Someone please help im about to go crazy

ok so basically the deal is that i used to just have itunes 7.0 then for some reason it stopped opening due to a problem they encountered. it didnt say what the problem was so i downloaded the new itunes 7.2 and got the same message:
iTunes has encountered a problem and needs to close.
we're sorry for the inconvenience.
if anyone has gotten this same vauge message and fixed it PLEASE tell me how, it would be greatly appreciated.

I am experiencing the same problem with my computer. I just bought my IPod today and downloaded the itunes 7.2, but every time I try to start Itunes I get the error message, "iTunes has encountered a problem and needs to close. We're sorry for the inconvenience." It give you the option to send data to microsoft. Very frustrating!

    I have a vortex by LG. I got it in feb.2011. I have had trouble with it since that day. Turning off all the time , screen locking up,  sending txt to someone different ,SD card not working ,which I have handled all these problems myself  by resetting/swiping it clean often (which is a pain) taking the battery out ,  turning it off for a few hours , blah blah blah ,you know all the stuff you do to have a phone on the go. I asked around & most other people who had this phone was pleased.  I only know off 3 other people who have this phone.  then about a 3wks ago the SD card wouldn't mount or just wouldn't read @ all. I tried everything I knew to do . I go to the Verizon store waited my entire lunch break ( 1 hour) finally someone tried to help me I told him my problem he said well your going have to buy a new SD card which was about 60$ . I felt I waited for nothing. I spent over an hour for him too hold my phone & tell me pay more money. he still couldn't tell me why it did this or how to fix it . Just pay more money . Well I had a extra SD card from my camera it worked then few day later starts the same thing , good thing I didn't buy one cause looks like I would have had to spend it again anyways ,  but I could @ least call out & get calls. Finally a few days later my screened locked up completely I tried all the blah blah blah stuff again. This time it was no fixing it . I go to a different Verizon store hoping to get better/faster help I walk in & tell the lady my problem again on my lunch break she picks up the phone dials customer service & hands me the phone. I think really I could have did this myself why are you people even here! So the guy on the phone says your still under warranty we will send you a new phone or u can upgrade & get a new phone I asked for what kind of price he said the price of the phone , I said no thanks I just paid 200$ for this phone & haven't even got to enjoy it , just send me a new phone he said it could take up to 5 days!!! What I said can , u get it here any faster he replied yes for 13$ I can ship it overnight but it would take 2 days uh, just thought he said overnight!!! I guess over night doesn't mean what it says but I said I don't feel I should pay it since I really didn't break my phone he said there was nothing he could do but it probably wouldn't take the full 5 days they just have to say that  ... Wow OK so 5 days goes by without any phone to use . I finally get the phone but it take the full 5 days,plus the 2 days I tried to fix it to avoid the stores I follow the instruction to activate it thought it was fine but then the next morning  I get a call @ work from my babysitter stating my phone still didn't work!! After work I go back to the 1st Verizon store (which I dreaded so much I would have rather shot myself in the foot , but I'm a nurse who needs my foot & phone) since I had no help from either stores guess it didn't matter which one I went too. After waiting a good 45 MINUTES for help they finally look @ my phone they were stumped on what was wrong cause it said it was activated but not working they finally call someone & the guy finally tell me its is activated under someone else's # ! OK so what do I do ?? The guy hands me the phone says they needs to  verify my address ( which I thought to make sure I account  holder )  I gave the phone back to the guy @ the store they talk for a few more MINUTES. & he said OK , I was like OK what ! Oh he didn't tell you we are going have to send you  NEW phone again!!! Really I have to go another 6 days without a phone!! He offered if I brought an old phone  back in(which I live 20 MINUTES away) he could activate that one till I get the new phone in... 1st off I don't keep old phones I recycle them ( thought that was a good thing)& even if I did have one it wouldn't be a smartphone & that's what I pay dearly for...  ( a phone store who can't lend you a phone while they are fixing your phone that you didn't break even thou you are still paying them for a phone)  MESSED UP RIGHT! He said it shouldn't be that long they are going to overnight it for free but it was Saturday So he said I should get it TUESDAY.**lol overnight what !! Do I not know what overnight means***  I was like yeah yeah YOU ALL say that ! I left the store in tears I depend on my phone I have a 1 yr old child & my job depends on my phone as well . I go home from work Tuesday no phone image that , Wednesday I get a letter from fedx stating I was not home to sign for this device !     My Macbook pro is acting Crazy....the Cursor just keeps on jumping everywhere and not responding when I use the trackpad....Even when it does respond it is very slow...I thought it was the trackpad acting up but realized it wasnt when i plugged in a mouse and it still did the same thing...this happened one other time and shortly after my computer froze...I had to restart for it to work but restarting dosent help this time...can someone please help?...Is this a Virus?

    It is not a virus.  See my Mac Virus Guide*.
    As to what it might be, that's hard to say.  You should try some basic troubleshooting...  Repair the hard drive with disk utility.  Boot in safe mode and see if it happens then, log in to a different user account and see if it happens there, reboot from another system and see if it happens.
    Apparently some people have had this kind of problem caused by swelling batteries that push on the underside of the trackpad and cause all kinds of strange problems.  Is your machine's underside deformed at all?

