Some Services not appearing in ESS.

Hi All,
I have configured ESS and it was working fine previously.
But now Some Services on overview page of ESS are missing after 105 mapping.
This issue is for all the users.
But if i remove 105 mapping all the service link appearing on overview page.
services not appearing after 105 mapping : Form 16, tax declaration , IT declaration , work Event AreaPage.
System version is EHP7.

we are not using any UI5 Application so ODATA is not required.
we have configured LPD_CUST properly.
If Employee not maintain in 105 than all the services are appearing.
but if we map user under 105 infotype than some services is not appearing .

Bank Infotype Subtype Not appearing in ESS

Hello all, I am working with a client who allows employees to create/maintain up to 3 bank accounts. Our PA person has set up the following:
Infotype 0009 with Subtype 0 as the MAIN bank
Infotype 0009 with Subtype 1 as OTHER bank (can specify % or $ amount)
Infotype 0009 with Subtype 91 as SECONDARY bank.
Everything appears to be set up properly in V_T7XSSPERSUBTYP as follows:
10 -> 0009 -> 0 -> B1
10 -> 0009 -> 1 -> B3
10 -> 0009 -> 91 --> B3
The PROBLEM is this: when viewing the bank information on ESS, the SECONDARY bank does not allow the user to specify % or $ amount. Our PA person created subtype 91 by copying subtype 1, and she sees the $ or % field in the bank end, but it is not appearing in ESS.
Any clues?

The reason is prety startight forward. These fields are been enabled via web dynpro coding for subtype '1'.
Just in if condition for subtype 1 in the web dynpro coding also include subtype 91
by adding a or condition.. I do not remember the exact view name but it is pretty easy to find the view name and the exact place where you need to do this by looking at the De velopment compnent in NWDS

Some hyperlinks not appearing in generated Word doc

When I generate a Word document, some of the hyperlinks show up, but not all.
I looked at Peter Grainge's site under Printed Documentation and issues, but didn't find anything that matched my problem. I also looked here on the forum, but didn't find anything.
I have a feeling it's a problem with style mapping because the links that aren't showing up are those that appear in lists (both ol and ul).
In other words, if I put a link in a paragraph that's a regular <p></p> paragraph, it appears in the Word doc and the link itself works.
If I put it in a <li></li> paragraph, the link does not carry over; there is no blue underlining and if you mouse over what should be a hyperlink, the cursor does not change to a hand icon.
Can anyone provide any suggestions?
I'm using RoboHelp 9 and Word 2010.

RoboHelp 10. I recently had a similar problem with hyperlinks not appearing in the PrintedDoc output, despite the following settings:
Conditional Build Expression = None
TOC = Default Table Of Contents, which contains all the topics that I want to appear in the output, but does not include every topic in the HTML Files (Topics) folder.
Retain hyperlinks
By comparing hyperlinks in a number of topics with the Word page, I found that hyperlinks in the Word document are not active when the target topic is in the root folder, but is not included in the TOC.
In the Print Document Content dialog box, I typically select TOC>Show all topics and click the double right-pointing arrows so that all the topics in the default TOC are in the right pane.
When I realized that hyperlinks to root topics were not active, I added the topics to the document content. To do this, I selected Top Level Folder and then selected each topic whose Help icon is white (i.e. not in the TOC) and clicked the right-pointing arrow to move it to the Content pane.
However, to make me happy on a Friday afternoon: "Internal error encountered. Failed to generate Printed Documentation".
I tried generating again, and now RH appears to be stuck on "Updating images". This happened the other day, too, and I waited 10 minutes before understanding that RH would stay stuck forever and would never even crash .
Here's what I think will resolve this particular issue. I'll put the renegade topics in the Default TOC so that hyperlinks to them will be active. This is not a problem for my end users because I don't generate their output from the Default TOC -- my project has five other TOCs that are used to generate WebHelp Pro. I only use the Default TOC to:
Edit topics in any module without having to open each individual TOC
Generate a "Test ALL" SSL that contains everything, so that I can search more easily across modules
Generate PrintedDoc for reviewers
Hope this information is useful to anyone who encounters this type of problem.

Custom Subtypes for IT0021 not appearing in ESS

We are in ECC 6.0 and using custom subtypes like FM01 - FM06 for IT0021 (Family Member/Dependents). Now we are doing ESS implementation and we are not able to display Family details through ESS.
I have maintained the subtypes in table V_T7XSSPERSUBTY.
Our country grouping is 99 and for IT0021 we are using Russian Country screen and completed relevant configurations changes for the same.
Dear Friends, Can anyone guide me what extra changes I need to make for the Custom Subtypes (for IT0021) to appear in ESS.

