I currently install a software that needs to have a services run in order to for the license to be detected.When i run the services manually i got this error message
'THE UBSLAN_LDR SERVICE ON LOCAL COMPUTER STARTED AND THEN STOPPED.SOME SERVICES STOP AUTOMATICALLY IF THEY ARE NOT IN USE BY OTHER SERVICES OR PROGRAMS'
What can cause this and solution please

Thanks for posting here.
After reading your posting I understand that when you establish USBLAN_LDR service on windows server 2008, system prompt an error message.
According the information what you provided right now, it’s hard to determine what cause this issue, you may like to post more information about your environment
(Event log ,Other System prompting etc… ).
Please check if it worked with assign a Local System account instead of Local Service account to run this service.
Open service MMC snap-in.
Right UBSLAN_LDR service , and click “properties”.
Click “Log on” tab , and assign a local account for running this services.
Seems this issue related to a third party software, I suggest to consult software vendor for future troubleshooting.
Please understand that I don't mean to bounce you between different solution provider as I am fully aware how time consuming this can be. However, they really are
in a better position to be able to assist you with this issue as they may have experienced similar issues.

What’s the version of your TFS?
How do you configure the test control?
Please make sure you are specify the team collection instead of team project.
On the other hand, you may enable test controller logs. (You could share the log file on the OneDrive)

when trying to fix the ipod syncing/recognition by starting the AMD (apple mobile device) in admin tools section on my computer it came up with the message in the question aboce (the apple mobile device service on local computer started then stopped. The server farm account should not be used for other services

I have created a new SharePoint Foundation 2013 Farm. I only used the Farm Configuration Wizard to create the Search Service Application, all other aspects of the Farm was created using PowerShell.
The SharePoint Health Analyzer is reporting the following error:
Title: The server farm account should not be used for other services.
Severity: 1 - Error
Category: Security
Explanation: DOMAIN\FARM_ACCOUNT, the account used for the SharePoint timer service and the central administration site, is highly privileged and should not be used for any other services on any machines in the server farm. The following services were
found to use this account: Distributed Cache Service(Windows Service)
Remedy: Browse to

Now I understand how to change the account used to run the Distributed Cache Service, but my query is what account should I use in the least privelage model? I have setup the following 6 accounts as per TechNet guidelines (Link)
and am not sure if one of these accounts should be used or if another account is required:
SQL Server service account
Setup user account
Server farm account
SharePoint Server Search service account
Default content access account
Application pool identity

within the Farm?
Also, what does the article mean when it says "Plan one set of an application pool and proxy group for each service application that you plan to implement."? How do I go about doing this?

Inder: Yes, It is suggested to have multiple service account for each service application. This increases security and dependencyof 1 account on multiple Service applications. Like below
SQL Server service
Local System account (default)
Setup user
Member of the Administrators group on the local computer
Server farm
Network Service (default)
No manual configuration is necessary.
SharePoint Server Search Service
By default, this account runs as the Local System account.
If you want to crawl remote content by changing the default content access account or by using crawl rules, change this to a domain user account. If you do not change this account to a domain user account, you cannot change the default content access account
to a domain user account or add crawl rules to crawl this content. This restriction is designed to prevent elevation of privilege for any other process running as the Local System account.
Default Content Access
No manual configuration is necessary if this account is only crawling local farm content. If you want to crawl remote content by using crawl rules, change this to a domain user account, and apply the requirements listed for a server farm.

Inder: Each service account has a application pool and you can plan to use same application pool for multiple
service accounts if required. These application pool are then consumed by proxy connection
of each service application. On service application pool, you can see all the service applications and its proxy connection.

Upgrade to Windows Server 2008 installation fails (reports Services to uninstall but they are not installed)

I am upgrading a Windows Server 2003 to 2008.
When I run the install it completes the Compability check and reports that Sharepoint Services and WSUS are installed. They are not installed and are not running Services either. I have attempted to remove Registry keys for these but this does not resolve
my issue.
Control Panel, Add/Remove does not report these as installed either.
How do I get the 2008 install to continue and ignore these OR how do I "truly" get these "uninstalled" if there is nothing I can do to find out what is reporting that they are installed?

SBS 2003 does contain these feature by default. Is this a small business server OS? If so I'd try them over here.

Yes i've tried all of that. I've turned it all the way on and off and erased all of my music and put it back on and nothing works. And with the breaking up CDs and putting into compilation categories i have already fixed all of that stuff. It's fine it just doesn't show up in the list of artists. I can find the album in the songs category and the albums category it's just it doesn't show tha name of the artist. All of the other albums that i downloaded before i updated my itunes to th most recent update are fine. It's just the two that i downloaded afterwards. Thanks for trying though.

