Someone keep on typing wrongly the email address to reset his password
Someone wants to reset his apple ID password but he keeps on typing wrongly the email address (I think). It is very annoying to keep on receiving the emails. Also, I am afraid that someone may try to hack into my account. Is there any ways to stop that? How can I remove the credit card information? Thanks.

Your email address isn't a Gmail account by chance is it? The reason that I ask is because if I Gmail address includes up. In it it will also send an email to the same account that does not have a period in it. It's really stupid IMO.

How can I delete my Icloud account when I don't know the password and no longer have the email address associated with it?
You need your password to delete it and I need the email address to reset the password. I feel like I'm going in circles!!! Please help!!!Go to https//appleid.apple.com, click Manage my Apple ID and sign in with your current iCloud ID. Tap edit next to the primary email account, tap Edit, change it back to your old email address and save the change. Then edit the name of the account to change it back to your old email address (you shouldn't need to verify the old account). You can now use your current password to turn off Find My iPhone on your device, even though it prompts you for the password for your old account ID. Then go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account and choose Delete from My iDevice when prompted (your iCloud data will still be in iCloud). Next, go back to https//appleid.apple.com and change your primary email address and iCloud ID name back to the way it was. Now you can go to Settings>iCloud and sign in with your current iCloud ID and password.

I keep receiving Reset email password emails.
The most recent one was actually addressed to someone else... i.e. the name in the email not the email address. why is this happening?? I am not requesting to reset my icloud email password.That's probably because it's been sent out to a Bcc'd mailing list and that's the name on the main version. This is so that you don't see the other names.
If it doesn't come from something @apple.com then it's spam. Even if it appears to it's probably spam. If you want to change your password go directly to http://appleid.apple.com - do not follow any links in the email (even if they appear to lead to that address.) -
I just upgraded to iOS 8. In iCloud I'm being prompted to check my email to verify this account. The email address they have at the top of my phone is wrong. I have it typed correctly everywhere else. Now what do I do?
See if you can manage your Apple ID and change the primary email account to the correct address, as explained here: Change your Apple ID. Then verify the address.

I just updated to 10.8.4 and my mail program is showing a series of boxes with AAAAs inside them instead of the email addresses. Also when on Safari web pages are displaying the same AAAAAs instead of type. Firefox displays fine. Can someone help me?
Restart your Mac and immediately hold down the Shift key when you hear the startup chime to boot into Safe Mode. Keep holding the Shift key until you see a progress bar towards the bottom of the screen. You can let go of the Shift key at that point.
OS X asks you to log in (you will get this screen on a Safe Mode boot even if your Mac is set to automatically log in). Let the Mac finish booting to the desktop and then restart normally. This will clear Font Book's database and the cache files of the user account you logged into in Safe Mode.
Next, close all running applications. From an administrator account, open the Terminal app and enter the following command. You can also copy/paste it from here into the Terminal window:
sudo atsutil databases -remove
Terminal will then ask for your admin password. As you type, it will not show anything, so be sure to enter it correctly.
This removes all font cache files. Both for the system and the current user font cache files. After running the command, close Terminal and immediately restart your Mac. -

When I go on the App Store App on my Iphone my Apple ID is not correct. It is the email address of someone on my contact list. How can I correct this and replace the incorrect Apple ID with my ID?
Go to Settings, iTunes & App Stores, click on the Apple ID. Sign out. Click again and sign in with your Apple ID.
Is it possible that this someone in your contact list had the phone and downloaded an app for you? -

I have an itouch that will not let me sign in to my itunes account. The email address that it is associated with is no longer valid. I am trying to change my Apple ID. Try to do this I keep getting an error message saying ‘This email address is designated as your rescue email address and cannot be used as your Apple ID or Primary email address. Please choose another.’ The email address that I want to use did use to be my recovery email but I have changed it, so that address is no lonegr associated with my account. I do not understand why I cannot use it as my Apple ID now. Can anyone help?

My old emails address which I have used as my apple id for 10 years is being made redundant. I have changed the email address to a new gmail one and this is my new apple id. But my iMac has not recognised this. It keeps saying it wants the password for my old email address. I have seen some advice on these forums which suggest signing out of iCloud and then back in again. But when I start doing this it asks me if i want all the photos deleted that have not been downloaded onto the mac.
I have had an iCloud account for quite sometime and I'm afraid of losing everything in my cloud if i sign out and sign in with a new id.
Is this fear realistic?
I know I can change back to my old email, sign out and then sign in wight he new one...
Please help!This did not work for me. My old email account for iCloud still pops up on my screen every time I open my macbook. I've deleted it, reset it, every thing I can think of and it still shows up. I think six months of this is more than enough time to wait.

It sounds like you are trying to change the Apple ID logged into the iTunes & App Stores on your iPhone. Use these steps:
Changing your Apple ID account
Tap Settings > iTunes & App Stores, then tap the Apple ID signed in.
Sign out of the current Apple ID account and then sign in with another account or create a new Apple ID.
