Someone else's calendar entries on Ipad?!?!

So..our CEO bought an Ipad,(OS 3.2.2) and we set it up for exchange. The issue is that after it syncs, there is someone else's calendar entries along with his! We moved him to a different (2007) exchange server, deleted his account from the Ipad, and set it up again. All the entries came back. These are ONLY on the ipad and not in his calendar on outlook. Needless to say I am very perplexed. We have several other Ipad users, including myself, and none are experiencing this issue. Any thoughts, insights or solutions are greatly appreciated!!!!

If you know that for a fact, then you should know whose thumbprint it is. Remove the thumbprint in Settings>Touch ID and Passcode. Enter your passcode, then go to Fingerprints, and remove that print from the settings.
Then take it up with whoever set the print up in your iPad.

    Hi Chris,
You can't get rid of an alert. The least you can have is one that says "none".
Nevermind, I see you learned how to edit the event.

  • Querying someone else's calendar for freebusys

Is it possible to query someone else's calendar for their freebusys by having their calendar address, port, and calendarID, without having their username/password?
I am using "com.sun.comclient.calendar" package and the SOCSCalendar class which is defined in that package.

    Hi,
Is it possible to query someone else's calendar for
their freebusys by having their calendar address,
port, and calendarID, without having their
username/password?This should be possible. Two things though:
    1. Have you logged in as a valid user prior to attempting to get the freebusy information - i.e. you have a valid session?
    2. If not, does the calendar server have 'anonymous' access allowed?
I am using "com.sun.comclient.calendar" package and
the SOCSCalendar class which is defined in that
package.I haven't programmed with this java class myself.. somebody else may be able to help though.
    Regards,
    Shane.

  • I have someone else's calendar on my iphone. how safe is our info?

I got a replacement iphone after dropping mine...once...
I assumed this was a new phone. But when I looked in the calendar, I found someone else's information, some of which looks confidential.
I have just given the 'genius bar' my old iphone to replace, which although it didn't work properly, obviously has MY confidential info on it too.
Are Apple recycling phones? Do I have a recycled phone?
can I be reassured that my info hasn't been passed on to someone else?
If you're at Apple, please feel free to get in touch!

It wasn't required to activate your replacement iPhone with O2 thru iTunes before being able to use it, followed by an iTunes sync process, or a Restore process to restore your replacement iPhone with your previous iPhone's backup - restoring the settings from your previous iPhone followed by a sync?
The iPhone includes an Erase All Content and Settings option, which you should have used before turning over your iPhone for the exchange.
Per the warranty, an exchange under warranty can be a new or refurbished iPhone. A refurbished iPhone should have the current firmware version installed with no other data - the same as a new iPhone.
This is a user to user help forum only. Although some Apple employees participate here, they do so as fellow users on their own time.
If you want to speak with someone at Apple, you should go directly to the source - contact the Apple employee at the genius bar who handled your exchange.

  • Got someone else's details on my iPad, need help quick

Ok, I really need help, I work on my new iPad 3 a lot, and my contacts mean a lot to me, but today I opened up my contacts and found names and numbers that i had never seen before in my life, then I opened up the photo stream and realised some girls Random Pictures had turned up...I don't want anything to do with this other persons information. And I don't want them having the ability to access mine, as it is important and private... Why is this happening, why is someone else information merging onto my device, I need immediate help as I'm loosing valuable time. Many thanks.

Go to settings>icloud, and make sure its your account there and not someone elses, and if possible go to icloud.com on a COMPUTER not the device and log in with your apple id, if you feel your account has been jeopardized please call in the apple support line and ask to speak with a iOS Senior advisor

how can i copy and email a calendar entry on iPad

What it says in the manual
    Invitations
If you have an iCloud account, a Microsoft Exchange account, or a supported CalDAV account, you can send and receive meeting invitations.
Invite others to an event. Tap an event, tap Edit, then tap Invitees. Type names, or tap to pick people from Contacts.

  • Deleting someone else's calendar from a .mac group

    Hi,
I have an old member's calendars published to my group page. I can't figure out how to get rid of them. I don't have them on my iCal to delete, they're just on the .mac group page.
    Thanks,

  • ICloud sends messages for every change in someone else's calendar

I am trying to use iCloud calendar services for collaboration with my wife, and my secretary (I actually even bought a mac for my wife so that we could do this).
However every time either of them change anything in their respective calendars I get an e-mail from iCloud saying an event has been created. This only started about a week ago.
I have checked to see if some of my settings in iCloud have changed, and they haven't (the box in iCloud that says: "E-mail me when this calendar changes" is not ticked).
I am now totally confused about why I am suddenly getting all these e-mails which are quite irritating.

This seems to be a known problem with no solution at present, I'd be inclined just to wait for a fix to be released.

  • All-day calendar entries and daylight savings time

Since changing to daylight savings time, whenever I change the date on an all-day calendar entry, my iPad (but not my iPhone) changes the one-day calendar entry to a two-da calendar entry. How do I correct this?

Dates are represented internally with a long that represents the number of milliseconds past some fixed point. Timezones do not affect this.
I'm assuming you're getting your dates as java.sql.Date
You should then build a Calendar (see GregorianCalendar) and call setTimeZone() with your timezone without daylight savings

  • Subscribing in iCal on my iPad to someone else's Google calendar.

How do I subscribe to someone's Google calendar in iCal for my iPad?

Photos can be transferred to an iPad via the iTunes sync process from a single computer only. When transferring photos from another computer via the iTunes sync process, all photos transferred from a different computer will be erased from the iPad first.
There is a free iDisk app available for the iPad via the iTunes store. If you transfer the photos to your iDisk, you can access the photos from your iDisk with the iDisk app, but you can't sync photos with your iDisk.
There is also a free MobileMe Gallery app via the iTunes store you can use to view photos in your MobileMe Galleries.

  • TS3999 should all my calendars entries be in the cloud?  trying to share calendars between 2 iphones and ipad

I have 2 iphones and an ipad.  On one of the iphones the calendar entries and not showing up on anything else.  I have checked all the settings and everything looks good - been a headache trying to figure out what is not set up correctly.  I had this working at one point.  Should I see all the calendars in icloud?

As far as I know, the sharing is broken for OS8.6 to OSX.
The wireless Appletalk for printing still works, but only if you have a wireless base that allows Appletalk to move from the wireless to wired. I assume Apple Airports do, but I use a D-Link. Linksys and Netgear did not, nor do most from what I gather. My PM8500 with the Laserwriter also has Laserwriter Bridge software installed to enable this, I believe. It was all done years ago....

  • IPad Calendar Entries Not Syncing to iCal

    Greetings,
I'm having an issue with new, manual calendar entries I make to my iPad 2 not syncing over to iCal on my Mac Mini.  Syncing in the reverse manner works fine, however.  I'm using iTunes 10.7 on my Mini to sync as I do not use iCloud at all.  I'm using iOS 5.1.1 on my iPad 2.
Anyone has insight on the issue?
    Thanks.

For anyone else with this issue, give this a shot as this is my next step to try also:
