Some sites I pull up in firefox load very small and almost unreadable. I have not had any problem in the past with these exact sites.

The sites I pull up seem to be half the size of normal. It normally has only been one site, but now it is happening to another site that I use frequently.

I cannot access the internet using firefox. The little toolbar identical (the far upper right in the screen) pops up and nothing else happerns. This has only started very recently and I have not had this problem in the past.

Do you have a "real" IP address or a private (192.168.x.x, 10.x.x.x, 172.x.x.x) IP address?

Could not access it because their network security blocked you by intent, or had some unknown technical difficulty?
Unless you are blocked by intent or ommission (if they have to explicitly allow your machine) I can think of no technical reason why your wired connection should not both get you on their network and on the internet in general. You should not need to be dual homed (though dual homing should work as well).
Please answer the questions above when you can - I think solving the wired LAN issue will be easier if you are not being intentionally blocked.

Firefox 17.0.1 is unbelieveably slow on my 32 bit Win 7 laptop. Prior to this, have not had any problem in years. IE 9 and 10 are fast.. What have you done here

It takes longer to load. Way longer than earlier versions.
Loading web pages is unacceptably slow, even those with no video or flash. I am a loyal and happy FF user for many years on this same laptop and Win 7 Ultimate (32 bit) platform. Till now.
IE and other browsers like Chrome are literally in another ballpark from you. I am very sorry this has happened and hope you will fox it soon...or many of your most satisfied and loyal customers like me will be gone.

I have this problem, too.
FF 17.0.1 (German version) and 32-bit Vista SP2.
FireFox stalls after URL input and "is waiting for URL...", although the sites are online and respond quickly in other browsers.
(In most cases, stall ends after 30...60 seconds, displaying desired URL.)
Moreover, during the "stall" situation: When opening a new tab or switching to an existing tab AND pressing F5 (reload) or input a new URL, the session in this tab stalls also (feels as if it is queuing "behind" the original stalling tab).
Moreover, during the "stall" situation: Firefox produces high CPU workloads (up to 100%), doing nothing (from user's point-of-view) and preventing other tasks on my PC to proceed quickly.
I tried lot of things to solve:
-> deinstall, new download, install new download
-> deactivated Addons and restart Firefox
-> always clear cache and remove cookies when exiting Firefox
Result: absolutely fruitless exercises.
Now I installed FF 16.0.1 which is working perfectly fine.
Looking forward to FF 17.0.2 or FF18 - will try again.

I am using ZoneAlarm V10 and its firewall. Following a suspicion I again installed 17.0.1 (for testing purposes), deactivated the ZA firewall and activated the Vista firewall. Result: also fruitless. So I again performed fallback to 16.0.1.

I get an error 2324 when loading IOS 5.0.1. I have never had any problems previously when loading new software. help

Since you don't bother giving us any other information, like where you are, whether you cut your own sim, or who your carrier is, we can't really give you a better answer.
There are known issues with cut SIMs and older micro-SIMs, especially outside of the US and Europe.

TS3297 I upgraded my IPhone and lost some of my songs. I have tried everything the guide is telling me to do but have not hald any results. The other problem is because of this it won't let me down load any songs from my PC. If you can help me out Plzzz.

The music files, were they bought from your iTunes account or did someone gift them to you after buying from the iTunes account? If they are yours you can download them again if you clear or de-authorise the ipod, it has to be done by whoever gave you the ipod to do this (the registered owner). If they were bought for you on another itunes account I don't think Apple let you use them as they are copyrighted and they don't belong to you, they belong to the person who bought them. If the music files where ripped from music cd's then click and drag them to a new folder on your desktop and have the person who gave you the ipod to de-authorise and unregister it. Then you re register it and put your files back from your desktop folder in your iTunes folder and synch. Hopefully that would work. Any files which you did not buy, I would not know how get around this, best bet is to take it to you nearest Apple Store and explain that they were gifted to you and ask how you can use them. The best way to gift music files is to buy the gift tokens and give these. Hope above helps.

We have just upgraded to Firefox 5 at work and I no longer have a new tab thingy on the end of my tab list. I now have to go to file and choose new tab. I would love my wee plus at the end of my tabs back. I use lots of tabs!

