Some Upgrade Suggestions for the iPhone
I just got 8GB iPhone and am loving it, especially the web browsing capability. My experience would be even better if the iPhone had the following features: 1) a search function equivalent to spotlight in the iMac's (the lack of it seems a major oversight to me - perhaps one reason why business users may not be willing to part with their treo's just yet), 2)ability to tag individual records in calendar or contact list as hidden (this will enhance protection of confidential information beyond - by the way the Treo has that capability too), 3)ability to synch smart groups on the desktop address book. Hopefully Apple will address these issues in upcoming software updates.

With the new upgrade to iOS 7 for the iPhone, is there anyway to change the color background on the calendar?
There are, however, lots of calendar apps in the App Store. They will used th same data as th built in app and sync just the same way. Many of them are quite customizable or, at least have different backgrounds. Some that I like are Week Cal, Fantastical, Cal, Tempo.

Can i use my husbands upgrade for the iphone 6 promotion
My line is technically not eligible for upgrade, but my husbands line is (we are on a family plan with my mom). Last time I upgraded, they let me use my husbands upgrade since his was available. Can I do this for the iphone 6 promotion or will they not allow it?

I'll be waiting in line for the iPhone 5 tonight and would like to upgrade my phone as well as my two daughters phones tomorrow, all of which are eligible for upgrade. Will I be aloud to purchase 3 iPhones at once tomorrow or is it one per customer?
The only place you can find out for sure is from AT&T. Eligibility also depends on how much the family member is spending on their phone and how long they've had it. Added family members typically are paying much less than the primary account holder, and this if factored in.
To find out, log onto your AT&T account and click "Check Upgrade Options." -

Yep, me to exactly the same problem, the error message keeps telling me to check my internet connection or try later. Nothing wrong with my internet connection. Is it an apple server problem?

I would like to make a suggestion for the next iso itunes software update for the iphone 4-4s. Include a serperate treble and bass switch for the ipod on the iphone. What to you people out there think about this?

Has anyone found any glow-in-the-dark earbuds (with mic) for the iPhone? I'm looking for some that glow or light up so they can be seen when I walk in the dark.
In a roaming network, your "main" router is the device that would require port mapping/forwarding to be configured in order to access the IP camera from the Internet. This router is also the one that would be provide the private IP address for the camera which you will want to be a static one.
So as you described your network, the IP cameras should be getting an IP address or you assigned it a static one and this is the address that you would enter in the Private IP address (or equivalent depending on the router used) field when setting up port mapping.
If you are not able to access this camera from the local network, then this should be troubleshot first. -
Hi Apple friends, my question is regarding, the last iOS 6.1 upgrade, why it include the LTE 4G to the iPad4 and iPad Mini with Telcel in Mexcio, and Why it was not for the iPhone 5?, when Apple will enable this feature LTE 4G on the Iphone5 to Telcel?
And Apple won't tell you. All they will tell you is what countries are supported for LTE right now. You can express your interest to Apple via their feedback pages, if you wish:

but you will not receive a reply. It may be waiting on Telcel to approve. They may not feel that their LTE network is robust enough to handle that much load yet. But I'm just guessing. We'll just have to wait and see what develops.

Sometimes the text fields automatically get locked. please check whether the fields are locked, if so unlock the text fields.

I started to have connectivity issues with a linksys router. The linksys rep suggested ...Check from Apple if they have some particular ports for the Apple TV that we might need to open on the router, anyone have any suggestions for this?

Just updated to new iOS 6 on iPhone 3G. Get 'can't connect to iTunes' message. Tried the setting date and time trick but still no success. Any suggestions for 3G iPhone?
also must mention i have never had trouble that i couldn't fix on itunes but all of this has started since i have been using icloud for basic backups hope this helps solve problem

I cannot sync my iphone to my macbook since the highest software upgrade on it is 10.5.8. I cannot upgrade to the min. software necessary to upgrade to the itunes version that I need for the iphone 5! Please help!
The iPhone 5 requires iTunes 10.7 or later and iTunes 10.7 requires OS X Snow Leopard (10.6.8). If your profile is correct it looks like you need to update your OS X on you Mac. You can contact Apple and purchase the software from them.
