Somehow a third party tried to remotely take control of my mouse!

I have an iMac (10.6.8). Today someone tried to take control of my mouse to open Finder, a youtube downloader program, etc. I caught this happening both times and fought for control of the mouse until I ultimately had to put the iMac to sleep to prevent them from getting into anything personal, etc.
Following the first round, I changed my password to my imac and macbook, made sure the firewall was set up, disabled making either discoverable via bluetooth, and somehow it happened AGAIN. For a final test, to see if this happens a third time, I disabled the remote control infrared receiver.
Can someone tell me what the BLEEP is going on (outside of the fact that someone has managed to gain remotely access to my computer) and what I can do to stop it. I am in teh process of compressing my files and moving them off the imac and doing a full system reinstall to set it back to factory settings when i first got it and see if that does the trick. I am very careful about what I download so I dont think it was anything like that (mainly because I use my iphone for email)
Ideas? Thoughts? Suggestions?

Support for Third Party Apps when they take your money and don't respond

Does Blackberry App do anything about third party apps that take your money and then don't give you what you paid for or respond? I paid $4.99 for Jeweled game from getempower, it downloaded and worked a bit, then it said I needed to Register. When I clicked Register, nothing happened, it just said "checking registriation" forever. I clicked on the Support Email provided and it returned an error saying "We get too much spam so you can't email us anymore, so please go to our website for support." So I went to the website www.getempower.com, and got to the Support form and filled it out, and it said "you cannot submit form until you choose the app" but when I tried to choose the app it wouldn't let me. I can't see anywhere else on the web page to contact them. So I paid for the game but it won't let me get to it. I looked at the reviews and it looks like several other people have had this same problem. I guess I thought buying something through App World would be trustworthy - App World, do you stand behind the vendors you allow to sell on your site?

Firstly, as a user-to-user community, no one here can answer your question with any level of authority whatsoever. This site is not a channel for any formal communications with RIM. All support starts with the carriers, authorized resellers, and authorized service centers, all who can escalate cases into RIM at no charge to the end user...and that is the required path for formal support for issues such as yours (including requests for refund, if you choose to go that route). So, your escalation path is not here, in these forums.
But, have you tried removing and resinstalling the app? And/or clearing the AppWorld cache?

A third party plug-in disappears after a localization patch installation

I have a third party plug-in installed for PhotoShop CS3.
The third party plug-in disappears after installation of a localization
patch. I tried reinstalling the plug-in, but that does not work.
It appears that after the patch is installed, tw10428.dat maps
the English texts on the menu to Korean.
"$$$/Menu/Help/AboutPhotoshop=Photoshop 정보(&A)..."
"$$$/Menu/Help/AboutPlugin=플러그-인 정보(&B)"
"$$$/Menu/Help/Contents=Photoshop 도움말(&H)..."

And somehow, the third party plug-in disappears because it's not mapped
in the .dat file. I tried manually editing the file and to input
entries for the third party tool and that does not seem to work.
Do you know how I can resolve this issue?

The plug-in was working fine before the patch. The patch
is just an executable which I ran after I closed Photoshop.
There wasn't any error message and the instance of Photoshop
works fine when I re-run it other than the fact that the plug-in
is no longer in the menu.

PO Conditions from SO conditions in Third party

In third party, I want to take PO Price as SO price - some value which i give in PO conditions. How can i do this by using any user-exit.
Can u plz explain, how can we catch a suitable user-exit and use (in general)?

I think, you can achieve this in standard...You might need to check the configuration of the condition type in M/06
within the configuration screen for condition type (say PB00), assign reference condition type (V_T685A-RKSCHL) (PR00)and application (V_T685A-RKAPPL) (V).
What it means? -
The pricing condition type PB00 in purchasing acquires value from pricing condition PR00 of Sales.

Schdule line in the Third party SO

Hi there is an issue with the Third party SO which we are creating.
Please note: We are creating the THird party SO with respect to a quotation.
However while creating the SO with ref to Quot. the system is automatically increasing the schedule line date by 1 day.
ie. For ex. if the reqd delivery date in the quotation was x. In the SO the system is confirming a scedule line with X+1 date.
I looked at setting of shipping point (no pick/pack time), SO doc type, route.
There is no extra day mentioned for backward scheduling.
So if I mention the reqd del date as today (by default), the system does a backward scheduling. Since there is no material on the material avaliability date (ie. today)...why does it forward schedules it for tomorrow by default??
So I do not understand why the schedule line is advanced by 1 day.
In a third party scenario, It unncessarily takes me to the Availibility screen and asks me to confirm the next day date.

this time is picked from PIR (purchase info record ) in this record u maintina in how many days vendor is going to deliver the goods.....may be this field is making your avial check ......check it out

