Some sound missing on BR

I have encore cs6. Successfully compiled BR, burned it, but some videos have no sound, despite them working in the encore timeline. One video part on my timeline does have sound, menus have sound. Nothing else does....

Okay, I haven't gotten any answers, but I have re-transcoded with no success. What I did do is took all the videos (which were adobe dynamic links to my Premier sequences), which had been all on the same timeline originally (I've always done my videos this way with no problems) and separated them onto different timelines based on the menus used. It's a play with an opening menu which directs to a second menu for the A cast, which directs to scene selection for this cast, or go straight to the production of cast A. Cast A with title sequence, edited play, and Cast A credits on one timeline coinciding with the Cast A menu. There is a Cast B menu and timeline that works exactly the same way, then a bonus feature menu, with 7 different sequences on the bonus timeline. All are tied together by button direction in the menus. When I produced the Blu-Ray in this way, I have all my sound back. Weird. I am about to burn the image to a disc. The files are fine when I mount the iso file and view the streams prior to burning the disc. I the problem I was having, the streams had no sound, even when I reburned the image 4 different times. I think this time will do it, based on my tests. I'll let you know if it didn't....

Some sounds missing in Windows 8.1

Hi...Some months ago, I downloaded an update for IDT High def codecs via Windows Update in Windows 8. . Soon thereafter, I noticed that some sounds in some games were missing. I rolled back the drivers and the sounds were working again. Now with Windows 8.1 these sounds are missing again because 8.1 comes standard with the updated drivers. I would like to install the previous drivers but don't know where to find them. Or, if there is a workaround, i would sure appreciate any help anyone can give me.

All text tones are available in General-Sounds. Some are missing via Contacts-Edit Contact.

I have confirmed that this issue is also present in the iPhones in the Apple store as of 28-April-2014. I told one of the guys in the Apple store about it and he said that the iPhones in the store have a custom version, so I asked him to check his own iPhone. He did, and the issue is present on his phone, so it's definintely a general IOS7 iPhone issue.
If you go to General -> Sounds -> Text Tone -> Classic, you can see all the classic text tones.
If you go to Contacts, select a contact, select Edit -> Text Tone -> select Classic, some are missing.
I used Choo Choo for one of my contacts while I was on IOS6 and when I switched to a new phone with IOS7 and performed a restore, their text tone changed to Tri-tone. I tried to change it back and saw it was not availble, so I figured they had taken it out of IOS7. Then I heard a friend's iPhone 5 on IOS 7 who had Choo Choo set up as their default. I investigated and saw that more Classic text tones were available via General.
Is there some logical reason why some text tones are not available for Contacts?

Do you maybe have your contacts separated into groups? If so, perhaps you have unchecked the group that the missing contact are in.
In the Contacts app, click the Groups button in the upper left corner. Make sure all groups have a check mark next to them.

Some sound from MBP others from Cinema Display

I have a MBP connected to a 24" Cinema Display and use with the lid closed.
While I have the Sound Preference set to Cinema Display, some sounds, new Mail for example, comes from the MBP speakers not the Cinema Display.
Is there a way to have all sounds, including such alerts, be played through the Cinema Display speakers.

I started making a movie and all was well. I added a few more pictures and some sound and played it back. It plays so far and then the pictures break up into colors and then the screen turns green. The sound continues.

Sorry, everyone. I think I may have figured out what it was all down to...........
I had left the IDE ribbon cable plugged into my third HDD, with the power cable unplugged. I did this so as not to endanger my years of work on the third drive, until Windows had setup. I have in the past, accidentally chosen the wrong partiton to format, so this seemed a good way to avoid it from then on.
This was not a problem on my old system, but it seems this system doesn't like it.
I must have left the drive completely unplugged, the times Windows did setup. Amazing really. I couldn't see the woods for the trees.
Anyway, I'm sorry to have bothered everyone with my problem.

I am using IDE drives until I can afford SATA. But many thanks for the heads-up on the NF4-SATA compliance, I'll be sure to bare that in mind.
I didn't actually check the NVRAID/IDE ROM version before updating the bios, so I have no idea if the revision was changed when Liveupdate flashed the Bios, I'm afraid. I didn't know they would be updated at the same time.

I miss the old format... Maybe I'm old and stubborn, but this new Apple forums format isn't growing on me - I'm finding it difficult to navigate. Is it possible to customize my view so that I see all of my unanswered questions, and perhaps some select forums? I had the same problem. It also caused some issues in CS3 with the selection tools.
Remove Nik software if it's present in your plugins folder. For me the specific folder that fixed it was named "penpalette." Once I deleted this the icons came back and the program worked much better and more smoothly.

I see that a LogOutputStream is created in the example
class RDBMSRealm, but where do all of the log
statements go. The LogOutputStream is created as:
log = new LogOutputStream("RDBMSRealm");
but I do not see and file called RDBMSRealm and/or
I do not see the log statements on stdout.
BTW, I do have logging set to the most detailed
level (Info) from the console if this matters.
Also, are there some JavaDocs missing from
Weblogic's Reference website at

I see java docs for a lot of classes, but what document do I use that
helps me to understand the entire framework? The Programming
Weblogic Security does give this information.
Example question: how do I get a reference to the realm to create
users? Should I even be doing this?

*Some Text Missing* Nokia 6288

Hey, whenever my mobile tries to receive large messages (I guess they're messages spanning over 160 characters?) I get the *some text missing* phrase along with the last part of the message (normally only a few characters/words).
I was just wondering if there's anything I can do to solve this? If I text the sender back telling them I only got half the text, as soon as they send a new 1 to me the first half of the original message arrives. Obviously this is a great hassle, and a waste of a text for me and the sender, is there any other way to combat this problem?

This happened when there's not enough memory left for the message that it receives. The main memory of the phone is always use in this process(it is shared with other program too); so to get multipage(span more that 160 chars) text messages successfully in which the latest Nokia phone models is capable of, one must free the main memory as much as possible. Transfer or archives your text message to external memory.
Service provider considered one text message if it does not exceed the 160 character limit. If it does, it considered it as a multi-text, and billed likeless. It send it in series of succession depending how busy the network.

Equium A100-306: built-in speakers do not play some sounds

I have had my A100-306 for 2 weeks, and my built-in speakers do not play some sounds. This problem has only arisen over the last few days. When I go through the control panel to speaker settings it says there is no speakers.
Can any one advise me as to what to do to fix this problem?

I think you should check several possibilities:
- connect the headphones and check if you can hear the sound through the headphones.
- Please check the device manger. Do you see any yellow exclamation marks???
Try to remove the sound card and remove the sound driver.
After new reboot try to reinstall the sound driver again.
- On the notebook the Realtek HD sound effect manager should be installed.
Please check there the settings.

You should be able to copy iTunes purchases back to your computer's iTunes via File > Transfer Purchases. For music purchased from other sites or copied from your own CDs then are they not already on your computer and/or on a backup ? If not then you will need to find a third-party program that can copy them off the iPod.
