Some shows (HD only) not getting flagged in Guide as New

In the FIOS Guide, many shows are correctly flagged as "First Run" on the regular display channels, but not flagged as "First Run" on the exact same HD-version channel.
For example in the guide, bring up Thursday, Sept 26th at 8pm.
Channel 4 shows that a new episode of "Parks and Recreation" will air (its the 1-hour season premiere)
Channel 504 (HD) also shows "Parks and Recreation" in the same timeslot, but its not flagged as "First Run" and thus the series manager doesn't schedule it to record. But both are showing the same episode then.
Some channels are ok - e.g. Channel 2 and 502 both show a new episode of "Big Bang Theory" airing at 8pm.
I have several other examples of this. Therefore to set up recording the new season of TV shows, I either have to schedule the non-HD airing, or schedule all HD airings including repeats.
Any way to update the guide ?

For the infopackage, did u select the check box against your second cube in the Data targets tab of infopackage?

Launch the Console application in any of the following ways:
☞ Enter the first few letters of its name into a Spotlight search. Select it in the results (it should be at the top.)

Step 1
Select "system.log" from the file list. Enter "BOOT_TIME" (without the quotes) in the search box. Note the times of the log messages referring to boot times. Now clear the search box and scroll back in the log to the time of the most recent boot when you had the problem. Post the messages logged during the time when you had the problem – the text, please, not a screenshot. For example, if the problem is a slow startup taking three minutes, post the messages timestamped within three minutes after the boot time. If the problem is a crash or a shutdown hang, post the messages from before the boot time, when the system was about to crash or was failing to shut down.
Edit out excessive repeats and personal information, if any.
If the log doesn't go back far enough in time, scroll down in the Console file list to /private/var/log/system.log.0.bz2. Search the archived log, and if necessary the older ones below them, for the same information.
Step 2
Do the same with kernel.log.
Step 3
Still in Console, look under System Diagnostic Reports for crash or panic logs, and post the most recent one, if any. For privacy’s sake, I suggest you edit out the “Anonymous UUID,” a long string of letters, numbers, and dashes in the header of the report, if present (it may not be.) Please do not post shutdownStall or hang logs – they're very long and not helpful.

Imap: google, hotmail, and more including icloud.
If you want to use multiple devices - move to imap, I would even say "exchange", but Google does not support free exchange anymore, since January of that year. So Ironically Icloud or Hotmail would be my choices right now.

I purchased a season pass to a tv show and did not get all of the downloads

I purchased a season pass to a tv show, and only three of the eight shows available for download actually downloaded. The other five came up to download, but then disappeared. There will be around 20 all together, and I know the other 12 will not be available until after they air. I even received a confirmation email that showed I should have been able to download 8, not just 3. What can I do? How do I get the other 5 that should have downloaded?

Go to the page roaminggnome linked to. Under the *Get Customer Service* column, click Video, and it should expand the list.
Click on *Video Purchases* next, and it will expand the list again.
Click on *Lost or Missing items*.
A gray button that says *Email Us* will appear on the right.
If you aren't seeing that, maybe your popup blocker is hiding it.

Embedding PDF in Powerpoint - showing filename only not PDF content

Hi all,
I have automated a powerpoint presentation to embed PDF's into a powerpoint presentation...
this all works great but on some machines the content does not show, it only shows as the filename... it is still embeded but I want the content of the PDF to be displayed on the slide... which it does on some machines and I can't see what is different on the PC's that it won't do that on...
The command used to insert the PDF is ...
ActiveWindow.Selection.SlideRange.Shapes.AddOLEObject(Left:=60, Top:=20, FileName:=strOutputPath & "\" & strFilename, link:=msoFalse).Select
which is just an insert object from file command...
Further investigation showed that even trying to do this manually still will not bring in the content in... so then as a test i inserted the PDF in an Excel spreadsheet and the same result... content appears on some PC's some just show the filename only...
PS... I don't have the 'Show as icon' checkbox selected when i'm doing this.
Any pointers in the right direction would be very much appreciated...

OK - so Postscript and EPS are programming languages while PDF is not. So it's not the same thing. But I understand the concept.
An XObject is correct - but a Form XObject NOT a reference XObject. If this is for Acrobat, and you want to do this the quick and easy way, then call over to the addWatermark() method in JavaScript and let it do all the heavy lifting for you. Or, for native plugin code in Acrobat, there is the AFPDFormFromPage() API that will also do the work of creating the necessary CosObj for you.
For PDFLibrary, you will need to do the work yourself as there isn't a high level API call.

I just bought a music album downloaded into my i phone. Then that iphone crashed so got another one the same day. I can not get up the album that I paid for on my music site? What must I do to get it back. I have i Cloud and got most of my pictures uploaded but not my one album ( I only had one).

Go to iTunes on your iPhone, and click "Purchased" on the bottom toward the right. You should find the album in both "All" and "Not on This iPhone". You should be able to re-download it. If it's in iCloud, you will see the cloud from which to download; otherwise, you should see a download button.
If you do not see it, then inspect your account on iTunes on your computer. Go to your account there, and there is a place that lists your purchases.

I'm not geeting any sound alerts for new email, sent mail, clender alerts etc for my iphone 4. Though all my alerts are on. Also I can't hear the incoming call but the speaker works. I've already upgraded to latest 4.3.3 Any help appriciated.

This is a carrier problem. AT&T probably screwed up and disabled your texting. They did this to my daughter 2 days after she got her iPhone on my family plan with unlimited texting. Call AT&T.
Also, make sure your mom has the unlimited family text plan, not just unlimited on her phone. In that case you would need a separate plan for your phone

I can't think of any way to make the Navigation Toolbar appear/disappear based on which direction you move your mouse.
Well, there is full screen view, where the whole toolbar area including the tab bar slides up off the screen, and reappears if you slide the mouse pointer all the way to the top. (You can use the F11 key to turn full screen view on and off.)
Is it possible this is an option of one of your extensions?

I can not get the line guides to display in the viewport in firebug

The reason for this is because there was a security breach at Comodo which is an SSL certificate provider recently whereby a number of fraudulent certificates were inadvertently issued. These allow a hacker to impersonate any site including online banking and the Firefox version you're running at the moment will not warn you that the site is a fake. The fraudulent certificates were blacklisted in v3.6.17 and beyond.
Next, go to Tools | Add-ons | Extensions and remove '''SearchToolbar/1.2'''. This is Adware and will affect Firefox performance.
Also, in the same menu, remove "'''Zugo Toolbar'''" which falls into the same category.
Next, update Flash to the latest version from here: http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/<br><br>
This is also because of a vulnerability in the version you have installed at the moment. See http://www.adobe.com/support/security/bulletins/apsb11-12.html
After you update, go to the weather site again and if it doesn't show the animation, right click somewhere in the image and go to '''Global Settings'''. Make sure the first radio button is checkmarked which reads: ''Allow sites to save information on this computer''. Then refresh the page by hitting F5.
