Somebody please put me out of my misery and solve this problem

Somebody please help me
After updating to is05 I can no longer purchase or update apps on my iPhone 4 and iPad 2 error message "iTuness store could not process you request, please try again later" and " cannot connect to iTunes store " I can purchase apps using my laptop and sync to both which works fine but not directly through my iPhone or iPad. I have tried updating iTunes account re syncing as instructed by apple support over the phone but still no joy.
There is nothing wrong with my Internet connection
I can purchase apps through my windows laptop and sync to iPhone and iPad which works
My partner can purchase apps using her ID on my iPad and iphone which works
ITunes will not let me verify my account information even though it's all correct, apple support have emailed me to say they have checked my account information and everything looks ok and is verified, but to be honest they haven't been much help they keep trying to say its a Internet connection fault when clearly its not
does anyone have any other ideas as to what it might be

Do a device reset as outlined below. This will clear the message and allow you to use your device again.
Device Reset (won't affect settings/data/music/apps/etc)
1. Press and hold (& continue to hold) BOTH the Sleep/Wake button & the Home button.
2. Continue to hold BOTH (ignoring any other messages that may show) until you see the Apple logo on the screen.
3. Release BOTH buttons when you see the Apple logo and allow the device to boot normally.

This year, the government has canceled the daylight saving time , that's why happening this problem to me so I changed the time zone in iPhone from Cairo,Egypt (GMT+2 with daylight saving) to Harare,Zimbabwe (GMT+2 without daylight saving , no change in time from summer & winter) & now working good, no change in time after sync. , But it's very stupid thing from apple that they didn't add an option in time setting to enable or disable the daylight saving time like any other mobile.

Try resetting the PRAM (if you are able to do so).
Otherwise, I would take it in for diagnosis.

If Apple's service database says that your iPhone was replaced, then Apple will no longer provide any service for that phone.
First, get a new SIM from your cell carrier and see if that corrects the problem. If it does not, try the usual steps for addressing software problems: restart, reset, restore.

If you try restoring from a backup and that doesn't fix the problem, try restoring to factory settings and, if the problem goes away, then sync back your apps and content. If none of that helps, your device may have developed a hardware fault. Again, Apple will provide no service for it, so you will need to pay some independent repair shop to fix your iPhone.

Please test after taking each of the following steps that you haven't already tried. Stop when the problem is resolved. Back up all data before making any changes.
Step 1
Take the applicable steps in this support article. The Wireless Diagnostics program generates a large file of information about your system, which would be used by Apple Engineering in case of a support incident. Don't post the contents here.
Step 2
Disconnect all USB 3 devices. If you don't know which are USB 3, disconnect all USB devices except keyboard and mouse.
Step 3
If you're not using a wireless keyboard or trackpad, disable Bluetooth by selecting Turn Bluetooth Off from the menu with the Bluetooth icon. If you don't have that menu, open the Bluetooth preference pane in System Preferences and check the box marked Show Bluetooth in menu bar. Test. If you find that Wi-Fi works better with Bluetooth disabled, you should use the 5 GHz Wi-Fi band. Your router may not support it; in that case, you need a new router.

Nope
One needs to press the home and sleep / wake keys together for the phone to reset
The other thing I could recommend
Let the battery run out and the phone completely "die"
It may take a day or two with it not being used
Then plug it in to charge and see if there is any change in behavior
If you cannot get this to work - you may need to bring it to an Apple store

You need to ask Apple to reset your security questions; ways of contacting them include phoning AppleCare and asking for the Account Security team, clicking here and picking a method for your country, and filling out and submitting this form.
They wouldn't be security questions if they could be bypassed without Apple verifying your identity.

Ok, so I just worked out that itunes communicates through your browser so it's a cookie in the browser not PC direct that fixes this. Bit of a convoluted route but for me it was IE>Internet setting>privacy>sites, then allow all activity from apple.com/itunes.

Content and Apple IDs -
Content is forever tied to the Apple ID that bought it. Apple does not transfer content from one Apple ID to another. Apple does not merge Apple IDs. You will never be able to access your content bought with one Apple ID with a new Apple ID.

As far as trying to power up your device, make sure it has a good charge and then hold the button on the top of the phone and the home button on the faceplate together until the apple appears on the screen.
