Someone changed my shipping address to theirs

I got a shipping confirmation email telling me that my order had been shipped. However when i ordered my laptop, the shipping address and billing address were the same. On this email notification, the shipping address is now somewhere in Ohio while the billing address is mine. How can this error be corrected? I've already sent an email to customer service but I'd like to know if there's anything I can do before it's too late.

Thank you for updating us. I have sent a request to intercept the package and to have it forwarded to your billing address. This process usually extends the delivey up to five business days. You should receive new tracking information once the package is re-routed to your billing address. The online status tool will also update to reflect the change once the request is completed. Feel free to send me a private messsage to keep me posted on the status.

      With the short time I would definitely call Apple and see if you can request the change.  Otherwise, you can log into your account in thle online store and view the order.  You may be able to chlenge it there, or cancel and reporder.

    The home button on my iPod touch fourth generation was stuck down and unresponsive so I contacted Apple. They sent me a box and all and the next day I took it to a Fed Ex center. The problem is, they sent it to my boyfriend's house because I thought I couldn't get mail at my street address. Upon later discovery, it turned out that I can. I want to change the address that the iPod will be shipped to after its repair so it will be shipped to my house instead of his house. How do I change the shipping address? I went to the Apple ID page and I changed the shipping address but apparently that didn't change the address on the page of the repair information.

    Contact Apple. or just let it by shipped to the other address and pick it up.  The rair documentation should say how to contact Apple.  You have to give them the case numberor similar identifier for the repair action.

    Anyone have any luck with this? I know it says it HAS to go to your billing address, but it seems Apple.com lets you edit the shipping address after the order is in they system.

    I just got an Apple e-mail saying that my shipping address was successfully changed.
    Wanna' know the funny thing? I still haven't received the confirmation e-mail saying that I was successful in ordering the iPhone 4, yet I have the e-mail stating that the change in shipping address was successful. Haha.

    Try:
    - A reset. Nothing is lost
    Reset iPod touch: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
    least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
    - Go to Settings > General > Reset and tap Reset All Settings.
    All your preferences and settings are reset. Information (such as contacts and calendars) and media (such as songs and videos) aren’t affected.
    - Restore from backup
    - Restore to factory settings/new iPod
    If you still have the problem that indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.

    You won't be able to ship out of country. Apple's online stores only ship to the country that they are marked for.

    I am guessing this has to do with import / export laws and taxes, but I could be wrong.

    Hi, I purchased a laptop from Bestbuy on Thanksgiving, However, for some reasons I typed in the wrong shipping address (it was the old address where I lived before). I didn't notice that mistake until later that day, then I tried to call Bestbuy and they said the laptop had been shipped and they couldn't make any change. Then I contacted UPS trying to change the delivery option but they said Bestbuy had restricted it. So right now I am really anxious about the fate of my laptop, I don't want it to tall in the wrong hands. What should I do now to get my laptop? What if the current resident at that address sign and take it?
    I would really appreciate any help provided.

  • How can I change the shipping address to buy a calendar in iPhoto?

    I'll like to buy a calender with iphoto 11! I clicked on buy calender, i accepted the ammount, I logged in on my mobileme account and than, when it come to choose the adress i don't have any choice other than the country where my mobile me account is registered.
    I followd the online instructions to cheange the shipping address but they tell you to click on"account info  button" which i cannot find!
    There is any option to buy the calender as a gift and send it somewhere else in the world??? It seems to be very complicated to an apple product..... any suggestion??

    Sending a calendar to another country is not supported in many jurisdictions - as it can lead to extra charges for the receiver. As I have no idea what country you are in you can select your country from this list

    Welcome to the Apple Community..
    In order to change your Apple ID or password for your iCloud account on your iOS device, you need to delete the account from your iOS device first, then add it back using your updated details. (Settings > iCloud, scroll down and hit "Delete Account")
    Providing you are simply updating your existing details and not changing to another account, when you delete your account, all the data that is synced with iCloud will also be deleted from the device (but not from iCloud), but will be synced back to your device when you login again.
    In order to change your Apple ID or password for your iCloud account on your computer, you need to sign out of the account from your computer first, then sign back in using your updated details. (System Preferences > iCloud, click the sign out button)
    In order to change your Apple ID or password for your iTunes account on your iOS device, you need to sign out from your iOS device first, then sign back in using your updated details. (Settings > iTunes & App store, scroll down and tap your ID)
    If you are using iMessages or FaceTime, you will also need to log out and into your ID there too.

  • Why can't I change my shipping address from Canada to the US when sending a calendar through iPhoto?

    I have ordered iPhoto calendars to my home in Canada, but would now like to send the same calendar to the US.  Why will iPhoto not allow me to add a US address for shipping?  I can fill in the zip code & state, but there is no toggle to US (it only give Canada as an option).

    Because you have a Canadian iTunes/app store account/apple ID  and you must have a valid billing method and address in the country your "store" is in.
    As far as sending items as gifts, I have no idea.

    Was able to order on the East Coast but was unable to change my shipping address to my office where I'm at all the time nor was I able tselect in-store pickup which is a block from my house. Apple claims the phones will be in the stores next Friday the 21st but after I ordered it said it could be two weeks until I get the phone. Why couldnt I just pick up in the store? Or change my shippimng address which you can do from the millions of other shoppong web-site on the internet. You know, simple, user/customer friendly services. Now my phone could be petentially two weeks away and will most likely not be left at my apartment by the carier and I will have to go to all ends to go to their facility, which could be miles aways to pick it up. Would have be nice to have it shipped to my office where there is a gaurantee that someone would be there to accept it or better yet given the option to just walk 5 minutes to the store and pick it up myself on Friday. Poor set up by Apple once again. Absolutely no reason for then to control their customers like this once again. Completley lame.

    You have to wait until the item reaches the "processing" step. At that time you can change your shipping address. If your status still says "We have received your order" then check back later.

    Generally you can not - maybe you can in this case - try in the iphoto preferences change the print product country to Canada and then order using a Canidian shipping address

    You can only ship to the same country as the billing address of the credit card used.
