Some website's which i have never visited before randomly open in a new tab. this causes the mouse image to flicker. How do I block these sites from opening?

This is an example of one of the sites that pops up in a new tab without me having visited it before wanting it to open causing the mouse image to flicker.

Do a malware check with some malware scanning programs on the Windows computer. 
You need to scan with all programs because each program detects different malware. 
Make sure that you update each program to get the latest version of their databases before doing a scan.

I'll definitely be updating my browser as well. However, Lawrence, I did find during my research that bluecava DOES NOT operate based on cookies. It uses your IP address to consistently track patterns of behavior, even
within multiple devices of one household, so that deterring the tracking is not as simple as turning off cookies to a site. (See screenshot below from bluecava.com)
If you go to the bluecava site's privacy policy, you can actually opt-out, however, blogs have criticized bluecava for not explaining exactly what happens when a user opts-out. It may be beyond our control...

I am having serious issuse trying to open websites or links which i have never had before

I am having serious issues trying to open websites/pages or links which i have never had before. For instance when i open Firefox and my tabs start to load, sites such as Yahoo, Gamespot or Fox News struggle to open (these are just an example of a wider picture) Other times Firefox just freezes either for Minutes on end or completely until it either crashes or i have to task manage out of it. Firefox has total privelages through both my antivirus software and the in built Microsoft firewall. I never used to have this problem and speaking to some friends some of them are experienceing the same thing and due to the lack of help from Firefox have reverted to using Explorer. I do not recieve any error messages or messages stating there are problems with any of the sites that struggle or fail to open. I have tried disabling all add-ons and starting Firefox in save mode but no luck. I have also tried to change the settings in Options / Privacy - History from Remeber History to Use custom settings for history but this just keeps reverting back to original setting. Any help would be greatly appreciated as i don't want to return to using Windows Explorer.

FF4 has problems with script-heavy sites. There are two solutions:
1) Downgrade to 3.6

2) Use a different broser

The tabs I have open show as new tabs rather than the websites I had opened.

I have a large number of tabs open in a window, and when I hit "restore previous session" to open them, they are shown as "new tab" rather than the websites I had opened. Prior to the previous two updates, I had no problem with this, but now it's a recurring issue on Firefox.

Make sure that the history and possibly the disk cache are working.
Do you see the history in the History Manager (Library; Show All History)?

When firefox launched and kept open, automatically opens multiple sessions for ads and pornography which I have never visited. sessions hide in legitimate ones

I use firefox exclusively. I open many sessions simultaneously mostly one site per session in a single tab. At times during the day when I keep firefox open, I will return to a previous site/session and before I am able to see it, I am getting browser 'pop-ups' of ads for TJ MAxx (a site I never visit) and hard-core porno (a site i never visit and not part of my browsing demographic). These are completely random and hide behind legitimate browsing sessions and are not listed in history etc. They are not being removed by adware or Norton and they are driving me nuts not to mention the embarassment of trying to launch a legitimate site and getting disgusting porno in your face while working with colleagues. Please help!

It's asking you to create a passcode. You can turn it off later if you wish.

When I open up a new tab on firefox, the bar shows that the tab is there, but when I click on it, it is the same page as what I have before. When I try to change the page on the "new tab" the original tab changes. Why does this happen and how do I fix it?

This problem is even occuring as I type this information. I tried to click a "show details" button and it didn't work. The tab "opened" but I couldn't get the page to switch to the tab after clicking on it.

Details as noted above in my question. The reason I have to zoom in twice is that the page is shrunk and the pic's and words are hard to see. This improves when I zoom in twice.

The Firefox Page Zoom feature does a domain by domain level of saving the users preferred zoom level settings, there is no default Page Zoom level setting in Firefox.

And secondly, you can have variables of type int and variables of type Integer. What is the difference?Integer is a wrapper class for the primitive int type. It allows you to use int-type concepts in places where an Object is required. But don't over-use these as there is a memory and performance overhead that must be taken into consideration.