One thought: There are 2 IMG nodes for Defining possible family members - in addition to V_T7XSSPERSUBTYP.
This is already maintained in our installation, as we are now doing an upgrade.
And all I did for upgrade, was entering data into V_T7XSSPERSUBTYP.
Check out if you need the entries in both the IMG nodes as well. It should not be necessary to code anything to get the subtypes in ESS.

Services not appearing

I used to have a nifty script that I downloaded that would paste a highlighted text from one application into the Lyrics entry of a highlighted item in iTunes. This script is installed under user/library/services.
Since upgrading to SL, this service only appears now in iTunes. This service or indeed any other services appear in any other applications such as Firefox and where they did under Leopard.

I would guess you were using the Doug's old Service. I don't think it will work. Service has been completely reworked in Snow Leopard. I tinkered a bit and created a Service that will add lyrics. First, the song you want to add lyrics to will actually have to be set to play, it can't just be selected with something else having the "play" icon.
Next you will have to use Automator to create a new Service. So launch Automator and select Service as the type. At the top of the left pane select "Service receives selected" to "text" in "any application" (that way you aren't restricted to Safari as your source).
With Library selected in the left pane, scroll the option list down to "Copy to Clipboard" and drag that item into the left pane. Then select Music under Library and go to "Get the Current Song" and drag that under the Copy action. Next set yourself back to the full Library, and scroll down to "Run Applescript" and drag that into last place. If necessary click the disclosure triangle, and select the line

Replace it with this Applescript:

Save your new Service--I named mine AddLyrics. Now when you select some text in any application your AddLyrics service will be available. If it isn't you may have to go to System Preferences, Keyboard, Keyboard Shortcuts, select Services, scroll down to the Text section and make sure there is a check mark in front of your service. Mine was automatically added. You can also access your service from the Contextual menu.

Some images do, some do not appear in Preview or Publish

Greetings,
I imported a FrameMaker file, which generated its own folder
and the file with all of its screenshots are in that folder. Within
RoboHelp (7, FlashHelp) all images appear as expected. When
compiled for Preview or for Publshing, however, some images do
appear while others with the same path do not appear.
What is going on?
Am I missing something?

Yes I do and that is another problem I will check the box for each item I do want to show up
in the menu bar when I check the box it will stay checked until just when I'm starting to close the
box? This really weird as I said in my 1st post I have to go to the System Library>CoreServices
then the folder Menu Extra's I'm just about at the point of reinstalling my OS unless someone
can tell me why this is happening

"Some services not started". Reason to worry?

In my system I see that some services have not been strated. Right-clicking attempting to do so does not make a difference.
Is something wrong that could be fixed?

If I understood you correct, with "reconfigured Frontend appliance" you refer to the fact that in addition to the backend server (where the HANA instance is hosted) the CAL-solution includes a frontend server with which the backend server CAN - but not MUST - be accessed. Right?
Please note that I am not working through the frontend server, but connect directly to the backend from my local frontend (which has all the frontend tools - like e.g. HANA Studio - installed).
Is also in this case the solution to add:
xx.xx.xx.xx hanadb hanadb.dummy.nodomain
to the hosts file?

Why do some pages not appear on screen?

My wife is using the latest version of Keynote. Apparently some pages of text are not appearing on screen when she gives presentations in schools. This has happened across several projectors but the presentation runs fine on the computer! I have met problems like this with video codecs but never just basic pages of text. I presume that things like fonts are irrelevant in this context?

Thanks for this. My wife can't remember which version she used to create the presentation. She still has both versions on board but this sometimes creates issues when she is in a classroom. I had suggested that the newer version was now maturing but it sounds like she will still need to keep both versions installed. I wonder if content could be copied and pasted into the newer version to overcome this problem? Once again thanks for your help.

Why do some photos not appear in the book I am creating?

I am composing two books at the moment and will want to order them shortly.
The problem I have is that, sometimes the photos do not appear when you drag them into the book - it just shows an exclamation mark. However if you look at the layout in the top section, it appears.
The photos not showing are either very high-res digital pictures from a professional photographer or scanned photos, but the scanned ones are of similar (OK) quality and identical resolution to others which are visible.
I am worried what will happen when I go to order the book - will these pictures not upload?
Does anyone know why this is happening or a fix?

sometimes the photos do not appear when you drag them into the book - it just shows an exclamation mark.
The ! or ? turns up when iPhoto loses the connection between the thumbnail in the iPhoto Window and the file it represents.
The most common cause of this is User Activity in the iPhoto Library Folder in the Finder.
Have you altered, moved or renamed anything in the iPhoto Library Folder?
If you haven't, then try rebuilding the database. Hold down the apple and option (or alt) keys while launching iPhoto. Use the resulting dialogue to rebuild.

