Someone help me with my iPhone 4 Issue!

Everytime I lock my phone and turn it back on, it seems like the phone went off. And when i try turning back on it won't come on so I have to plug it to a charger then it comes back on. I don't know what's the problem with this but i tried everything by resetting the phone and restoring the default system. Can someone help me.

Try upgrading to iOS 5.
If this doesn't work, it is a hardware issue (battery or HD), and you probably need a replacement.

  • Can someone help my with my firewire issues?

After searching on the web for a while I've discovered that leopard and firewire are having issues working with each other.
    I own a Macbook Pro 10.5.6
I'm having issues running my mac when I have more than 1 firewire device connected to it. I do a lot of video editing and capture all my video footage with Final Cut Pro via FW400. I have a GRaid 1Tb external HDD that is connected via FW800. Never had problems with any of this before but upgraded to Leopard last week and then this issue hit.
•If I have my HDD connected but not my camera, the HDD works fine. However my MAC won't recognize my camera if I hook it up.
•If I have my camera connected but not my HDD the camera will connect just fine. However when I try to hook up my HDD it will not be recognized by my mac.
•If I have neither of them connected and connect them both, my MBPro will recognize whichever device gets hooked up first but will not recognize the second. If I leave them both connected any try to shut down my MAC- it will not shut down. As soon as I disconnect 1 of them, my MAC will shut down just fine.
•If I hook up both devices before my MAC is turned on and then try to boot it up. I will get to the blue screen and it will boot no further. If 1 of the devices is then turned off, the MAC will continue to boot just fine.
I've tried resetting the PRAM by doing the <option> <command> <r> but it had no effect. Not sure I'm doing it propperly. I hold down <option> <command>
<r> and wait until I hear 3 chimes. Anyway, it hasn't fixed anything.
Also, I read something about resetting some of the firmware by holding down <option> <command> <o> <f> after the start up chimes and then typing in
    reset-nvram
    set-defaults
    reset-all
However, whenever I try to do this- I hold down <option> <command> <o> <f> but nothing happens. I never get to any kind of command prompt.
Anyone have any other ideas? Any help is greatly appreciated!!
    Thanks!

Thank you all for your replies. I'm trying them all but nothing is working.
I do have a couple of new pieces of information. I figured out that the reason nothing was showing in my System Profiler was because I had both the HDD and the Camera connected if I disconnected one or the other, the remaining device will show in my firewire tree.
Here is a listing of some things. Maybe this will help you all.
Again, thank you for all your suggestions!

  • SOMEONE HELP ME WITH MY IPHONE .....????

Okay I have "View in Lockscreen" on, and I have all the alert options on for text messaging, and Facebook, etc.
Someone would send me a text message or something, and I won't get it unless I press the home button and unlock my iPhone. (It wont show up on the lockscreen)
When I unlock it, the phone will vibrate and I would recieve the message then.
WHY ISN'T MY PHONE RECIEVING MESSAGES OR UPDATES FOR EMAIL ETC?
I mean honestly, it's not like I'm going to be unlocking my phone every minute to check if i got a new email or update or anything.
PS: Notifications for facebook, msges, mail are all on and view in lockscreen.

    Try upgrading to iOS 5.
If this doesn't work, it is a hardware issue (battery or HD), and you probably need a replacement.

  • Can someone help me with App Store Issues?

When I go on my phone to re-download old apps on my phone, my purchased section is cleared and there is nothing there, but the weird thing is when I sign into my iTunes account on my computer, all my apps are in the "Purchased" section on there. I have purchased dozens of things and I only have one apple ID so there is no confusion there. Has anyone had a similar problem and/or know a solution to this? I have tried to reset and hard reset, but nothing seems to fix the issue. I have also tried to sign out and back in but nothing.

Ok so I fixed the issue.
First I went to the App Store, clicked my ID, then clicked "View Apple ID" on the App Store and clicked "Remove This Device."
Then went on to Sign out of iTunes & App Store (Settings > iTunes & App Store).
After this I went on my computer version of iTunes and I Unautharized my computer and reauthorized it (it is done from the Store tab on iTunes).
I did a hard reset of my phone and connected it to my computer and let it sync.
While connected I signed back in to iTunes from the same "iTunes & App Store" section in the settings.
I then installed a previously "Purchased" app from the computer version of iTunes
When it finished installing I went to my purchased section and all my apps were back:)
Ok so I'm honestly not sure whether these steps were the reason for the fix (or if there was unnecessary steps), but it did fix the problem I was having with my purchased apps not appearing.

