Some suggestions

When editing a post if you click on the Preview button, then return to the editor using the browser's back button then the Post button in the editor screen is no longer functional. I believe returning to the editor via the browser's back button or the Return to Editor button should not affect the Post button - it should remain active.
Although the new editor provides convenient formatting buttons for bold, italics, and underline, it does not provide what would be other convenient options such as block quote or indent.
Currently you cannot delete your own unread posts as you could with the old software. Level 4s do not have a Notify button to use on messages.
If you subscribe to a thread, when you receive an email notification the email does not provide the text of the new post. Therefore, there is no way to know if the new post is addressed to you or another poster in the thread. You also have no info on the content, so you are forced to find the message within the thread.

They're trying to bring back Notify for L3s and above.
As for your other suggestions/bugs, we're trying to concentrate them in this thread so the admins can get everything at once.

    ah sorry, my intention was never to start a silly flame war. I am going to spend some time trying out tiling WM's other than Xmonad, It's kind of annoying since I'm forced to use win7 at work, and the contrast between work->home is quite large.
    If you like tiling, try the "plug.n" autohotkey script/app on your work windows box. Does a very good job - or at least as good as is possible.
    There is a limitation if you need to use stuff like VMs. But this is getting a bit OT, so i'll leave it at that .

    I am just asking this question to know a better way than what i am doing.
    I have a patient with 2 million rows in it.Is it possible to extract 2 million rows in a text file using UTL_FILE?.I need to extract each patient related data which comes from differnt tables (bigger than patient table) in a comma deleted file.For each patient id i have to query other tables and get the data related to that patient(according to the requirement).For that i need to call different functions against different tables.
    Some think like this..
    Create or replace procedure XXXX
    cursor -----> to get the patient id's
    variables ------> declare any other variables
    begin
    file handler for utl file to write into a file
    open cursor
    using bulk collect to fetch limited no of rows
    For each patient id loop
    data1 := function1
    data2 := function2

    My questions are:
    Is it OK to call differnt functions for each patient id (2 million patients) are there? is there any better way to do this.

    It would be strongly advisable to minimise your function calls here.
    What I would suggest is: writing one piece of SQL to be looped through with BULK COLLECT, so these:
    data1 := function1
    data2 := function2
    data3 := function3Will be taken care of in the main SQL. Otherwise things will be very, very slow.
    Therefore, something like this:

    DECLARE CURSOR c_all_data IS
                        SELECT -- put all your data to be retrieved in this SELECT, that will easily be the quickest and most efficient
                                     FROM tab1

    Hi all,
    I have some suggestions on JDev 10.1.3
    - WSDL: a BPEL project in JDev 10.1.2 automatically creates a .wsdl file with the same name of the .bpel file, even if a project already has its own wsdl documents (with different names). If you try to delete that wsdl file, JDev creates it again on the next restart.
    - Properties and Property Aliases: the designer (GUI) doesn't recognize properties if they aren't declared in "project_name"_Properties.wsdl document. While property aliased must be declared into the wsdl automatically generated by JDev (the one with the same name of the .bpel file). Besides, if aliases refer to another wsdl document, the targetNamespace of that wsdl document is imported in the wsdl file "project_name".wsdl. You can compile every kind of project, but you can't see properties or property aliases in the Structure Toolbar if they aren't in the proper wsdl file.
    -Suggestion: why don't you manage the files of a project like Eclipse? In Eclipse you can add, cut, paste, copy, delete files of every kind just with right click on them in the Navigator Toolbar or through drag&drop from/to Windows File-Manager.
    I hope these suggestions might be useful for the next release of JDev.

    We generaly use subsequent debit / credit to adjust invoice value without affecting Qty
    Pls check notes supplied by SAP
    A subsequent debit/credit arises if a transaction has already been settled, and a further invoice or credit memo is received afterwards.
    A subsequent debit/credit changes the total invoice value of a purchase order item; the total invoice quantity remains unchanged. Therefore, only a value-based update of the purchasing transaction takes place. There is no quantity-based update.
    You must enter an invoice as a subsequent debit if a purchase order item has already been invoiced and further costs are incurred. (Example: A vendor has inadvertently invoiced you at too low a price and then sends a second invoice for the difference.)
    You must enter a credit memo as a subsequent credit if a purchase order item was invoiced at too high a price and now you have received a credit memo. (Example: A vendor has inadvertently invoiced you at too high a price and then sends a credit memo for the difference.)
    If you enter a subsequent debit/credit, the system suggests the entire invoiced quantity, but no value. The maximum quantity that you can subsequently debit or credit is the quantity that has already been invoiced.
    You can only enter a subsequent debit/credit for a purchase order item if an invoice has already been posted for that item.
    A subsequent debit/credit cannot refer to a particular invoice.
    Subsequent debits and credits are listed separately in the PO history
    Typical example is like
    suppose vendor has overcharged u for perticular PO and afterward he want to correct it
    In such scenario u can post subsequent debit to correct PO without affecting Qty. field

    there is a MS. Excel file whose file name is database size estimator. The file is used to calculate the database size, growth per year and also it is useful to use before buy server and its component, I mean before installation.
    I use the file before implementing SAP B1 in a certain company that have 150,000 items and 30 whses. It is okay until present and the database still run smooth

