Something dodgy going on with Adobe billing?

Suddenly my 'details' changed (for 3 months the payments went through fine) but now there was a problem, and I picked up that someone has changed the last diget of the credit card details on my profile. I was provided 'a secure link' in the support chat to 'update my details'. I declined and updated it directly on my profile. Am I just paranoid or is something fishy going on here?

Something is going on with my Itunes...I open up my itunes and the loading icon [the rainbow wheel] starts up. What is going on with Adobe Flash Player?

All of a sudden videos are either disappearing from my website, leaving just blank boxes or grey boxes with error messages, saying that Flash player has crashed, and added videos don't appear??????
I've been reading all the forums to find out what's going on, but everyone is getting frustrated with Adobe for not dealing with it.
Is there an alternative to Adobe?

You are correct. Adobe is having a huge problem and not admitting to it. I called adobe and the guy wanted $39 to help me fix it over the phone and when I asked if he has heard of many problems with this issue, he denied it. This forum is your best hope. It looks like they, thusfar, have helped many people and I am dealing with my own issues and have someone assisting me daily, but it is a step by step process. Just keep checking back on your post here and someone will be back with you. Just add some more details to your post such as your operating system, browsers and versions, antivirus software and if you are the administrator and you will save some time because that is probably what they will ask you first anyway. Good luck...this is extremely frustrating for me as well. My computer is less than 4 months old and I haven't really changed anything.

[Help]Something Wired Going on with Apple TV

Right, My Apple TV stays connected to the internet. it plays the radio fine. But when ever i try to play music from my iTunes libery on my mac for some reason after like 5-20 mins it's stop working and then i have to reselect the song for it play? (Hope you understand)

What's Going On With Adobe's New Upgrade Policy?

My old system died today, so I quickly finished the new system I was building to get up and running as quickly as possible. I tried to re-install my 2 year old copy of CS5 on the new machine, and see at the licenseing step that I had to have either CS3 or 4 extended serial numbers, or a CS2 number. I had CS2 many years ago, but that's long gone. I still have my standard copy of CS3--which was good enough for upgrading when I bought CS5 and originally installed itunder current upgrade terms at the time. Now it seems it's not good enough even to reinstall on a new box. And to top things off, Adobe takes weekends off, so I can't even get this resolved until Monday. How much is Adobe paying these days for lost time when they lock you out of your legally owned and licensed Adobe product? Why can't I even go from CS3 to CS5? I thought that was going to be the new, revised requirement, but I can't even do that.
Can you tell I'm a bit upset? I need access to PS and Bridge NOW, and I can't do anything. I've been told Adobe is far from customer friendly these days, but I had no idea just how true that is.
Is there some sort of work-around, or am I just out of luck until Monday? Thanks...

Thanks for responding, guys. (Yes, this is actually Hilstudio1--I seem to have logged in with an old email address I used to use--but not on the forums--and Adobe wanted me to choose a screen name. Couldn't find a way to log out and then rejoin with the Hilstudio1 email, so now I have two names!)
Anyway, the old machine died with a corrupted OS (long story, but my fault) and my repair guy came by, spent about 2 hours (but only charged me for one), and said forget this machine, just finish the new one. That's what I did. of course, this meant I was not able to deactivate PS before I installed a fresh copy of CS5 on the new box. When I tried to enter the license, I started having issues, long before getting to the activation point.
I originally upgraded two years or so ago to CS5 from CS3, and that was not an issue. And Saturday, I was able to enter the CS5 license ok, but when I entered the CS3 license as the upgraded product, I was told it wasn't an eligible product to use for an upgrade to CS5. It had to be either CS2, or CS3/4 extended. If CS3 standard was good enough to upgrade to CS5 standard two years ago, why not now? I was finally able to find my CS2 registration here on the Adobe site, and it did accept that license. So, I finally got licensed, but I still don't understand the issue that causes the CS3 licence to be ineligible now.
And today, even though I was able to *initially* activate CS5 on the new machine, I'm getting an inelligible for activation message, because it's already installed on two computers. True, but I can't inactivate the old one 'cause it's dead and gone. Why not have a 'button' to push that will start some process in events such as mine--or maybe just keep customer service hours that are comparable to most other large software companies? The inability to deactivate a copy of PS because of a dead computer can't be all that uncommon. I'm so happy that Adobe finds they can maintain banker's hours for customer support while their efforts to protect against even a quarter's worth of potential illegal software use goes on 24/7, affecting even legally licensed users doing nothing wrong. (Yeah, I'm still just a tad upset! )

Something weird going on with this forum?

I'm getting "safari cannot find the page because of a problem with the network connection a lot on this board today! Also when I hit refresh the font and layout alters! Also some of the icons are not appearing.
Is this a result of some "improvement" that it took all weekend to make?

The error i keep getting says
"Safari can’t open the page “http://discussions.info.apple.com/category.jspa?categoryID=132”. The error was: “lost network connection” (NSURLErrorDomain:-1005)"
and if I hit reload, the page usually comes through. I have tried deleting the Safari cache, and every other site I visit is working fine.
So what is going on here?

Something odd going on with OB3 window resizing

Suddenly, only the top corners of decorated windows can be dragged to change window size - not the edges, and not the bottom corners. Which OB3 theme I use seems to have nothing to do with this. Anyone know what's going on?

Thanks, that works... Don't know why it wasn't working before with other themes, probably tiredness and stupidity on my part.
(Anyway the default grip size seems to be 3 pixels, I'll have to mention this to the guy who made this theme.)

Something ia going on with FM Stations via Zen Mi

I have this problem since i upgraded the firmware of my Zen Micro.
Before upgrading, when i was listening to a radio station (let's say 96.90, which i had saved as preset) and for accident i "touched" the forward button, and got at 96.95, then i pressed the "Back" button and when i returned to the FM stations, i still had the preset No. at 96.90 etc.
With my new upgrade, when i make a "mistake" like the one i described before, and i press the "Back" button, when i return to the FM stations, i cannot choose the saved preset I want - any preset at all. All I have to do, to appear the presets again, is to save a band as a new preset and then i get all my presets back.
Does anyone else have this problem?

Are you using the play button to toggle between presets and non-preset mode? If you make a "mistake" there's no need to back out of the FM radio function and then go back in... that sounds like what you're doing, if I understand you correctly.

Something´s going wrong with select distinct (Oracle 10g)

Our database is oracle 10g release 2 and the query statement is:
select distinct last_name
from students;
and the query returns all of the last_names without an specific order..
If I execute the same query in oracle 9i the query returns all of the last_name in alphabetic order.
Why is it different on Oracle 10g?

The Basic Troubleshooting Steps are:
Restart... Reset... Restore from Backup... Restore as New...

If you try all these steps and you still have issues... Then a Visit to an Apple Store or AASP (Authorized Apple Service Provider) is the Next Step...

If it says your billing info is wrong that means that your credit card issuer is refusing to approve your account. You will have to solve the problem with your bank or credit card company.

Right click on your iPad's name in the iTunes app on your computer and choose to transfer purchases. That should transfer anything that you have bought with the App Store app on the iPad to the iTunes app on your computer.

Try assigning Queen as the Album Artist on the compilations in iTunes on your computer.

you should deactivate (help>deactivate) that installation on the old workstation. then download and install on your new work station using your serial number. (ie, make sure you can find your serial number - if you need help with this, let us know.)
