Someone please help, :( i want to use my ipod again!
About 4 months ago my ipod decided to stop working, i tried holding the home and 'sleep' button on for 30 seconds and nothing happened, when i plug it into itunes a pop up comes up saying that i need to restore my ipod, i do that then at the end of 'verifying' it comes up with another message saying that an error occured and cannot restore my ipod. i just wnt to use it again, pleasee hellppppp me

Here is the problem:
A few months ago my iTunes no longer recognized my pod even though my computer did. I went through Apple's suggestions, reinstalling software/iTunes to no avail. I reset my pod to factory settings, but it would still not be recognized by iTunes. I put the problem aside. Now I'm back to it. The iPod works fine, holds a charge, etc...but will not update. Whenever I try to use the recent updater program, the iPod fails to initialize. Eventually, the program craps out and will not respond so I shut it down. I'm sort of at an impass. I've tried many suggestions but without updating the software iTunes will never recognize it. Has anyone had/fixed this problem before? I looked through some of the forums but couldn't find a situation where the updater simply wouldn't intialize.
Thanks for the help. Crossing my fingers...It is just just under two years old. Its a 20 GB click-wheel. I'm going to sort out my warranty information because I think I may have extended coverage. But I think this problem can be sorted out without having to resort to all that messy shipping. Actually the updater (after about 100 attempts) finally did initialize and show the restore option. So I did that for the second time and now am letting it charge. Hopefully when I plug it in again it will let me update?

My iPod used to be signed in with my moms apple ID but now I have my own. When I opened IMessage it wanted me to sign in, but on the last step it said, "your email can't be verified since its already in use" please help I want to use IMessage.

Sign out of your Apple ID on all iOS devices, in the following locations:

Can someone please help - I want to sync my icloud calendar with my iphone calendar. All of my entries from previous months are on my icloud calendar but not my iphone. How do I get them back on there? I have corrected my settings for future entries (I think/hope) but want to put the old stuff back on.

Settings > Mail, Contact, Calendars. Scroll down to Calendars and set "Sync" as desired. -
Please help, I want to use my TC as media server
I have a TC 1TB and I have three Macs at home, I want to copy all my music (iTunes), photos (iPhoto) and video on the TC and share it with all the Macs, and when some one add a photo, song or video the other can see it too, and don't have to duplicate the files, so how can I do it, specially with iTunes
1) connect TC to your network and make sure you have no network problems
2) use Disk Utility /Disks/File Sharing to set up the TC; check box share and wan and how you want others to share your TC
3) use Finder preference to check box "show connected servers on desktop"
4) use Finder GO command to connect to server
5) in the blank window type afp://10.0.1.1 that is the ip address shown in Disk Utility for your local network...you could also connect over the internet using the ip address shown under Internet.
6) once TC is mounted, copy your files to it ; do not use TC as your sole backup.
7) launch itunes and use the "add to library" command; this points itunes to the source of the files
8) just make sure you mount the TC before launching itunes each time.
9) only one Mac is going to stream files from that TC at a time. -

ITunes not working! :'(! please help i want to use my ipad!
hi i just bought a 64gig ipad
i went home and opened it and tried to turn it on, it said to connect to itunes so i did, itunes dint find it and a pop up came to upgrade itunes to latest version, i hit ok, it downloded and when it was installing i got 2 errors both at "publishing service or product info" and it roll backed and finished instalation.
When i try to open up itunes i get "apple installation support" not found with error 2.
and it wont openReinstall iTunes and make sure there are no devices hooked up when u do ... i.e unplug the ipad before installing iTunes.

If you have forgotten the iPad passcode and you cannot unlock the device, you have to restore the device within iTunes. You want to use the same computer that you always sync with so that you can restore your iTunes content. You can restore with any other computer, but you will lose everything on the iPad.

Can someone please help me figure out how to “clear” recent email addresses used in Mail? For example, as I begin typing a name/email address in the “To:” field, Mail begins suggesting addresses that I’ve previously used. I don’t want any suggestions unless they are in my contacts.
Another example: When using MS Outlook, it will also remember and suggest email accounts previously used, but I can arrow down and delete an account from the list so it won’t automatically popup or suggest in the future.
I appreciate any guidance in this matter.The iOS email app stores all email recipients in a list of previous recipients which cannot be turned off. The email address autofill feature when addressing an email pulls from contacts and from the list of previous recipients which can't be prevented. There is no option to clear the list of previous recipients - not at the present time anyway.
If you don't want any suggestions, select from contacts instead when addressing an email. -

You do realise that wiping the disk means that everything on the disk is erased. Everything. Photos, music, emails, ...
So the first piece of advice is to make sure you have a back up of everything.
You need the OS disk to reintsall the operating system. You will use that disk first to erase the drive, then to reinstall the OS.

I recently downloaded iMovie on my iPhone 5 and it is telling me to connect to wifi or use itunes to download iMovie well I have done both and it is still not working can someone please help me?

I'm sorry you are having issues with the iMovie app you purchased for your iPhone5.
The first thing I would suggest is to log out of your iTunes Account on your iPhone, turn the iPhone off and then on again, and see if app finishes downloading/updating.
Settings > iTunes & App Stores > Tap on your Apple ID account > Tap Sign Out
If the issues persists, the article below will give you a few more troubleshooting steps:

Go to Adobe.com. Sign in with your userid and password that hast the subscription. Then use the manage Account button. The in manages account locate the plan you want to cancel and click on its manage plan link. In the manage plan click on the cancel plan link. There may be an early termination fer you yearly plan.
