, materialized views, process flows (i have installed the Oracle Workflow Client 2.6.2.0.0 with OWF builder and OWF mailer ).
However I have still some problems and questions :-)
a) After deploying a mapping or process flow i can execute them from OWB Deployment Manager. How can i schedule the execution of a deployed precess without using OWBDM ? (I want to execute a process every day to perform ETL).
b) I think i have a problem deploying cubes. I create a cube in OWB, the validation is OK, the deploment succeds, but if i look with OEMC in the tree in the Warehouse OLAP section no cube is created. Only the fact tabe is created. If i look to the scripts from the Pre Deployment generation results i found DDLs only for TABLE, INDEX, UNIQUE KEY, FOREIGN KEY and ANALYZE object types, meanwhile during a dimension deployment i found also a DDL for the DIMENSION type object. WHY ?
c) If I look in the procedures of the new created OWB Runtime Target Schema I found 3 procedures which are in error and when I try to compile them I receive the following error messages :
- procedure WB_OLAP_LOAD_CUBE
PLS-00201: identifier 'DBMS_AWM.CREATE_AWCUBELOAD_SPEC' must be declared
- procedure WB_OLAP_LOAD_DIMENSION
PLS-00201: identifier 'DBMS_AWM.CREATE_AWDIMLOAD_SPEC' must be declared
- procedure WB_OLAP_LOAD_DIMENSION_GENUK
PLS-00201: identifier 'DBMS_AWM.CREATE_AWDIMLOAD_SPEC' must be declared
How can solve this problem? Is there any link with the fact that the cube is not generated?
d) When I first acces the deployed DIM in the OEMC tree I receive a message saying that the dimension does not have complete metadata as needed for use by Oracle OLAP services (because is created either in an earlier version of Oracle database or it was created by an an other application than OEMC) and OEMC automatically generates the default needed metadata. Is this normal ?
I work in an environment with
- Oracle 9i Database 9.2.0.1.0
- Oracle 9i Client 9.2.0.1.0
- Oracle 9i Warehouse Builder Products 9.2.0.2.8
Best Regards:
Vlad
PS Sorry for my poor English ;-)Answered in your "Getting RPE-01008 when deploying mappings" post.

Facing some problem while configuring Workflow Manager 1.0.
Hi,
I am facing some problem while configuring Workflow Manager 1.0. in my farm.
Scenario is,
I have installed and configured workflow manager in my farm, it was working well with no issue. But one of team member played with AD and deleted Farm administrator's entry from AD by mistake. So suddenly workflows get affected and stopped working.
Then I added administrator entry in AD, uninstalled the Workflow Manager and installed it again. But now while configuring workflow manager I am facing some issues that "Failure to adding user in BUILTIN\Administrative group. Please add it manually"
And after sometime it shows another error message that, "Starting service Service Bus Massage broken failed: Timed out has expired, the operation has not been completed"
If I go for services then "Service bus Message broker" service is not running properly (Its status is just showing "Starting") and don't starts.
I have also added the user in BUILTIN\Administrator, IIS_IUSER, WSS_WPG group of the machine from computer manager - user and groups.
Also given permission to databases, and assign role of sysadmin and dbcreator to user
I also tried following steps
1) Stop all services associated to workflows
2) Uninstalled workflow manager
3) Deleted all databases associated with workflows
4) Installed workflow manager and tried to configure.
But showing same error.
If I use another SharePoint server farm to configure workflows, there I am not getting first error of adding user to BUILTIN\Administrator group. but second error remains same.
We having SQL server and Active directory at another machine and FARM at another machine, if I use local admin for configuration of the workflows (as local admin can start any services) but entry of local admin is not Active directory so can not assign SQL's
sysadmin, and dbcreator role to local admin.
I am attaching snapshot of error for better understanding.
Your help will be very precious to me.
Thanks,
Rajesh

Check to see what the service accounts are being used for these Workflow Manager 1.0 services:
Service Bus Message Broker
Service Bus Gateway
Workflow Manager Backend
All of these should be running and your workflow service account should be running all of these. If any are still configured under the old service account, they'll need to be updated. Next, check to see what service accounts have access to the
Workflow Manager 1.0 databases:
SbGatewayDatabase
SbManagement
SbMessageContainer
WFInstanceManagement
WFManagement
WFResourceManagement
The Workflow Manager service account should be mapped as the DBO for all of these. if any are still configured under the old service account, they'll need to be updated.
Given the complete loss of the original workflow service account, and the resultant impact on security configuration throughout the workflow farm, I would recommend performing a re-installation. Do it thus:
Launch Workflow Manager Configuration Wizard
Select the Leave Workflow Manager Farm
Stop all workflow services (see above list)
Repeat steps 1-3 for each instance of Workflow Manager 1.0 Server installed.
Delete all Workflow Manager databases (see above list).
reboot.
Start new installation. -