  • Some suggestion of Applet and JSObject

    Hi all,
    I have a problem in writing an applet to communicate with JSObject in my project. Please give some advises. The html page - a.html has an applet called a.class. Now, a.class need to display a new html page called b.html. b.html has a form and need to get the user response. Then, after user clicked submit button, applet a.class need to get back the response, supposed in string from b.html. And a.class need to process sth on the response.
    I have go through the forum, I think JSObject can help me in solving problem. And now I success to use document.write in displaying b.html. But don't know how to use a.class to get back user response and do some process on it. Anyone can help me?

    The decision of whether to use CLDC or CDC is made for you by the device you are programming for. If you want to write an application for a particular smartphone then you have to find out what configuration it is running and as far as I know all smartphones (no matter how powerful) will be running CLDC. The CDC is aimed at things like set-top boxes for televisions and other such devices that run from mains power for example.
    Within CLDC there are 2 versions, 1.0 and 1.1 and again the choice of which one to use comes from the device you are aiming for. The same for MIDP, which has version 1.0 and 2.0. As an example I am developing an application for a Nokia N95 and I know from the phone documentation that it is running CLDC 1.1 and MIDP 2.0.
    I've never looked at CDC to be able to tell you the differences but if you are starting development of a mobile phone application then you will want to look at CLDC/MIDP and you should never have to worry about getting it to work on a CDC emulator because you will never need to do that.

  • I need some suggestions on what type of dock to buy for my iPod Touch 4 that would be combatable with it.

    I use to have a JBL dock for my iPod Touch 4 but it no longer works with it.  I seem to be having some problems finding a dock that would work with a iPod Touch 4.   All I want is a good dock with stereo sound and that is chargable and would also have an adaptor so I won't have to use batteries but one with batteries will do if that's all I can find.  I don't need one that has a radio and a clock with it.  One that probably doesn't go over 100.00.  Would like some suggestions from anyone please?   Thanks.

    Hi,
    BAPI is nothing but a function module and also RFC enabled. So u can call that fm from outside SAP. U can call that BAPI using some logic or u can make hardcoding the parameters, its depends mainly on ur requirement.

    Hi,i'm gonna upgrade my satellite P20-S203 'cause i've got now an unespected budget of 500 euro.
    I just would like to have some suggestions.
    First of all: is it mad to think changing the motherboard?And if it doesn't sound too crazy,which one(Obviously from toshiba,as it has to fit perfectly with all the rest of the equipement,or if you know any other name that would still fit good into the notebook...).
    Second,a REAL sound card,with externals line in & out(yes i do play guitar... :-))),any suggestion is welcome,even if i've got already some names in my mind.
    Third,a wireless card,as this model has got a dedicated place...my thought woul be obviously for a toshiba one,what you think?would i have any problem if i chose the 100 Mbit/s one?
    That's it,i hope you'll help me decide...any personal experience on the upgrade of this model is really welcome.

    Hello Nerd,
    you only can upgrade a few things on a notebook, like memory or HDD. A notebook is not a desktop. The most components are specially designed for one model and they don't fit in any other model.
    So I'm sorry to say that you can't upgrade your motherboard and sound card.
    But you can put a wireless card in your laptop.

    The best way is to buy it from a Toshiba service partner. There you get the right card.

    Please give me  some suggestions on the process that i am doing.
    I have to send some data daily in a flat file to a third party vendor.
    The data that i am extracting to a flat file comes from "differnt tables".
    I have a PL/SQL proc which does all the logic and extract to a flat file.
    As per third party vendor requirement we have to send one full file
    (all the data in our database or tables) and after that changes only file
    (records that got modified and New Records).we have Date_modified column
    in every table to see whether that records got modified or not.
    we need something to track what records we are sending
    they dont want to depend only on that "date_modified" column.
    they want to create a separate table to keep track all records that we are
    sending to vendor.
    Process:
    First day: Insert all the records to a ---> log table(for tracking) with
               SEND_REC = 'Y' (there is a column "SEND_REC" that says whether
               to send that record or not) ----> send all the records from the
               log table that has SEND_REC is "Y"
    second day: compare the existing records with log table records --->if
                there is any change update the log table
                and for new records insert into log table --->
                send the records from log table that has "SEND_REC" is
                "Y"
    thrid day:  same as second day..
    Is there any better way to do it? Please post how do you handle this type
    of scenarios ?
