Ok, I REALLY need help; as do many many others, this I know, but I thought I'd give it a shot(again) anyway. --
My iPod froze. Utterly and completely. It's frozen on the main menu and no matter what I click, it still stays that way. Any suggestions? Any help would make my day. Thanks ^-^ ((and I actually do have other problems with my iPod and I go more in depth with my descriptions over on the other discussion board for the "Fifth Generation" iPod, so if any of you would check that out too, that would make my year. Seriously, it really would.))

Ipod problem... someone anyone please read and help

I have an older 3rd generation ipod (ipod with dock) 20 GB as well as windows XP. I had an older version of itunes that erased my ipod; however I downloaded the latest version of itunes and updated my ipod software this morning. I plugged the ipod back into my computer and when i checked in "my computer" it still showed that the songs were in the hard drive (~14 GB) so i got excited and when i safely removed the ipod they were not in the display. So i plugged the ipod back in and itunes 7.3.2 created a playlist in my name and loaded surprise surprise a playlistwith 6GB of random songs... So now itunes views my ipod as full and i only see 6GB of music instead of what it should be 14 GB. I hope this doesnt sound crazy. If someone knows what this is please reply. Thank you so much

Video conversion issues, someone,anyone please h
OK, this is driving me nuts whenever I try and transfer or convert my video podcasts it gives me the old "unexpected error" and crashes. I think it may have something to do with quicktime as I know their update has caused issues. But look I just want to be able to use my Zen like I always have. Anytime a thread like this gets started, no one from creative answers (at least I can't find any answers), support has been crappy. Up until now I have loved my zen, but this is really starting to get on my nerves. I mean one of the main reasons i bought it was to watch video podcasts. I am running Windows Media center 2005 all updates are current, I have the latest version of the zencast software and the latest firmware upgrade to the zen. So what is happening? Anyone?
where did you get these video podcasts? I had a couple of video podcasts from itunes that did this same thing. it was because it was encoded as a protected file i forgot the extension. try googling up super video converter (by erightsoft) and use that to convert your videos. super is freeware and it works for me all the time. if you need help with converting using super just reply to this message or give me an email - [email protected]

We make these huge, expensive handmade rugs and my historgrams have to be accurate so we can order the right amount of yarn. It is quite intimidating. Mylenium, when you refer to the "cache label" are you talking about the cache level reading on the lower right hand side of the histogram box?
This is what I have been doing:
In Photoshop, I open the image, use the magic wand tool and choose all the areas that are the same color. Now the issue with a particular rug drawing was that it had a ton of small, irregular squares (50 or so). As I was choosing the squares one by one the cache level reading would go up (as it should) but then at a certain point it would go to a different cache level and the number would go down. Should I have continued to choose the squares until they were all chosen and THEN hit the exclamation point? If so, would this have been the accurate reading? And how do I know for sure that this reading is accurate?

Can someone (ANYONE!) Please tell me why my account still has a $299 past due balance?
Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay back in early November I received my new iPhone 6 Plus on the Edge plan.
There was no return label in the box, so I contacted support and a label was shipped to me in a couple of days.
I sent the old iPhone 5 back in the box with that return label within the 14 day recommended period and went on with my life.
It is now December 29th, over two months after you (Verizon Edge) received my old phone (I tracked it) and the $299 charge is STILL on my account!
I spent over an hour in the store near my home on December 15th and was assured by the store employee that Verizon Edge HAD received my phone but that financials were backed up and it might take a few more days for the charge to be removed from my account.
Meanwhile, I had been receiving 3-4 annoying automated calls per day from you saying to pay my past due bill.
Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.
Last week, my service was suspended for.... you guessed it!.... non payment of the past due amount!
I immediately called customer service AGAIN and had to ask to speak to a supervisor after the CSR I first talked to said she couldn't help me.
The supervisor put me on hold, then came on the line and said he had verified that you HAD received my phone.
He put my account on an equipment hold (so that I wouldn't get shut off again) and AGAIN assured me that the charge would soon be off my account.
Guess what?!?!?!?!
The $299 charge is still there!
I have been a customer for over 15 years and have never had my phone shut off for non-payment or any other reason.
I want the $299 charge off my bill NOW.
And if this shows up on my credit report (and I check it regularly!) as a late or non-payment situation, I am contacting your legal department and I am going to sue Verizon Wireless for pain and suffering, stress, financial hardship, and anything else my lawyer can think of to add.