  • Can someone help me with synching iPhone 4S email to iPad email?

I updated my iPhone 4S for ios7.  Was unhappy with the new calendar function and reluctant to upgrade to ios7 on my iPad due to the existing (and great) calendar format.  Is there a way to sync email on my iPhone without updating to ios7 on my iPad?

    Try this first:
I just looked up SBCGlobal, it looks like it runs through Yahoo, try setting up your email using Yahoo using your SBC Global username and password.  Let us know how it goes.
Second, if that did not work, try setting up an email using the "other" option, it is at the bottom of the list.  You will need to add your name, email and password; description can be whatever you want.

  • Could someone help me with my iphone 5?

I am not sure if anyone has this problem at all but please see the video below.
    http://i1343.photobucket.com/albums/o796/kyrasym/VID_20140524_172214_zps0e1eb0b4 .mp4
I get this like 6 to 7 times a day which is very annoying. Whenever I press the sleep/wake button. My phone wakes but instantly goes back to sleep again. I have brought it to the apple authorised service center TWICE. The first time they told me that there is a problem with my sleep/wake button so they changed it. Brought it home used it for about 4 days and the problem came back. Brought it back again to the service center but they told me there is nothing wrong with my phone even when I showed them this video of my problem. If someone from apple could please advise what I am supposed to do?

  • Can someone help me with an ongoing issue? My devices are accessed repeatedly by another party, someone manipulating my local ISP, I can't access iTunes, I keep finding websites visited on my devices. It seems as if someone accesses remotely.

I don't know what all this means but I know it shouldn't have happened.

.local indicates local activity by the computer host Williams-macbook-pro.local=hostname@domain . The UID of 501 is the standard UID of a local computer administrator.
Copy and paste this little script in your terminal:
    if [ "SSH_CONNECTION ]; then
         echo I am remote
    else
         echo I am local
    fi
A return of "i am local" ensures there is no remote connection to your machine (through SSH).
In the future, to avoid remote entry, I would recommend not posting your IP address though.

I was trying to use the Iphone diagnostic tool, and i use the ticket number they gave me but it says ticket not found. How can i fix this?

The Magic Wand is subject to the sample size you've set for the color picker.
Yes, I know it seems silly.  Personally I think it's a bug that these essentially unrelated things should be connected.
    Try this:
    1. Open an image.
    2. Click the foreground color patch in the tools bar.
    3. Right-click on the image somewhere.  What's your sample size?
    4. Change it to Point Sample.
    5. Cancel the Color Picker.
Now your magic wand should work better.
I wouldn't have known this but for having been there myself recently.

  • Hi could someone help me with this basic issue ..

'sql*plus' is not recognized as an internal or external command,
    operable program or batch file.
I have installed expression addition for practice on a win xp OS it was working fine but now this is the error when , I am trying to start the data base.
checked the environmental variables they seem to be ok but still no progress .
    Thanks,
    Max

    Hi,
In hurry are you typing sql*plus instead of sqlplus?
you could go to <oracle-home>/bin directory and run  (ex: C:\oraclexe\app\oracle\product\11.2.0\server\bin\sqlplus.exe)
    Regards

I'm assuming you have Photo Stream set up of both devices.  However, it seems many users are experiencing the same as you - my take is that streaming photos is not foolproof yet.

FYI: It seems it was a network problem with my WinXP PC. After complete deletion and new installation of XP and iTunes my iPhone will be recognized correctly, Wifi synchronization works (mostly) fine.

I have followed the instructions to update Flash Player, the Installation Fails at about 90%, it says that there is an Application running (Safari) and it says to close all the apps. and start again ... but I already close all the Applications ... none is running ... can someone help me with this issue ??? Thanks ...

    Dear Dominic
Brilliant reply. Simple English. Simple to follow instructions. And it worked immediately, first time.
Why couldn't the Apple and Adobe corporations get their programming right first time? We spend billions of UK pounds and US dollars with them. They reply with incompetent programming such as this, and arrogance to their customers in issuing faulty systems without doing the most rudimentary checks.
Anyway, I certainly shan't be buying another Apple as this is the most unreliable, most incomprehensible, most illogical and downright thoughtless shoddy piece of computer kit which I have ever owned. And all of it is rubbish ~ emails disappear, photos can't be organised properly, spreadsheets don't work, Pages is laborious… the list goes on and on...
But thanks to you Dominic, I have been able to load Adoble Flashj… maybe eyou should get  a job at Apple, and set them all on the right course to how to work simply and correctly with customers.
    Thanks again,
    David
