Somehow music showed up in video area, viedo now only plays choppy audio

So I turned on my Ipod this morning, and noticed that when I accessed the Ipod Video section that the responsivness went way down.
It took about 10 seconds to get to the menu inside of Videos, then inside my movies, there are a whole bunch of songs that don't belong there. Furthermore, the movies also contain files that used to be in with TV Shows, and all my titles in TV Shows are now alphabetized, the season breakdown has disappeared.
When I click on a video, it takes a good 20 seconds to load, and then, only the audio plays, and not the video.
Seriously, this Ipod is not even 2 months old. It should not be doing this...

I want to update this.
I got home tonight and plugged in my ipod to see what was happening in my itunes interface.
All files show up as music, even the video. Which is weird, because on my ipod iteself video shows up in the video directory, it is just mixed in with audio files.
If I play the video files, then the video screen in the browser will popup and play the video fine.
As far as I can tell, I cannot drag stuff from music into video, so I am totally lost.
Someone has probably experienced this before, so please, anybody, HELP.

Wow, just posting and it seems that there is a solution that is working for me...
What I've did is I turned off iTunes Match on my iPhone, then turned in on again. Now in my iTunes library on my mac I can get the duplicates to be matched or uploaded to iCloud with a right-click, add to iCloud. iTunes Match starts to check the songs and everything is done correctly. Pretty nice!

Either you or an application on your computer moved the location of the actual files.
Put the files back where they originally were.

Hearing just Music from the Itunes Videos. Can you access just the audio?

Have a 40 Gb Color Ipod and have loaded some videos on my Imac....just wondering if there is a way to hear the music part from the videos. For that matter if it can be loaded on the color display Ipod. I'm not concerned about watching the video...but would like to be able to hear the music....even just burn a CD to hear the music only.

Anything you buy from the iTunes Music Store has digital rights management built in. Basically you would have to use a 3rd party program to extract the audio portion, and Apple get very touchy about posts that discuss messing with purchased music/videos.
The last couple were removed by the Mods. Just so you know. : )

I am also experiencing some problems with the new software version, I bought the Belkin TuneBase for my car 25 days ago it had been working fine since I upgraded my Ipod 2 days ago, you know that sometimes if you don't get good reception you can change to a diferent preseted station on this Belkin Transmitter but since this Ipod upgrade I can't change to a diferent station and also i can't disconect it like before because before it said you were ok to disconect and I'm afraid to return because perhaps afterall is a software problem.

Video recorded in landscape only plays in portrait mode on HD tv

I recently obtained iphone 5s. I've recorded several videos with the phone, in landscape mode. When I try to play the videos connected to my tv via HDMI A/V cable the videos will only play back in portrait mode (quality is distorted and horrible).
Same goes for the videos recorded in landscape mode on my old 4s (which prior to IOS 7 would play back in proper mode).
Phone is not locked in portrait mode.
Video will play on phone in landscape mode...just won't play in landscape on the TV.

I had the same exact problem. Some of my landscape videos would get squashed into a portrait size view on the TV.
What I did as a workaround was to hold the phone in portrait mode, play the landscape video, and if it didn't fill the screen correctly, I would swipe the video as if I was going to another video/photo, but without lifting my thumb/finger, swipe it back so that it returns to the original position.
What happens is that the video on the TV screen should resize into a smaller landscape image (with the circle play button in the middle of the image). Then usually when I hit the play button again, it will play properly in landscape mode and, more or less, fill the screen properly.
I find it odd that so few others have faced this issue.

After looking at the 803 KB file you can see (well, hear) that the m4v file is only audio. http://www.40dayusa.com/photos/339485388_6Fv5j-640.mp4
This might have happened during movie export or file upload to server. After checking that the video plays in QT player locally re-upload the file to the correct directory with audio+video.

YouTube only plays the audio how to get it to play audio and video

I can't play youtube videos in firefox. I only get the audio portion without the video. It was working fine. No new programs. No new plugins. No changes I can recall. How do I fix this?

You can check for problems caused by recent Flash updates and try these:
*disable a possible RealPlayer Browser Record Plugin extension for Firefox and update the RealPlayer if installed
*disable protected mode in Flash 11.3 and later

I bought some itunes music on my ipad. I then went to download the songs previously bought onto my PC, from the itunes store. They all downloaded, BUT each song only plays 1 1/2 minutes in length. What happened. Any help wouldbe appreciated. THANKS

90 seconds is the preview time when you want to sample a song in I tunes. I have no idea why or how it would have downloaded the preview, as opposed to the whole song.
I suggest you delete the songs, then go back to the iTunes store and redownload your music. See what happens then. I am assuming that these songs were bought with the same apple Id.

IMORTED AUDIO/VIDEO FILE ONLY PLAYS THE AUDIO WITH A BLACK SCREEN

I'm trying to put a DVD together of my friends' concert, but every time I export from AVID to a QT file, import it, transcode it, and put it in a timeline, it only plays audio and a black screen.
I went back into AVID and made sure that I exported both audio and video...I did. Then I checked the QT file, and it plays the audio and video.
I exported the files as uncompressed. Should I use a compressor?

1.1 GB of space for other use, but no music, no books nor Videos are sync.

My IPad4 says it has 1.1 GB of space for "other" use, but I don´t have anything on this Ipad, I even took away the music, books and Videos. How can I know what others really stands for? Is there a way of errasing this information?

Other is usually around 1 GB...
A ' Large Other ' usually indicates Corrupt Data...
First Try a Restore from Backup... But... if the Large Other Persists, that is an Indicator of Corrupt Data in the Backup... Then a Restore as New is the way to go...

My music videos now only play in verticle mode not landscape since ios7

I have an iphone 5 and since I downloaded ios7 I now can't watch any of my downloaded music videos in landscape mode. If I turn it then I get the album list of my entire Itunes library when in landscape. Any ideas?
