Some users complain they can't purchase my app on App Store

On Saturday I received several complaints from users who said they can't purchase the paid version of my app on App Store. When they trie to buy they get an error message saying the app is currently being modified and cannot be purchased. Also the download figures for Saturday were unusually low, then on Sunday they were back to normal more or less. I thought the problem had disappeared but now got another email complaint about this.
Has anyone had this happen to them and has any suggestions? By the way on Friday I changed the price of the app for the first time and the change took a long time to go into effect on the U.S. App Store, so maybe the problem is related. And yesterday I made a small change to the metadata - but in the past I've had no indication that this causes any problems.

We are fellow users here on these forums, if you are getting a message to contact iTunes Support then only they can potentially fix it. You've tried logging out and back into your account on your since they said that it should be fixed ?

    Welcome to the community.
    Unfortunately, you cannot do that. The first hurdle that you are going to face, is that mobile devices, by virtue of being prone to loss, will always require that a password is entered before a purchase of any kind is made.
    If your concern about the password, is related to your privacy in regard to your mail, contacts and calendar information rather than their acces to make purchases, then the best solution would be for you to use another Apple ID for iCloud.
    Apple have called the whole cloud thing iCloud, there are a number of features under the iCloud umbrella, some of which require their own login. iTunes is one of these, another is what Apple have unfortunately also called iCloud too.
    You can use the same Apple ID (account) to login to both iCloud and iTunes, but you don't need to and often users will login to each service using a different ID.
    The part that you need to remember is that the services available when you log into iCloud are completely different and unrelated to those when you log in to iTunes. Your iCloud login enables mail, contacts, calendars, find my phone, Back to My Mac, Documents & Data sharing and photostream, it does not affect any of your iTunes services.

    Command-P (Print)
    In the Print dialogue, click the PDF button at lower left, choose Mail PDF
    The result should be a new email document with the pdf file attached.
    Address and send.
    The procedure applies to any document which may be printed, not just Pages documents.

    both of you should delete each other as a contact in your BBM app.
    Reboot both devices.
    Then. one of you send a BBM invite to the other and try again.

    What type of item is it ? What you can re-download will show under the Purchased link under Quick Links on the right-hand side of the iTunes store home page on your computer's iTunes. As long as they are still in the store then your apps and ibooks should appear there, and potentially music, films and tv shows (media can't be re-downloaded in all countries) - audiobooks and ringtones are currently one-time only downloads, so they won't appear.
    If they don't show then have you still got copies of the items somewhere e.g. on your old computer (copying between computers) or on a backup of your downloads ?

    I've been having this problem for weeks and have found no solution to it. There are lots of other people with this issue too if you look back on the boards. I even e-mailed AND called Apple and have had no luck. I tried all the suggestions they gave me and all the ones I found on here- nothing worked. I even uninstalled and re-installed iTunes (boy was that a pain!) and no difference.
    The weird part is that I have an old laptop that works and if I buy music with the laptop I can download it with my regular computer buy buying does not work on my regular computer. That tells me it's not a connection issue. I can't get to my account either.
    I can't figure out why an issue that has kept so many people from purchasing a product has been ignored!

    How can I purchase products from the app store while travelling outside my country of residence? We are from Canada, travelling in the USA and wish to buy a TV series but get a message to buy it from the Canadian store. When we tried to do this we got the same message.

    According to the terms of sale, you have to be in your country of residence in order to make a purchase. I've heard of people able to make purchases outside their country and also of people being unable to do so. It appears that Apple's enforcement is not 100%.
    In order to buy from the U.S. iTunes Store, you would need to have a valid billing address in the U.S., a credit card billed to that address or an iTunes Gift card purchased in the U.S. and be physically present in the U.S. at the time of purchase.
    International copyright law is currently very inconvenient for the consumer.

    Either that or you can just buy an iTunes card and put it on the account. I've have itunes account for a long time so maybe this plays a part in it but I don't have a CC tied to my account. I have the option to choose "none" and that's what I have it as. I used to have a card on there years ago but I removed it and never had to have another on it. Any purchases I make come from iTunes credits (iTunes card or credits I got from redeeming rewards).
