when trying to play a flash video e.g.

Using IE 8 the video plays OK.
Other sites refuse to play videos saying I need shockwave flash 8 or higher, and I have version 10 installed.
(uninstallled and reinstalled several times)
sometimes thundering through the meues to use IE render engine works sometimes doesn't.

First check the settings and try all of the options in the [[websites say cookies are blocked]] article.
In addition to the above, another possible cause is the file that stores cookies is corrupt, if that is the case deleting the file should fix the problem. First you need to locate your profile folder, for details of how to do that see the [[profiles]] article. Once you have opened the profile folder, close Firefox and either delete or rename cookies.sqlite, when you restart Firefox that file will be re-created.

You need to enable third-party cookies if you want to logout from Hotmail. If you do not want to enable third-party cookies (I don't) then you need to remove the live.login and passport.net cookies yourself.

Doesn't Weight Watchers have an app for the iPhone and if so, is the function you are trying to access not available with the Weight Watcher's iPhone app?

Although possibly not related to your problem, I will remind you that the version of Firefox you are using at the moment has been discontinued and is no longer supported. Furthermore, it has known bugs and security problems. I urge you to update to the latest version of Firefox, for maximum stability, performance, security and usability. But you may be having a problem with some extension or plugin that is hindering your Firefox's normal behavior. Have you tried disabling all add-ons (just to check), to see if Firefox goes back to normal?

You can charge anytime. You can also plug it in over night if you want because you can never over charge it.

I foolishly installed Kaspersky, then Safari 4.0.5 crashed, deleted safari downloaded from disc, but now won't open saying i need osx 10.0 or higher. i am running 10.6.7!

After installing Kaspersky, Safari would crash immediately. I deleted all versions of Safari on my iMac, downloaded and tried to install Safari again.. I kept getting a message saying I needed OSX 10.0 or higher! I'm on a iMac OS X 10.6.7!
I was able to copy Safari 4.0.3 from my disc from when I purchased the computer, but it won't allow me to update at all to a higher version, stating the same reason!

The FamilyControls may be a Microsoft issue which could be why you are having problems with PowerPoint. You may need to update or upgrade your PowerPoint 2008 software to be compatible with 10.6.3. Check the Microsoft site.

It's probably telling you that you need 1.5 more GB than you have available. Hook up your device to iTunes on the computer you sync with and do the update from there. OTA updates require a lot more memory than ones done via iTunes.