  • Someone please help. It's about DVD playback.

    OK, so I MADE a DVD on iDVD with my MacBook and I burn it with a "Maxwell DVD -RW DATA - Video" disc.
    So after my MacBook succesfully burned the DVD. I took it out and played the DVD on my old old DVD Player in the living room. Played fine, everything was great(Except one of the movies I had on there was all blue; no other colors, something must of gone wrong with the burning because in the iDVD project that section played normal). So I played it on my roommates computer, he has a old Toshiba running Windows XP, and it played perfectly(except that chapter that played in all blue). I take it back to my MacBook to play it and I insert the disc. The DVD program comes up but nothing happens. I click the play button and it says "Disc is not supported" or something like that.
    I do not get why it doesnt play, especially if I made the DVD on the same computer and it played on my old dvd player and on my roommates old computer.
    Can someone please help me?

    hiya - if this is a new mac (and you haven't played another disc yet) try putting in a bought dvd from your collection - it should then ask you to select a region
    once you have selected your appropriate region (remember that you only get so many changes) - try inserting your idvd disc and see how you get on - it should now recognise it and play fine

    Ok, see, i was dowloading some songs off of http://www.youtube-mp3.org. I dragged the songs into my itunes library, but when i looked, they weren't in there. so i looked at my ipod and the songs i downloaded were on it! i dont know how either! i tried to back up my downloaded songs so i could restore it to see if that would help, but there wasn't an option for me to back up my ipod when i right clicked on it. i looked atsome of the other forums about the "AppData" solution. it said to delete the corrupted file if there was one, but i dont know what to look for. can someone please help me? this is driving me crazy.

    Issues with sending and receiving MMS
    You will need these to send and receive MMS:
    - An iPhone 3G or later.
    - iOS 3.1 or later.
    - A cellular data connection. MMS isn't available if you are using only Wi-Fi.
    - A domestic MMS plan from your cellular provider. You may need an international messaging plan to send MMS to an international contact. Contact your carrier for more information.
    - A roaming MMS when using a cellular provider's network different from your billing cellular provider's network. Learn more about roaming and contact your carrier for more information.
    To resolve issues with sending and receiving MMS, follow these steps first
    1. Go to Settings and turn airplane mode off.
    2. Go to Settings > Messages and turn MMS Messaging on.

  • (sigh) Can someone please help??? I'm ready to throw in the towel on my SECOND Mic

    So my first Zen Micro froze on me. No amount of tech support could save it. I returned it and received a new replacement. Within days my replacement had begun to freeze, and I would bravely pull out the battery and reboot it. I think (keep your fingers crossed) that I've unstuck whatever that bug was. NOW - my new issue - the dreaded "No license to play - please sync from PC" error. So, reluctantly, I downloaded the 2..05 Beta firmware, which as far as I understood it, resolved this issue specifically. After a successful download and install, I rebooted in hopes that it would be fixed. Well, it's still giving me the error. I cannot for the life of me figure out what I am doing wrong. And I am down to one download on all of my Napster 2 Go songs (due to the same problem on my first Micro). So I have three choices:
    ) Ask all of you what I can to do get this resolved easily.
    2) Delete my entire library, and use my last sync license and load it all onto my Micro again (which is a good hour project)
    3) Gi've up an buy an iPod. I am pulling out my hair in frustration, and I'm telling you... I always felt the same way you all did about Apple and the iPod. But the reality is, NONE of my friends have my harware/software issues. All I ask for is two consecuti've weeks of listening to my MP3 player without license issues, frozen hard dri'ves, reboots, pulling out the battery numerous times, etc. I just want to listen.... turn it off.... and know that it will turn back on again when I want it to.
    Someone please help, and convince me that I should give this one last shot!!

    Well, it's perfectly understandable that your iPod-bearing friends don't have issues with N2Go, because they can't use it!
    So I guess you have to determine whether your problems lie with the actual player or the N2Go service.
    Do you have problems playing/synching songs you've ripped yourself or that you've bought from a service other than N2Go?

    Close All Open Apps... Sign Out of your Account... Perform a Reset... Try again...
    Reset  ( No Data will be Lost )
    Press and Hold the Sleep/Wake Button and the Home Button at the Same Time...
    Wait for the Apple logo to Appear...
    Usually takes about 15 - 20 Seconds... ( But can take Longer...)
    Release the Buttons...
    If no joy...
    Reset all settings
    Settings > General > Reset > Reset all Settings.
    This will return all iDevice settings to factory defaults... you will not lose any data.... But you will have to re-enter all of the device settings.
    If the issue persists...
    Connect to iTunes on the computer you usually Sync with and Restore

    Yes, you have WD software installed  REMOVE IT !! 
    WD has warned its customers about their huge mistake that their software doesnt work on Mavericks and causes data loss.