Why do some images not appear unless iPad is rotated?

I Have an app which should display maps, sheet music etc (and did with ios7) but ios8 the images do not appear unless the iPad is rotated. Then they appear, but this has to be done for every image, and repeated for the same image when going back to it.
a Similar problem arises in Safari, when a tab is closed, the previous page does not display until the iPad is rotated.
this is iPad 4th gen retina, and iPad mini retina.
what is the problem, and is there a fix coming?

I’ve used Robohelp even before it was called that, way bay to Blue Sky software, then Macromedia and am now up to Adobe version 10 for HTML.
I have a series of projects that I maintain; they are on our network, as is the Robohelp program. The projects are laid out with a main folder, then subfolders for each section. I then import the html files into Robohelp from Windows 7 using the Project Manager, opening HTML Files (topics) folder, then right clicking on each folder and using the Import… option to navigate to the location on the network and import the html file.
The problem is that random files seem to be losing the images that have been linked (imbedded in the html pages) or are just not including the images, even though the images are properly inserted in the html pages, and are included in the source folders on the network. The only way to have these images show up in Robohelp is to delete the html page from Robohelp and reimport. This is random so I never know which pages are missing images until compiled. I have at least 4 major projects with pages ranging from 200-1500 in total so this is difficult to maintain.
I can’t think of anything I’m doing differently than I have done for the past 15 years. My supervisor is adamant that we forget Robohelp and use Atlassian Confluence and I am trying hard to hold my ground. It’s becoming more difficult to make the argument to upgrade to version 11 when I’m spending so much time retracing my steps.
If there is any help you could offer that would be very much appreciated.

Code of Conduct Service not showing in ESS

The Code of Conduct Service PDF is not showing up, it appears as if it's loading and eventually stop without showing, No error is given it just doesn't show up on the page. The Code of conduct form has been created in ERP using Adobe Form Designers and credential for Adobe Document Services have been installed as well.
The steps to reproduce is:

Contextual Services not appearing correctly

I love the new format for Services and how only relevant ones are supposed to appear at any given time. However, Snow Leopard is not always offering the correct ones. The only ones I ever used (and I used them a lot) were the Convert Traditional Chinese and Convert Simplified Chinese while in Safari. I'd navigate to a Simplified Chinese web page, select the text I wanted, and convert it to my preferred Traditional Chinese. This would also work for text I'd enter into a page. Now SL doesn't recognize that the text I have selected is Chinese, so doesn't offer these Services! Is there a way to "force" it to always offer Chinese text conversion in the Services menu?
These services are selected in the Preferences, and occasionally show up in Safari, but not always. I haven't been able to reproduce the situation in which they do.
The workaround is to copy Chinese text, paste it into TextEdit, and convert it there. This is very inconvenient, however. Any ideas?

Delete button not appearing in ESS Family members/Dependends

Hi All,
We have a requirement to add a button delete button on ESS-> Personnel Information-> Family Member/Dependents under Partner, where Partner is custom sub infotype.
For sub types like Spouse, child it is appearing by default, but not apearing for Partner, donno why?
For information: It is calling HRXSS_PER_READ_P0021_GA function module.
From a Webdynrpo applcation, it looks like getting dynamic layout based on a function module.

Some email not appearing in the inbox

My Iphone 3gs doesn't appear to be downloading all my emails. When I check my computer, some are downloaded and some are only on my computer. Anyone with similar issues? Any advice? Thanks!

Do you have a POP3 account, IMAP, or push? If it's POP3 then it is working as it should. Email downloaded to your computer is deleted from the server after download. Email downloaded to your phone is not. So if you get the mail first on the iPhone it will appear on your computer, but if you get it first on the computer it will no longer be on the server to be downloaded to your iPhone.
POP3 was designed years ago, when it never occurred to anyone that an individual would have more than one computer to read mail on. When things change IMAP was introduced. With IMAP the master copy is on the server and remains there. Other devices sync to the server. So if you move or delete the mail on one client it will also be moved or deleted on all of the others.

Some Folders not appearing on external drive after mavericks update.

This is strange but some of the folders on my external wont appear... It has a fat32 partition.. only a few folders show up,
the size of the partition is 100 GB, the size of visible folders is around 20 gb.. free space 118 mb... that means the folders and files that are not showing do exist.. just unable to see them... i tried switching on hidden files for finder - no success.

Do other peripherals work when connected to the MBP?