I thought it might be due to having colourful tabs so have disabled that but it made no difference. I prefer having my tabs under the bookmark toolbar

You can find the New Tab button showing as a '+' on the Tab bar. 
You can open the Customize window and drag the New Tab button that shows as a plus sign (+) from the Tab bar on another toolbar and it will become a regular toolbar button like the New Tab button that you have in Firefox 3 versions. 
If you can't find the new tab button then click the "Restore Default Set" button in the Customize window. 
If you want the New Tab button at the far right end of the Tab bar then place a flexible to the left of it.

I cannot get the Nov. version of a web site, which changes monthly.I keep getting the Oct. version.The Nov. version can be accessed thru Internet Explorer.I've had this problem in the past.Waiting long enough (days or weeks) has resolved it.Please advise.

A couple of questions: By clearing recent history or cache, do I lose the ability to start other websites by just starting the information on the URL? Since update, various sites load very slowly and some do not load until "Reload Current Page" is clicked several times.

Since Firefox update (6.0.2) many sites load very slowly and some do not load at all (green circle rotates infinitely) until "Reload Current Page" is clicked on 2 to 12 times.
Returned to version 5. No more slow load.
Automatically re-updated me to 6.0.2 and now slow again.
Returned to FF 5 again and turned off automatic update.
Downloaded 7.0.1 and the problem seems to be solved.

Same here, only that updating to 7.0 or 7.0.1 doesn't seem to solve this issue. Seems to have something to do with loading images (e.g: adobe.com stops loading when "wwwimages.adobe.com" is being loaded. imdb.com, on the other hand, seems to load images very slowly and not all of them).
Safe-mode. disabling add-ons, clearing cache and cookies and checking for malware doesn't help.

You don't have to disable any addons or extentions!!!You guys are not going to believe this I figured out the problem it's really dumb...ok here goes the attachment uploader loads seperate so I got to thinking it's a popup so I went to options content and under block pop ups there is an option exceptions click on that and in the box type firefox.com and hit allow pow its fixed!!!!! :-)

Hi Kossa,
You can also check if the issue occurs in
Clean Boot. If the issue disappears in the Clean Boot environment, you can continue to narrow down which entry is causing the issue.
Besides, uninstall it and re-download
a fresh copy of FireFox to check the result. If the issue still exists, create a new user account to see if it occurs.
If the issue persists, you can contact Mozilla Support directly and use Internet Explorer (IE) during the time.

Considering it is a brand new machine ,please update the machines .To get a better performance of the machines ,we should always keep it up to date .
There is a possibility that the DVD/CD-ROm drives driver is old or has corrupted .Please open the device manager , update or reinstall the driver to have a check.

Suddenly, Firefox is very slow and lethargic and keeps showing an error message on the side of the page. Why?

Yesterday, I was working on the website, Shutterfly. Suddenly, there was an error message that it couldn't find a certain page. Now, Firefox continues to be very slow... and the error message keeps showing up on the search page, sometimes just parts of the message. I can still search but it is painfully slow and loads page partially and strangely... sometimes not full graphics, etc.

Or you can try what lots of other people have found, and thats that the base connector is dirty and the contacts are shorted by some debris.
The Apple store guys are good at cleaning them out - if you do it yourself, do not use any liquids at all.

I was asked to up grade my Firefox, when I did this the system crashed and I have lost use of my book marks and fire fox, I have not been able to fix it.

Two days ago I logged on to Firefox. I recieved a message that told me that I was using an out dated version. I had to up grade . I followed the instruction and when finished fire fox crashed. I am unable to delete firefox, reload it, or use it. I am forced to use Internet Explorer to use my computer. I have lost my book marked sites, and I am at a loss as how to retrieve what I have lost. I have tried to follow the instructions to fix the problem but I have not been able to fix the problem. I sent the crash information but recieved no responce.

Why would you not be able to use your existing Apple ID and iTunes account on a new laptop? If you authorized the computer - you should be able to use your existing account - unless you already had 5 computers authorized with the existing ID - and that was why iTunes would not accept the ID. However, I'm sure that you would have received a popup message from iTunes telling you that you had reached the limit.
I just received a new MBP and my daughter did as well. My entire family shares an Apple ID and we had no issues at all with my Apple ID and iTunes on our new computers and I did not have to sign up for a new account. Did you even try the old ID?