I feel really stupid, someone, anyone tell me how to do this??
I installed Logic Studio 2 last weekend and worked with it a bit. Seems fine so far, very familiar since I had the previous version. Anyway, I want to mess with the amp designer and the pedal board but to save my life I can't seem to figure out how to bring it up on the screen. I can use them going to the media bin and such but I want to bring up the actual interface. How???

What must I do? Is it a virus? Please help me.it is not very likely that it is a virus as you would have to allow it on your handset say by accepting bluetooth files from people you don't know or using cracked apps. did you update your firmware to the latest one possible? perhaps try this and see if it solves this issue. if not the only thing for you left to do is to go to nokia care and have them have a look at your phone.

So pretty much I'm super bummed. Last week I tried to plug my iPod into my car adapter. The little apple came up but then the folder icon with the exclamation point came up. Naturally I came to the website to figure out what I could do to revive it. I've read everything they say to do when that pic comes up but to no avail. Then I came to the discussions where it looks like others are having the same problem. Mostly my problem seems to be that my computer won't recognize my iPod. So I read about what to do when that happens but again nothing. I'm at a loss! I would really appriciate it if someone, anyone could help me out!
Interesting - I found this thread b/c I've been unhappy with the mouse action on this macbook pro. It almost feels like there's 2 levels of click in it, a 1/2 click and full click... and it seems to occur only one one side of the mouse!?
I will have to look and see if there's s/t under it causing the problem.
Still, I'm curious if anyone else has this issue? I do a lot of click/select/dragging through sound files and the bad action on the mouse is troubling.
It also seems like they could have also smoothed off the edges of this mouse as they have a very sharp edge/corner which the palm of my hand occasionaly grazes.
Maybe I have a defective (too high?) mouse?
...also going to continue searching for other persons reporting mouse related issues here, although between the super slow search/response time of the forums and the lack of a good keyword for that part (mouse bar?) it's been duanting. -
Desperate -- Can't anyone have phone support anymore?
My problem is special, immediate and can probably only be resolved by actually talking to someone. Yeah, I know, who wants to do that anymore, right?
I spent a couple of hours making a calendar in iPhoto and was completely satisfied with what I saw. I was prepared to possibly not have it shipped in time for the folks I was giving it to for Christmas.
So, I hit submit, and it did its thing until it got almost to the end of the progress bar (it was so close that it looked solid to me!), and then a warning popped up that there was a problem with my account. So, realizing that I didn't want to be charged twice by hitting resubmit, I hit cancel.
NO order has shown up under my account here on the Apple site (and yes, I've looked in the right place), and I've received no e-mail saying there's an order. But yet, there is still a $244 (9 calendars plus shipping) hold on my check card account (basically my bank account) that I use for my Apple ID. The hold has not gone away, yet, according to the Apple site, there is no order.
I have sent the e-mail question, but I'm afraid of the 48 hours turnaround they talk about and the several days I'm sure it will take to get my money released.
This money is for Christmas! This weekend! If I don't get it back, I won't be able to have Christmas (I'm still ordering a calendar, but I'm doing it through an online service, which promises quicker delivery, instead).
If someone, anyone, can give me a number where I can talk to a real human being, hopefully I can get this all straightened out.

Mac Mini Mac OS X (10.4.8)I have a similar problem. Related, I think, to the Safety Pac I downloaded from Apple update last night.
I'm out of my league. Thought mac was supposed to be 'point and click'....I upgraded iLife '05 to '06 last week. It's been working fine. I've worked in iPhoto and created my slide show, fixing all of the photos the way I want them. Music also. Last night I downloaded the latest security pac from mac. After the download I shut it down. This morning, I wanted to see the show one more time before burning to a dvd, but when I clicked on play...the whole computer shut off. When I restarted, the photos in the library had gone from 483 to 35 or so. I did not get a "rebuild thumbnails option" it just kept closing the application when I clicked on that folder. It shows zero photos in it. I think they are still in the computer because I can find some of them, but I don't know how to recover them into my library. Also, I don't know if the altered photos are available or just the original. This has been a huge amount of work. What do you suggest? Copy of crash report follows:

Pictures are coming out blurry after ios5 dnld. Anyone please helpppp!!!
When I take a pic it shows up blurry in my camera roll. And when I try to delete I get a saving image icon that shows forever and never seems to go away. Had these problems since updating to ios 5. Someone, anyone please help. I use my camera all day everyday and this is just crap!!
I found the following post in another forum and tried it this morning and it worked great. My problem was when I took a picture and viewed in the camera roll it was either heavily pixated or it had a white screen with a box in the middle of it. It would become clear if I hit edit but if I hit auto enhance it would become a black screen. Anytime I tried to choose an option, i.e. delete, or email the picture, it would have a saving photo message and stall. I could at times get it to email the picture to my wife who has same specs as myself, (iPhone 4 iOS 5) and hers was fine. But I had not synced hers recently, and I had mine. Only thing that was not the exact same, settings were.

The only thing that I would add is when I first did this, when it said to reset I did a Lock/Home reset. When I opened photos they were the same and when I opened iExplorer the files were still there. So I deleted them again and did a soft reset and when my phone came back up I opened my Camera Roll and in about 5 seconds all my photo's were there and you could view them like normal. Very easy and you do not have to restore your phone!!! Highly recommended to try first. -
I've have been trying all day to get to someone, ANYONE at Verizon who can help wit a issue I've having over a retail store problem. The representative at the store did not do what had been discussed and now no one wants to fix it. I HATE VERIZON WITH A PASSION and I really want to get this billing issue corrected so I can leave this awful company for good! Can anybody help me?????

Can someone please make an extension for Safari that replicates Tab Mix Plus
I don't use Safari, not because Safari is a terrible browser, not because it doesn't do a good job. I don't use Safari because it refuses to integrate a basic and imperative idea into its structure: Tab Browsing should be intuitive. To that end, I am imploring someone, ANYONE who knows how to create Safari Extensions, please create an extension for Safari that essentially replicates Firefox's Tab Mix Plus.
Most people (I read about 95%) use tabbed browsing on a regular basis, its that important. I'm shocked that Apple hasn't done this already. They would steal all of Firefox's thunder with that simple extension. For me, its 90% of the reason I use Firefox and ignore Safari. With the beauty and simplicity of OS X Lion, I'm stunned that Apple hasn't asked some bored software guy to spend all of 5 minutes to make this thing already. I wish I knew how, I wish I knew how to make extensions and plug ins and apps and all that other stuff, but I don't. All I can do is ask someone out there to please get off the couch and make this thing already. I know that this will more then likely fall on deaf ears and be forgotten by Apple and that's sad.

Suggesting is that apple or iTunes comes up with a creative way of sending the "mix" and have a one click download process like when you purchase apps. Picture an e-card from Apple or Itunes that will ask you to preview the album before downloading. Also, you'd have to know the person in order to send this downloadable mix from iTunes. Name, email, etc. The idea originated because I want to make someone a mixed CD but who really purchased CD's anymore? It would b so much easier if I or anyone had the ability to create a mix iTunes card or gift or e-card to send to someone else. -
I've placed my iPod touch 4th generation in recovery mode by follwing the steps Apple offers in Support. Now my iPod is stuck on a screen that has a picture of a USB cable, an arrow pointing up, and a music note showing iTunes. What do I do now? is This supposed to happen?? Someone, anyone pleaseeeeee help me!!!
Place the iOS device in Recovery Mode and then connect to your computer and restore via iTunes. The iPod will be erased.

If you restore from iCloud backup the apps will be automatically downloaded. If you restore from iTunes backup the apps and music have to be in the iTunes library since synced media like apps and music are not included in the backup of the iOS device that iTunes makes.
You can redownload most iTunes purchases by:
Downloading past purchases from the App Store, iBookstore, and iTunes Store
If problem what happens or does not happen and when in the instructions? When you successfully get the iPod in recovery mode and connect to computer iTunes should say it found an iPod in recovery mode
