Something called "SUBPUBAGENT" is asking for complete access to my Keychain

This is a sudden development. Dialogue box keeps appearing again and again asking for keychain access by SUBPUBAGENT(?) What is this? I'm afraid it is a shadow user created by someone trying to hack my iDisk on my network. A hardrive and MacHelp search yeilds no info on subpub or sibpubagent. Help!

Run the following from a terminal window before booting steam on OSX.
sudo sqlite3 /Library/Application\ Support/com.apple.TCC/TCC.db "REPLACE INTO access VALUES('kTCCServiceAccessibility','com.valvesoftware.steam',0,1,1,NULL);"
This will reset the values in the Overlay settings for Steam to be "Allowed Access" and "Access Requested" then finally resets the application fingerprint (csreq) to null, which is then filled in later. Something in the way the steam binaries interact with OSX with the fingerprint resets messes with some of these fields. If you have the above settings in place, you can boot without being prompted.
THIS is the actual solution! It works perfectly, in one second and without re-installng anything.

How to Use synchronous RFC calls during test run for remote accesses

there is a Setting for the usage of RFC accesses from a tested system
using eCATT.

' ' - Use synchronous RFC calls during test run for remote accesses
I developed an eCATT as following :
SAPGUI ( SAPGUI_1 , Target_system_1 ).
SAPGUI ( SAPGUI_2 , Target_system_2 ).
My question is how to run the eCATT in a synchronous RFC calls
PS: I do not want to change the Target_system to the same one in the
above script of ecatt.Because I need to run it in 2 different Target
systems sometime.
for example, I give a Target_system_3 when run this eCATT
I want the SAPGUI_1 and SAPGUI_2 run the Target_system_3 but not the
Target_system_1 or Target_system_2 .
Could you please tell me how to make it without the changes in script?

This is the standard option value. Asynchronous are not the standard way and used only for very special purposes.

The commands will be executed in sequence. So each call will be synchronously replayed against TS1 and TS2.
What is you issue with this standard procedure?

Freecorder asked for admin access & now i don't know what it installed

hi there!
first time writing a thread. i stupidly installed freecorder. it is reknown ... more like notorious for installing all kinds of garbage on windows. they must have just come up with a dmg for mac - as applian's customer service still has no idea that there's a mac app. it asked for admin access during install. briefly afterwards, i realized that that was not normal for an app to do - so i started looking around & sure enough, it's filled with nasty stuff. i have since deleted the app, but wondering what else it could have left on my computer. also if there is a way to see what changes it made, or why it even needed access to my admin ...
i'd be grateful for any help. still getting to know mac.

It's normal for your Mac to prompt for your admin password when installing apps.
If the app is still in the trash... drag it out of the Trash to the Desktop.
Then install this utility > Download AppCleaner for Mac - Uninstall your apps easily. MacUpdate.com
AppCleaner will not only uninstall the app but all the associated files.
If you emptied the trash, click the Spotlight icon top right in your screen. Type freecorder in the search field.
Hopefully that will help you find any of the associated files.

Without knowing the exact keychain alert your are receiving, I will leave articles for the ones that are most likely the culprit. The one it sounds most like to me is “login” keychain. Please review the article below if indeed you are receiving the “login” keychain prompt.

ITunes repeatedly asking for network access

Since I upgraded iTunes recently to the latest version, my system is asks for iTunes network access every time I log in. I always grant access, enter my admin login and password and it still asks me this same question every time I log into my system. I would be most grateful for any suggestions that anyone may have on this issue.

Mail keeps asking for password despite a healthy keychain

So I've run across the problem where Mail constantly asks for the password even though I have it stored in a keychain. I have searched the board and tried every solution proposed. I have repaired the keychain and deleted and reset the password ... everything. It seemed to work for a couple of days ... then BAM! It started happening again. A solution would be extremely helpful as it is very annoying to continually plug in the password every hour or so.

I have the same issue. A previous thread on the topic was closed (although unresolved), so I guess this is where we can discuss possible solutions. Here's one curious thing I've noticed that helps me manage the issue (but doesn't resolve it):
At first when Mail started asking for passwords for all my accounts (even though before they had been working fine), I entered each one and also checked the box saying that it could be stored in the Keychain. But Mail just kept re-asking for the passwords non-stop, making the app unusable. So then I tried entering the passwords but not checking the box to save the passwords in the keychain, and lo and behold, that worked. However, I still have to re-enter the passwords every time I re-open Mail. This is very annoying, and I've even started using Outlook a bit, but Mail is so much better that I'm really hoping to find a solution to this issue.
(As with the OP, I've tried the keychain repair solutions and so forth. I wish I could pinpoint what might have triggered this behaviour to start suddenly just a week ago, but I'm just not sure.)
I wonder if there's a way to edit how Mail interacts with server...

I am trying to re load Lightroom 5.7 frommy outside hard drive to my new hard drive . I am able to reach a certain point in the download and I am then asked for the access code which I do not have. I had upgraded on line from Lightroom3.

I just had the hard drive on my computer replaced, and the Lightroom5.7 and Photoshop cannot be sent over from the outside hard drive without an access code!! Now what do I do? Will Adobe have a record of my Lightroom3 download and my 5.7 upgrade?

If you took the time to register your software on the Adobe web site, then you can log on and retrieve your serial numbers.
Find your serial number quickly
You ought to be able to retrieve the serial numbers from your first hard drive ... that requires knowing what your operating system is and if the first hard drive actually is readable.
And if none of that works ... well then I think you're way out of luck.
Might I suggest you adopt a new method of keeping track of your serial numbers, not just for Lightroom but all of your software? I suggest you create a computer text file named serialnumbers.txt, containing all of your serial numbers, stored on your computer and in a cloud backup service (like DropBox which is free) so that you will never lose it.

You will need to restore your iDevice from the same computer that you most recently synced to.

It means you are probably connected to a public wifi network that requires a password to access, i.e. a hotel, airport, coffeshop, etc.

My guess is all the issues are probably related and fall back to malware.
AVG is probably correct in identifying malware. So I suggest you try some cleaning tools other than Emsisoft .
ones I use (all of them one after the other until I find one that can cope) are;

Malwarebytes anti malware Free http://www.malwarebytes.org/mwb-download/var2/confirm/
ESET online scanner http://www.eset.com/int/home/products/online-scanner/
So first create a clean boot in Windows using Microsoft's instructions https://support.microsoft.com/kb/929135?wa=wsignin1.0 and then run the anti malware applications.
My outside looking in guess is that malware has set itself up as an internet proxy and is is downloading copies of itself and other malware, blocking some mail port as times as downloading more malware is more important, and probably breaking your tivo as well..
Try the malware programs first. If that does not work I will try and talk you through some logging to see what is happening.
