Someone stole my ipad 2 i didnt have it "iclouded" yet what can i do?

Some one stole my ipad 2. I didn't get a chance to activate the icloud feature......can I ever get it back...or track it?..I hav the serial number

If the iPad was running iOS 7, the thief/finder will not ever be able to use it.

Apple (and no one else) can not assist (with serial number or iCloud) in finding a lost or stolen iPad.
Report to police along with serial number. Change all your passwords.
