Somehow my MacBookPro iCloud account has a different name and password from my other devices. Even my date of birth is listed incorrectly. I have tried but can't seem to change this info to match up with my other devices. Can someone help?

Not sure when mobile me changed, but it was this weekend that my storage etc. lapsed (I have paid to keep storage with icloud). So i assume this has something to with it stopping.

Assuming you are using the FaceBook app: Settings App > FaceBook > [your name] > Delete Account. Then sign in with your new account.

I got the "wrong answer", so the next time I asked for an email authentication. I am still waiting. I don't know what the usual time for waiting normally is. I am still waiting for an email reply from three days ago. I'm not going to hold my breath. My ipad is out of warranty but I may have to beg for help from support? I'll wait awhile longer. I use message and all other messages are non-sms. When I try to message these two accounts, they automatically use sms, everything I do is the same. The non-sms messages go through just fine (including pictures). The sms messages (no pictures) are always rejected; they have never gone through. They have never been able to send messages to me either (although they can send to others). I have a Verizon cellular data plan.

I can't log in to my computer. It won't accept any names and passwords from any accounts.

This is my work computer, and it started 3 days ago. It won't accept the name and password of any account in the office, except for the localadmin log in. That works just fine. I have tried all the basic troubleshooting like restarting, unplugging the computer, unplugging the network cable. Doesn't help. The login screen shakes like I typed in the wrong password.
It is connect to a network with other macs and PCs. We use Windows Small Business Server 2003, I don't know if that has anything to do with the issue.
Today the problem also started affecting a Mac Book Pro, which is also connected to the network.
Is there an update we are missing? What's going on?

Are you authenticating to an Active Directory server? If so, that's where the problem is.

How can I keep Firefox from keeping my login name and password from being in the dialog boxes when I sign on on gmail? It allows anyone to log into my email account

When signing on to my gmail account the two dialog boxes, one for account name and the other for the password are already filled in. The password box has dots for the password but anyone who clicks on the sign in box can read my mail. How do I change this? It appears to be a Firefox related issue because it doesn't happen if I sign in on Safari or Internet Explorer. I would appreciate your help.

Icloud is asking for user name and password for outlook 2010

My outlook is asking for username and password in outlook 2010 after installing the icloud for pc. it says to use my apple id, but that does not work. Any suggestons?

You can't differentiate between subdirectories in Firefox, so even if you would edit the URL then it wouldn't work and you might corrupt the file by doing that.

IMac 27, Screen is garish, can't seem to change this...

Hi, I have an iMac 27 (mid 2011), on my wife's profile the screen is continually quite garish compared to a normal profile. I have re-calibrated and selected other settings such as Cinema Display, etc but the garishness persists whichever setting. I have also copied my screen profile over but again the garish setting persists. It may help to know that from the startup/login page the profile is normal until I select my wife's logo to login at which point the screen immediately brightens. This was present in an earlier iMac before we ported over to this newer iMac, is this something that can be reset or do I need to launch a new profile/login and copy content over ?

Are you confirming your POP account is selected as the sending email account before the message is sent?
And regardless if the email is a new email or is replying to or forwarding an email received by the POP account and cofirming the POP acconut is selected as the sending email account, the message is sent by the Gmail account?
All message sent by the POP account are sent by the Gmail account?
If so, delete the Gmail account from your iPad and test if a message sent with your POP account which will be the only email account available with the iPad's Mail app is recieved from your POP account/address.
If not, something else is wrong or on play that has nothing to do with the iPad.

Unfortunately you can't, the additional storage belongs to your first account, you can't transfer it.

I am trying to sign into my google account. I go through the process of resetting the password successfully. When I reopen Firefox, I have to sign in again (despite checking "stay signed in") and the user name and password are deemed not correct even though they are! There is no problem in Internet Explore. In Firefox, I have cleared the cache and cookies.

Looks like you might have an old password saved in Firefox.

If you are in the Setup Assistant then you choose them. If you have already gone through the Setup Assistant then you should have configured these in the process. Your username is the filename you find under your Home folder's icon in the /Users/ folder. It looks like a home:
