- If you did not charge the iPod for a couple of hours before you did the reset then charege and reset:
Reset iPod touch: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- Then connect to your computer and if iTunes sees the iPod restore via iTunes.
- Next see if recovery mode will allow iTunes to see the iPod so you can restore the iPod. For recovery mode:

If you purchased CS2 Yes its a replacement for you old CD. You just need to read that page to know the answer. If you check the box and downloaded it and installed the product Adobe new activation servers have recorded that you did download and install. in their activation database.

The usual cause for errors is that the security question responses are case sensitive. If case sensitivity is not an issue with your answers, see the last step in the attached section of the article below.
Navigate to My Apple ID using your web browser.
Click "Manage your account"
When prompted, sign in using your Apple ID and password.
Click Password & Security
You'll be asked to answer 2 of your 3 security questions before you can make any modifications. If you are unable to remember your answers, you can choose to send an email to your rescue email to reset your security questions.
Note: The option to send an email to reset your security questions and answers will not be available if a rescue email address is not provided. You will need to contact iTunes Store support in order to do so.

You need to ask Apple to reset your security questions. To do this, click here and pick a method; if that page doesn't list one for your country or you're unable to call, fill out and submit this form.
They wouldn't be security questions if they could be bypassed without Apple verifying your identity.

Actually seeing as Creative's firmware came first it would seem Apple copied Creative. The iPod firmware and library manipulation is very similar to the Creative players, having played briefly with an iPod.
Also you talked before about the difficulty with queuing a track, but couldn't describe a better system. Can you explain how the iPod makes it easier? I don't see any way Creative can make it quicker. You need to access the album/artist, then press the play button. Job done.

I doubt games and notes, we've never had anything like this to-date.
A Mod or owner can tell you for sure of course.

SnR is allegedly 97dB. Of course the subjecti've sound quality is one for the users to debate when there are shipping and several folks here at least have one. I doubt a Mod can tell you anything different.

I cannot receive coming calls. Calls do not go into voice mail and the greeting is not my voice or the default greeting. This appears to be a common problem, regardless of carrier. If Apple cared, they would monitor the forums and provide answers when possible. Several people I know are replacing their iPhones with other devices. My next phone WILL NOT be an iPhone. iPhones are not worth the price.

Go back and read the term of use you signed up for. There is no Apple here in this user to user forum.
The ability to make or receive calls fall on the phone carrier not Apple or iphone.
Suggest you contact your phone carrier to resolve the issue.
Also stating that your next phone won't be an iphone, doesn't mean anything here, we users don't care what phone you get next.

A very tough question ... can someone answer?

I need to display a portlet (or remote code, I don't care) in a plumtree top nav view. I know how to get the HTML for the portlet and have that display, but it does me no good because the c# codebehind (ASP.NET) never gets processed. All I get is the HTML. This is how I am getting the HTML (code below), but I have to have full functionality of this code, which I'm not getting. Can anybody at Plumtree (or in the user community) assist with this problem?

I have written some navigation schemes that place portlet content into a nav area. It isn't a simple task but I will share with you how I have accomplished it.One tricky thing is that using GetGadgets() from the PTSession could negatively affect the performance of your navigation scheme if it is called on every page draw for every user. To work around the performance implications I created two pages in my portlet project. One page has any scripts that are used in the portlet, and another page is the 'dynamic' portlet content that would potentially be different for each user. Can someone answer a question about copyright using itunes?

I'd like to make a presentation using music I purchased from itunes. The presentation will be played at a middle school. The presentation will NOT be sold. Am I breaking Apple copyright by doing this?

The terms of sale for the iTunes Store state that you agree to use the music for "personal use only". Whether or not using music in a presentation for a class would be considered "personal use" could be considered a grey area. I'm not an attorney and I cannot speak for Apple, but as long as this presentation is to be given only once and you don't plan to give copies of the presentation away, post it on a web site, or otherwise make it available to others in any way, I doubt that anyone would give you any trouble over the matter. That is just my personal opinion, though; consult your school for their official stance on the issue.''
By the way, this would not be a copyright issue as far as Apple themselves are concerned; Apple does not hold the copyrights to any of their material. The copyrights are held by the record companies, and would be a separate issue. Use of a music track in a presentation for educational purposes, again presuming that the track is not available outside of the class, generally would fall under "fair use" and so be legal. Again, though, talk with your school if you have serious concerns.

Bluetooth issues. Found solution thread. Need help applying it.

Arch can't find my bluetooth controller, as documented in my last post about it here: https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=174694 (That was 3 weeks ago, so I'm making a new post now.) Basically, I have the hardware (Bluetooth works in other OSs), but Arch has no idea.
After some more searching, I finally found someone with the same problem on AskUbuntu, with a potential solution: http://askubuntu.com/questions/225208/b … n-bcm43228 However, I'm not really sure what's going on there.
* How can I find out the specifics about what hardware I have?
* And how do I interpret the output of usb-devices, below? The AskUbuntu thread says a couple of times "here's a key line", but I don't know how to recognize the key lines in my own outputs.
* How similar is my setup to the one on the AskUbuntu thread? Can I apply the solutions there to my own machine?
* That post is a year old. Has the patch the answerer mentioned been implemented into the linux kernel yet? (And am I be using a version of the kernel with that patch?)
* I'm not really excited about patching and compiling a kernel myself. Is there another way?

Outputs for rfkill, hci*, and bluetoothctl are on the old post linked at the top of this post, but they give no relevant output (except "What you're talking about doesn't exist"). The bluetooth daemon is running, and I have all necessary packages installed (as shown at the end of the older post).

I may answer a bit late here but someone managed to help me on IRC while I was having the exact same problem. I don't think that it's needed to patch your Kernel since Arch provides the very last updated. The problem has gone from my side installing the `bluez-hid2hci` package then rebooting the computer. Hoping it can help you!

I take it you tried using the "right click" menu? That doesn't seem to work, as you noted, but, you should be able to paste text by pressing your CTRL key and while holding it down, press the "V" letter key.

CTRL + X = CUT
CTRL + V = PASTE

By default, ML no longer comes with the Java runtime preinstalled. I believe the route to enabling Java if you are going to need it is to run the Java Preferences app found in Utilities. It will inform you of Java's absence and offer to install the latest version and activate it. On subsequent runs, the Preferences app will allow you to fine tune how the runtime operates.
Note that the new default operation is for the applet plugin to be disabled. You need to enable it as needed and it self-deactivates if unused in awhile.