Third party SFP optics on a ONS15216 DWDM Mux solution

We have an existing DWDM network utilising 15216-SC-4B band splitters and 15216-FLA-8 8 port Mux filters. The devices connected to the filters already are an ONS15454 with MXP_MR_10DME and some 10GE Xenpaks in 6509s.
We need to connect in some Brocade SAN Switches as these are the only ones supported for a Netapp metrocluster solution. We have two options for this:-
1. Purchase 6 x MXP_MR_10DME cards at great expense
2. Add another pair of 8 port MUXs on the next available band and use third pary SFPs that are supported in the Brocade. Smartoptics make a 4Gb FC DWDM 100Ghz SFP which is ITU-T standard. Is there any reason I cannot patch these Smartoptics SFPs through a Cisco 15216-FLA-8 mux? Will this be supported?

If I am not wrong ur network is like cisco network- Third party network.
If the problem is related to errors etc I think u can figure out where the problem is and either cisco/third party then have to take care to the problem.
Only problem I see is when optics goes bad. It can be bad of any fault in that equipment or by other equipment. Sometimes power level can go up to a level not accepted by receiver

Sorry, but we cannot help you with jailbroken iPhones in this forum. You will probably need to go back to this "third party" who jailbroke your iPhone and ask for assistance.
Note that even if you can get the iPhone restored, that will almost certainly remove the unlock. Only if an iPhone is offically unlocked by the cell carrier can you restore or upgrade the operating system and have the iPhone remain unlocked.

2.3 Update: Problem with AppleTV learning third-party remote

I'm trying to set up my third party remote (DirecTV HR21) after updating to 2.3. It all starts well; I go to Settings -> General -> Remotes -> Learn Remote, but I am having an issue when I am making my Apple TV learn the second key (down arrow); I get the error message "apple tv has already learned this button". It's as if the Apple TV thinks the 'up arrow' and the 'down arrow' on my remote are the same key. I tried several times, to no avail.
Anyone else having this issue?

I'm experiencing the same problem with the current DirecTV remote not being able to learn more than the first button prompted to enter (arrow-down). The error message "appletv has already learned this button" appears when attempting to enter the second button prompted (arrow-up). Furthermore, I have attempted configuration on two separate DirecTV HR21 remotes in both AV1 and AV2 modes.
Come on Apple -- don't tease us! Testing wasn't done to make sure AppleTV can learn to respond to a current DirecTV remote? Yikes. I wonder what 3rd-party remotes were tested and confirmed to work.

Third party remote won't turn off Apple TV

I've set up a third party remote (Yamaha HTR-5740) and everything works great except I can't turn off Apple TV with the third party remote. I have to use the Apple TV remote. I can turn it on with the third party remote by pushing play, but not off. I can hold down play, pause, and stop, and nothing. Even tried holding down play and pause together. Any suggestions? Did latest iPhone update and now non of my third party apps work. They open then close immediately. I tried to restore but can't as my iphone wont sync with itunes now and I will loose my apps. Also my largest app "Sat Nav" has gone. Help ??

I have run into problems with my iPhone 4. I hadn't done an update for a while so decided to get my itunes and iphone 4 up to date. I downloaded all the latest versions. However now non of my third party apps work and my largest one has vanished. I try and open them and they flash up and then close again. I thought the easiest thing to do was to restore so I tried to syn my apps onto itunes so I wouldn't loose them. However it won't let me sync the apps onto iTunes. It ill allow me to syn the old version when I just started but since then I have bought a dozen other apps. Can anyone help. thanks

Well this won't work for me...
I had all of my apps and music stored in iTunes, I updated to the newest 9.2 iTunes and did a 4.0 update to my iPhone 3G all the while not noticing that EVERYTHING IN iTUNES was GONE. When I got done updating my iPhone it was late so i went to bed... Next day came back to sync everything and thats when I saw it was all gone...

did what the link said and NOW I have all my 6K+ MUSIC back but not ONE APP. The App's are completely gone from when you nav. to the location the link says... There isn't a mobile sync folder there...

This is saying, to me, that you can use a third-party remote to control TV functions.
If that's the case, I have been doing that ever since I got it, using my universal remote for all my tv-connected devices including my TV (I got it to learn the Apple remotes signals). Could someone please elaborate on this?

It's not really for universal remotes - which normally come with a database of codes to use with a wide variety of devices. It's for the remotes that can normally control another device - for example:
My Samsung TV remote has the ability to control a Samsung DVD player. Although i haven't got the DVD player, the buttons are on the remote anyway (Play, Pause, Fast Forward, etc).
I can now map those buttons the the ATV - in fact i gave it a go and it worked fine. However, i've put that back in the cupboard as i have a universal remote like you thats been doing it for ages.

How much of a hurry are you in, and are you considering upgrading to Lion?
File Vault on Snow Leopard only encrypts home folders you select, and doesn't work well with Time Machine.