HELLO to day 6 could be seven of no 4 g coverage on my VL600 broadband . Another run around call yesterday where of course the ask questions to see if you did anything wrong then the same things are done..{ turn off the comupter disconnect the VL600 ,, WAIT A FEW MINUTES plug the VL600 back in ..do you have 4g now....NO....well there is a ticket for this problem that was started on march 29 .... 6 days ago....3 times on the phone..it's the same thing....2 times in a chat room and no results... plus yesterday when you call verizon you press numbers and state what you are having problems with.. they connect you to someone to handle the problem but I loved yesterdays call ,,... after all the trys of getting my 4 g back up he text me a number on my iphone to call for TECH SUPPORT ... WHO was i switched to on the last 3 calls I made .... my big question is I know this is only a forum but chatting with some one from verizon 2 times.. calling 3 times where do i go next to get my broadband fix . fed up in wolcott ny

Wondering if it is a device issue. I would recommend visiting a corporate store with the laptop and VL600. It is usually easier to get a fix when someone can see what is going on. It is quite possible you need a replacement 4G SIM card. If they can't fix it in store and there is no damage to the device and you are still under warranty the rep can order a replacement if you qualify for it. I am not saying that you will get a replacement because I don't know your account specifics.
I know it's frustrating but calmly going to the store may be the solution to this issue. I hate trying to do tech support over the phone.

Is it possible to use a Case Structure to hide numeric indicators on the Front panel when they are not in use?

I am rather new to LabVIEW, have only been using it for about 1.5 weeks as of this post, which means I may be missing something rather obvious due to ignorance, but is there any way to have my front panel change as my case changes due to user selection of a certain case via the front panel?
The goal of the program is to make a simple layout for a user that is using the digital multimeter that the proposed code is designed for and I don't want tons of numeric controllers and such clogging up the screen space that don't work with the function the user is using to measure with.

They Are Not Talking To Each Other

I just bought a new iMac. With the old iMac, every time that iTunes was launched, the computer would sync with Apple TV. This computer does not sync with the launching of iTunes. I found this out when I rented a movie last night and tried to watch it. It was there on the iMac but it did not show up on Apple TV. It was only then that I realized that the syncing was no longer happening. How can I get it to sync again?

Let me just backtrack a bit here.
So I'm sitting on my sofa in front of the TV set and I fire up Apple TV.
From the Menu I choose
Settings
Computer
Add Shared iTunes Library
Connect to iTunes Window comes up with the following message
to stream iTunes content to your AppleTV, open iTunes and select AppleTV from the Devices list. You will need to enter this passcode
and then you're given a 5 digit code to enter. At this point I rush upstairs where my iMac is, open iTunes and yes, there is the Apple TV in the Devices list but there is nowhere that I can see for me to enter the 5 digit code. Ideally I should be seeing the AppleTV icon with the Click to Set up" next to it in the list as in these instructions
but all I see is a plain Apple TV icon so I am stymied. Maybe you should be renting movies via AppleTV and not on the iMac although I would have thought that with all the interconnectivity, a rental on any device can be viewed on any other.

I am having trouble completely emptying my trash on my mac. It says items are in use, but they are not. How do I force these items to be removed?

I have copied dvds that I own, for backup copies, onto the desktop of my macbook. Then I've placed a copy into iTunes for viewing later. Once the copy is over in iTunes, I delete the copy of the movie on the desktop and it goes to the trash. I do this because 1) I don't want to clutter up the desktop and 2) I don't want multiple copies of the movies on my hard drive. When I go to empty the trash, it says these items are in use and will not remove them from trash. Why is that? They are not in use as far as I know. How do I force them to be removed from trash?

I had a similar problem. I think it was caused by deleting an app while it was still running. I should have shut the app down before deleting freom the applications folder. When I tried to empty trash I received message:
"The operation can't be competed because the item something.app is in use."
Go to utilities, open a terminal, change directory to the hidden Trash folder and remove the offending item in use. Example:
cd ~/.Trash
sudo rm -rf item
Next time, maybe try quting iTunes before deleting and see if it makes any difference.

Yes, do not set it to automatic sync, and if these albums are purchases in iTunes, then you need to transfer them to your iTunes library. If you attempt to sync the device the music sync is one way, only from the library to the device. If this is music you did not purchase, but is on the iPod, you will need to get some 3rd party software to extract it from the iPod to put in the library. Touchcopy from Wide Angle Software is one choice. I have used it before and it does a lot more than music, and it works on both the Windows and Mac platforms.

I have signed out then back into the cloud. I have comfirmed location of the photostream folder. I have have even restored settings on my phone. any ideas on what I can do to get it working again? or do I have to accept defect, and manually save my photos?
