Someone else receives my facetime calls

Hi,
Since last saturday (3rd May 2014), I see that somelse is making and receiving my facetime calls. The first time, I saw on the phone of my girl friend that she was receiving a Facetime call from my account AppleID. This call was not coming my own phone. Both these phones (the one of my girl friend and mine) were one next to the other when we received this call.
Than we did some tests. When she called me on Facetime, sometime another person has responded (seems to be a little boy).
It seems both our phone received the call (mine and the one of the little boy) and the first who respond take the call, the other don't.
I don't know if my text on iMessage are concerned. No proof of that for the moment, but I have dought.
This little seems to be French, like me. And so I have a theory but I'm not sure of that. I think this little boy has got my previous phone number. Even if this is the cause, I don't know how to resolve it.
Please, could someone help me to recovery the property and the use of my Apple ID on Facetime ?

It is happening the same to me. I've been receiving FaceTime calls from my gf account for a few weeks, but it's not her. A guy with a mask is making the calls, but I am not sure he is american, since I am not able to understand what he says.
At the beginning I thought it was a FaceTime bug because I started receiving calls while I was already talking on FaceTime with my gf, so I didn't care at all and obviously I didn't answer. But last Friday the iPhone rang again and I answered and saw this guy.
We've been to the Apple store and we've called the customer care maybe 10 times and no one is surprised at all. Is it so common and normal that someone uses your Apple ID to call your relatives and/or your partners??
They just answered that you have to change simply your password, but this doesn't solve anything. In fact, the guy called again a few hours ago and the Apple senior manager decided to transfer our call to the network operator.
I'm totally disappointed with the answers from Apple, since the operators aren't able to avoid future calls from the guy and to dissociate his devices from my gf's icloud account!
I would be very grateful if someone could help me to manage this weird situation.

I'm having the same problem, but it's also coming through on my computer, through my Apple email address. I have a very short Apple email, and little kids are trying to facetime their little friends, and then when I tell them I'm not their friend, they FaceTime or iMessage me even more, thinking that I'm still their friend, and I'm just kidding around.
I can't block the kids before they call...I don't know who they are. I want to restrict my FaceTime to only my phone number, and block all FaceTime and iMessage requests that are coming in through my email address. Can I do that?

NO you can't forward the call.
You will have to answer on your Mac. Whomever is calling you will need to use your apple id, to use the computer for facetime.

Just my experience, but I've never had a screen protector on any of my iPads and have never felt the need to have one. You may want one if you don't use a case or cover, but otherwise I don't see that they're useful assuming you take basic care in keeping your screen clean and free of debris that might scratch.

When we answered the call on the IPad the callers image only appeared in the portrait mode and any attempt to rotate the Ipad to the landscape mode did not change anything. Any suggestions?

Received a Facetime Call from My Stolen Macbook Pro Today - Trackable?

Long Story Short:
My 15" Macbook Pro was stolen recently on July 28th 2011 while travelling to Boston .
Today:
My [wonderful!] 12 year old sister, who has been attempting to facetime my Mac from her iPod Touch since that time had a weird/(hopefully great?) thing happen
- After a few attempts at calling my username with no answer, someone who was logged into MY account actually called her back. When answering the call, the camera was covered with hands, she was able to get a screenshot though it probably may not help much.
- My immediate thought was to try and track the incoming IP where the call was made from. So after calling my ISP (Verizon FIOS) I was told that they had no record of any incoming/outgoing IP addresses communicating with my computer (I hope I'm describing it correctly)...which I know can't be true.
- iPod Touch was connected through WEP Wifi to our Verizon FIOS Router.
- I have already called the Philadelphia Police who are conducting an investigation into this. Waiting to hear back.
- Am also going to visit my Local Police to see what they can do
I am wondering if anyone can help point me in the right direction to track the IP of the call that was made. Any software which I can install to track any FUTURE incoming communication for the next time I try and call my account back.

Trouble receiving FaceTime calls on my Mac Mini using OSX Mountain Lion

I have a Mac Mini using OSX Mountain Lion, an iPad 2, and an iPhone 4. I tried to receive a FaceTime call on my Mac but it was telling the caller that it was busy. I was however able to call her iPhone from FaceTime on my Mac and we connected that way. After our video conversation I tried testing this by calling my Mac from my iPhone. I also received the message that it was busy. I should also add that when I first received the call I had my iPad FaceTime turned on. The iPad was ringing but not the Mac. So I turned off FaceTime on my iPad and had her call me back again using my email address. As noted it said it was busy. Please help!