Nothing will work, it keeps saying activation turn on Wi-Fi when my Wi-Fi is turned on. As soon as I got this on Christmas. iMessage and FaceTime have not been working. My Apple and ID password are correct. Everything else is working fine. My iOS updates are up to date, everything is fine except FaceTime and iMessage

Some problems with 3D with xorg 1.9.2-1 and xf86-video-intel 2.12.0-3
I have some problems with the upgrade to xorg 1.9.1-1 and xf86-video-intel 2.12.0-3. Glxgears does not run smoothly at all and I got 15-20 fps (instead of the normal 60 because intel should sync with the V refresh rate). Very curiously, these problems disapear if I move the mouse cursor somewhere in the screen. Then glxgears run smooth and I have indeed the expected 60 fps
There are no error messages and glxinfo say that 3D is indeed enabled.

Do you have problems with anything that's *not* glxgears?
I have indeed not seen other problems. Presently the only other software that I believe use openGL that I use is googleearth; which run fine. Could it be a problem with glxgears? -
MSI K8N SLI and Athon 64 X2 4200+: some problems
Hi from France
I've try to upgrade my computer all day long, and still have no solution about this..
Mainboard: MSI K8N-SLI
Processor: Athlon 64x2 4200+
RAM: CORSAIR 1Go *2 PC 3200
Graphic card: MSI X1950 Pro 256 Mo Radeon
2 HD (WD 250 Go and WD 160 Go) on IDE 133 (supplied by the mainboard)
OK, I've connected everything, everythings seems to be well started, the CPU is recognized as ATHLON 64 X2 4200+, and I try to go into BIOS by pressing "DEL", as it is written on my screen (just beside "F11 to boot sequence)
Nothing happened, it seems that it freezes...
When I start the computer, I hear my HD starting, the graphic card also, everything...
But what's going on ??
I'm a little bit disappointed, it's not the first time I do this kind of upgrade...
I've rebuilt my computer with "old" configuration MSI K7N L Athlon XP 3000+ and MSI 6600 Geforce
Every thing is ok
I don't understand, can somebody helps me

First of all
HAPPY NEW YEAR (in France, it's done)
And for my computer, all is allright now
Like a silly boy, I've connected too much things in the beginning (USB Hub I've forgot not to plug)..
And so without that, computer boots well, CPU is seeing good, RAM is OK and all the drives..
Some problems with my OS (XP and SP2), but as somebody says above, I needed to "repair" it, and all is good now
Thanks for your answer...
Best regards...

Facing some problems in creating a custom tabs in CRMD_ORDER Transaction
Hi Friends,
I am facing some problems in creating a custom tabs in CRMD_ORDER Transaction code in Solution Manager of SAP.
Actually my requirement is adding of two tabs(one is header & another is item tab) in the above Transaction, i was able to put one tab i.e header tab but i was not able to keep item tab. i found a badi CRM_CUSTOMER_I_BADI in which documentation was given & i processed in the same way.
For information i used the Badi CRM_CUSTOMER_H_BADI for header tab which i was able to add the tab & all functions like change, save working Good.
But i want how to add custom tab in which item details were to be attached.
i was done with the necessary SPRO settings(or Tcode CRMV_SSV) & able to see the 2 tabs thats it, but the functionality save is not working for the second tab & not saving in table CRMD_CUSTOMER_I (in this table there is one CI include where we added our item fields).
And also i had a doubt whether to use ALV or Table Control. And if possible can any one can sent me the screen design & the code for the above requirement in detail.
can any one who have knoweldge in Solution Manager & in the above Badi implementation can give me a right solution which will help me a lot.
Thanks a lot in advance.
Thanks
Ravi.
can any one give the solution regarding to the above one.

I have the same problem by using Service Ticket in SAP CRM 5.0.
Did you already solved this issue? If so, can you please provide the solution!?
How can I activate and check the transfer log?
Thanks and regards

Safari keeps crashing every time I try to open a link from a different application, i.e. Mail. The trouble report says that some problem occurs with libcooliris.dylib plug-in. Can any one help?
Thanks!Dear Linc,
Thank you for the advice, John Blanchard1 and Linc Davis
As suggested in your reference thread I removed "/Library/Printers/hp/PDEs/hpPostScriptPDE.plugin" and the problem has been resolved.
I am guessing the the plug-in for the hp printers got corrupted and effected every thing, or became unsuitable when I installed an Apple update. I would be most grateful if you can confirm how the problem was coursed so I can understand and learn from this experiance.
