Some wiki pages cannot be accessed

hi,
i'm trying to access the follwing page http://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/NAT'ing_firewall_-_Share_your_broadband_connection but it looks like there's something wrong with URLs having an apostrophe. or is it just me ??

problematic pages such as XXX can be accessed via http://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php?title=XXX
i hope this issue'll get solved quickly.

I keep getting "Reminders" that some web page cannot be opened, even when I'm not online or on the Internet, and I'd like to stop it.

For days now, a "Reminder" box pops up on my screen every few minutes. It's followed by whatever the date is. It always says that a Web page cannot be opened and to try various things, even though I'm not online or trying to open any page. I can get rid of it by opening the task manager (control, alt, delete), but it comes back in a few minutes. I tried "System Restore" but that's not working, for an unrelated reason. I'd like to stop this annoying reminder. Thanks.

Might be spyware or adware. You could try scanning for that and remove spyware if you find any.

After upgrading wikis to OSX, some wikis page have "updating page" keep going and never end

This is the screw I have that keep going on and not allow me to edit or access the page. I have upgraded from OS Snow Leopard server to OS X server and migrate the Wikis over.

Anyone can help?

Certain web pages cannot be accessed with Satellite Pro 4600

Installed a new hard drive and Windows 2000 in my laptop and now have a bizarre problem.
Both Ie6 and Firefox can get to some websites e.g. Google (which I can search on and get results), some UK & US sites, toshiba support page etc. but I can't get to ebay, bbc, most other sites etc - they time out.
Anybody any ideas on what setting is interfering with my both my web browsers? - Heather

ok, try this:
for testing, remove ANY 3rd party software from your machine and check if you have the same error. If not, then install one application (e.g. just Zonealarm) and check if the error comes back.
If you notice that the error returns by installing a certain application then you probably know which is the misdemeanant.
Or a maybe a combination of these apps cause the error you described.

Page cannot be dispalyed errors on apex 3.0

Hi,
We had an application express 3.0 envirnoment and today morning we encountered the page cannot be displayed errors which accessing the page.When i stop and start the http server,we can access the pages for 15 min but again after that the page cannot be accessed errors are occuring.Can anyone help in identifying the errors that associated with this issue

Cannot display Access Control Rules page --- BUG REPORT

iWS 4.1sp9 on Linux Admin GUI cannot display Access Control Rules page for Netscape browsers 4.7 and 6.2 or for IE 4.
It does work for IE 5.5 (running this in Vmware).
I'm reporting this bug here as I can't see anywhere else to put it.

It could be a firmware bug, or it could be something else bugging out. If the router hasn't been factory reset and it's been through a few firmware upgrades, try resetting it to factory defaults. Take note of any custom settings you have, so you can go in and manually re-configure the router. I would avoid importing a backed up config file in case the config turns out to be the problem, but it doesn't hurt to download a copy of your config now.
Give that a try. Others might have some more ideas.

Pages cannot access iPhoto library

I am trying to exchange a picture in a Pages document via the right hand format menu:
When I do this, Pages tries to access iPhoto and comes up with this window:
It says it cannot access the server of the iMac of my partner, however, I am not trying to access her iMac. I just want to use pictures from my own iPhoto library.

The document has been created by me. However, some of the pictures in my iPhoto library are originally from my partner. I imported them earlier in my iPhoto.
The error happens when I want to replace a photo in the pages document using the format section on the right:
Then the iPhoto library does not open, and an error window pops up:
Translated, this means "Error upon connecting with the server "Brigitte Behrs iMac".

Cannot edit wiki pages-- Exception message: Invalid field name

We have migrated from one Sharepoint 2010 environment to another Sharepoint 2010 environment and only wanted to preserve a few sites, mostly Enterprise Wiki Sites.
We have imported 5 total Enterprise Wiki Sites, all of which point to particular Term Sets in Managed Metadata.
2 wikis are pointed to term set A, 2 wikis are pointed to term set B and one wiki is pointed to term set C.
One of the wikis pointed to term set A is working, and one is not
The malfunctioning wiki has the following symptom:
Whenever you try to edit a page (new or existing) and save your changes, regardless of whether it is tagged, you cannot save your changes. When you try, you get the error below.

To me, it looks like there is an invalid URL, since it gives the URL path, and then there is a space, and then it also has a relative URL to /wiki/adminwiki/pages ...is this normal?
Any ideas on how to fix this is great. I don't think it has anything to do with the Managed Metadata service or the Term Store since the other wiki site (pointing to the same exact Term Set) is working normally with no problems.

To solve the problem make sure that the template you are using for the current page (with errors) has the same content type as the page. In example of the Enterprise Wiki page, I forgot to set the content type to an Enterprise Wiki page on a custom page
template I just added to the Master pages.
So what I had to do is:
go to properties of the page with errors described above and set it to be
Enterprise Wiki page
go to master pages and set the custom template to be of the same type, Enterprise Wiki page
That solved the problem

I have a requirement to restrict the access of "InPlaceRecordsListSettings.aspx" and "InPlaceRecordsSettings.aspx" pages for some of the users and allow the access for some of the users.
I have applied the below code on the web.config file but this modification impacting only on the web application level not on the site collection and sub site level.

Please suggest the possible solution to restrict the access of "InPlaceRecordsListSettings.aspx" and "InPlaceRecordsSettings.aspx" pages on SharePoint2013.

You can't do it from OOTB.
_layout folder is accessible to the users if they have read access in any of the site even subsite.
You can modify *.aspx file, add your custom control which will check user.

It is a Total Misconception that the Support files are installed when you are installing Windows, even if the USB drive that holds them is inserted in the system when doing the Windows install.
You must always Run the Setup.exe files from the support files or run the drivers individually once Windows has finished installing and booted to the desktop.
Also you really need to run the Boot Camp Control Panel Applet and check for updates as not all the newest drivers for full function of all the hardware is included with the original support download. That download is basically a generic version to get the system working and without doing the updates not everything will work properly.

Page cannot be displayed error while accessing links on DAS page

I have installed SSO server along with DAS on a single m/c. While installing i gave OID instance hostname and password. After installation when i access the DAS homepage and click on Login or Myprofile url is is throwing Page cannot be displayed error page
i found following in the Apache\logs\error.log
[Wed Nov 23 10:28:26 2005] [error] [client 198.186.43.113] [ecid: 1132759706:198.186.43.113:2408:2136:6,0] MOD_OC4J_0376: Request initial processing failed in ac worker with HTTP status code 1. This status will be passed back to the listener for error handling.
I checked OC4J_SECURITY and HTTP_Server status. They are up and running. OID is also running.
Any solution for this problem?

I once faced a similar problem - I am not sure if the issues are related, but here goes :
I figured out that DAS uses mod_osso to connect to the SSO Server. I hadn't configured mod_osso to correctly talk to the SSO Server. I used the ssoreg.sh script in the $ORACLE_HOME/sso/bin to make the mod_osso " talk " to the SSO Server.
After this, the DAS started working properly.
BTW, what's your AS instance version ?

We have a Web Dynpro application on SAP Enterprise portal that are being hosted by our SSL-VPN (Citrix Netscaler) but when we try accessing our Web Dynpro to our Safari Ipod it pop-up page cannot be displayed. But when accessing it to a normal browser all the pop-ups are accessible and working.