Could not disconnect from a FaceTime call on 5S running iOS8.0.2

Received a FaceTime call this morning. Caller was using an iPhone 5S running iOS7. I have a 5S running iOS8.0.2
Once complete neither of us could disconnect from the call. The usual "red button" was not operating. I finally powered off my phone and that forced the disconnect. Both phones now seem OK, but we have not used FaceTime since.
Additional: I was on a home WiFi at the time. Caller was on the Verizon Cell system (no WiFi at that end.)
Anyone else have this problem?

Why is Facetime calling all my devices?

I have an iPhone 5, iPad mini, and an iMac. All which I use the same apple ID. I know for a fact each device has a seperate e-mail or number to receive a facetime call. Although, when someone still calls me I still have all my devices ringing, nor is there an option for me to select a specific number or e-mail if I want to Facetime someone.
Is this bug or by design for iOS 7?

You should check on your "Send & Receive at" settings for your FaceTime and iMessage sections in your iOS devices. More information on these settings can be found here:

You can change the address that new iMessage conversations are started with in Settings > Messages > Send & Receive > Start new conversations from:. Note that this setting applies only to new conversations. If you would like to change the address from which messages are sent, first change this setting, and then delete the existing conversation and start a new one.
iMessage responses will be sent from the address the recipient most recently messaged. For example, a friend sends you a message to your Apple ID. Responses in this conversation will be sent from your Apple ID, even if you've selected new conversations to start from your phone number.

So I'm receiving these odd calls...

So recently (the past couple of months), I've been receiving calls from some odd phone numbers. Usually they call at the same time of the day (around 9:30am-10am EST) and they're numbers I've never seen before. Today, the first call came from {edited for privacy} and the 3 subsequent calls came from {edited for privacy} (according to the caller ID on my phone). Past calls have been from numbers similar to this but not always the same.
Usually when I pick up, I hear some static but can hear someone talking in the background (like they butt-dialed me or something). On the 4th call today I received, I asked "Hello? Is anyone there? Can you hear me?" and I heard a woman say "Okay" and then there was static and she hung up or we got disconnected.
I googled and found that 707 is the area code for northern California but the 82 number doesn't make any sense to me. All signs point to South Korea (+82 is the country code for South Korea).
Has anyone else received these phone calls or something similar?

Since both numbers have 707, I suspect the 82 is a code for something.
Which I did find this explanation."When you have a permanent block on your cell phone number you will need to dial *82 before dialing the number you are calling." So it is a cell number in the 707 area code calling you. Basically it is a code for some cell companies to block the name of the caller but not the number.
Why not do a block on those two numbers for a short time using the blocking option via Verizon.(Do not include the 82 for the second number)
Log into you account, click on the HOME tab and choose Block and unblock numbers.

Whenever I receive a FaceTime call it does not ring I have checked in settings to make sure the noises and alert ect. Are all turned on.u

This used to show up as a question with some frequency - but i havent seen it in the last year. used to be a pad 2 issue, and I see you have a pad 2. While i had the pad 2, that would be a problem from time to time - but went away, and I was never clear on the cause.
So - the basics. You have already checked in notifications, and the alert spound is on. Ringer and alerts volume slider is not all the way down? (this is the only app that uses the ringer - as far as I know)
System sounds are on? (pad is not muted)
I would suggest you continue to play around with the settings. (You can facetime yourself from your iphone -if you are so equipped - so quick tests are easy)

I can't answer Facetime calls on my iPad.

when I receive a Facetime call, I can't answer. Whether it's the slide answer when it's been sleeping or the red or green button when it's not, nothing happens when I try to answer.

TThanks for the reply. I've been through everything on the troubshooting check list & restarted. Since I wrote the previous pots, things have got worse.now I can't make Facetime calls either. Before I just couldn't answer them. One thing, Skype is working. Oh, by the way, I am completely updated to IOS 8.0.2 & I am now at a loss as to what is wrong with Facetime!
