Something I did not know about in the update
Even though they did nothing to help out sorting your movies. They did however do a little bit for tv shows. When you go to your tv shows it now displays the episode number and also displays a line that separates the season and tells the season number. I know it is a little thing but before you have to look at the description to tell what season you episode was in. I have all 10 season of Stargate SG1 and it was a little annoying that they were just in one big list.
It depends. if the message that you are getting it coming though as a imessage or a text message.
imessage will go to any idevice that is using your apple ID. That's how you can send imessage's to IPod's IPhone's ect.
You can tell If it's a imessage Beacuse the Message will Be in a Blue Bubble. If it's a Normal text message it will Be in a green bubble.

I had typed in data before and this had caused problems but restoring defaults did not cause correct dates to show up in Finder.
It sounds like there are a couple things going on here. First check if you have a successful install of SQL Server, then we'll figure out the connection issues.
Can you launch SQL Server Configuration Manager and check for SQL Server (MSSQLSERVER) if default instance or SQL Server (other name) if you've configured your instance as a named instance. Once you find this, make sure the service is started.
If not started, try to start it and see if it throws an error. If you get an error, post the error message your hitting. If the service starts, you can then launch SSMS and try to connect. If you have a default instance, you can use the machine
name in the connection dialog. Ex: "COWBOYS" where Cowboys is the machine name. However, if you named the SQL Server instance during install, you'll need to connect using the machine\instance format. Ex: COWBOYS\Romo (where Romo
is the instance name you set during install).
You can also look at the summary.txt file in the SQL Server setup error logs to see what happened on the most recent install. Past install history is archived in the log folder if you need to dig those up to help troubleshoot, but the most
recent one may help get to the bottom of it if there is an issue with setup detecting a prior instance that needs to be repaired.

I did not know about iCloud until after my iPad2 was stolen but I know the serial number so is there any hope the thief can be tracked when he or she logs in to the Apple store etc? thanks
iOS devices cannnot be tracked or located with just the serial number. Unless you shared your Apple ID and password with anyone, then your account cannot be accessed at the iTunes Store.

I uploaded the upgrade to Photoshop Elements 12 today. I got a "dispatching error" for Photoshop Elements, but was able to download Premier elements! I did not order Premier Elements, so I'm confused (unless this was a package that I did not know about). I really want the Photoshop Elements upgrade - not Premier Elements. I do hope I did not pay for both - I only want one. Help!
Maryrhire910 I am sorry that you are facing difficulty downloading and installing Photoshop Elements 12. Are you downloading the installation files from Download Photoshop Elements products | 13, 12, 11, 10? If so what specific error are you receiving?

Since I updated to firefox 3.6 I keep gettin multiple pop up windows. This did not happen until after the update. The pop ups appear as regular windows so pop up blockers can not stop them. Why has the new update made my laptop more vulnerable. updates are supposed to be improvements!

== as soon as I updated to ver 3.6Im having the same problem, I updated my Iphone 4S to 6.1.3, shortly after that my phone had no audio. It was working fine one minute and then stopped. Was listening to music when sound gave out on me. It wont ring, phone just vibrates even after turning off vibration option. I've tried all the options listed and nothing. My phone has never been jailbroken either. If I connect the earphones is works perfectly. On one of my last calls received, phone's ringtone was heard for about 2 seconds before muting and just vibrating. Ringtone sounded perfect, speakers did not sound damaged.
What else could be done? I've read several post regarding this and it seems like Apple has no solution to this yet. Very dissappointed. -
I am having problems when i have minimized windows and try to open a new window it will open all minimized windows along with the new window. It just changed when mozzilla updated. It did not do this before the update. Before the update if i had minimized windows they would stay minimized when i opened a new window. Please help ,I would guess it is just a setting somewhere but i cannot figure out where the setting is. Thanks jason
This issue can be caused by the ASK.com Toolbar.
Start Firefox in <u>[[Safe Mode]]</u> to check if one of the extensions or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).

i want help, not the same comments that i will not be helped. i admit my fault as the owner that i had the accident, but i believed that i was secured with my warranty. otherwise i would ha decided to do not have it if i was going to be the one paying to be fixed... how can i still trust Aplee Corp if the are not helping me with a devise that i paid the price that they decided giving me a warranty to be sure that i am secure while i use my devise. now i would like to know if i can have a refund of the warranty because i am looking for a different way to fix it because i have to pay and pay. but i paid for this situation and i had such assintance leaving me aside telling me that i am hopeless and also that i have to pay more and more.

It never - ever has. The manufacturer's warranty covers you against faults due to manufacturing. (So if the screen did crack due to a manufacturing defect, Apple warranty would cover it, BUT - Apple would be aware and would be able to identify the cause of a cracked screen due to manufacturing defects, so ...)

If they are in-app purchases on a device then you can turn them off on it via Settings > General > Restrictions > In-App Purchases 'off' - and, depending upon the iOS version on it, you might have a Require Password setting on the Restrictions screen which you can set to 'Immediately' (the default is a 15 minute period during which it doesn't need re-entering.
If the purchases were done on your computer's iTunes then the same 15 minute period for passwords applies, but you can log out of your account via the Store > Sign Out menu option. -
i just bought a ipod on ebay and seller does not know passcode if i go to the apple store can they fix my problem?
Place the iOS device in Recovery Mode and then connect to your computer and restore via iTunes. The iPod will be erased.
iOS: Forgot passcode or device disabled
If recovery mode does not work try DFU mode.

If problem what happens or does not happen and when in the instructions? When you successfully get the iPod in recovery mode and connect to computer iTunes should say it found an iPod in recovery mode.
The previous owner still has to remove the device from their account in order for you to activate the iPod. -

We, me and my wife, were on vacation in USA when decided to take the opportunity and buy two iPhones 4 and one iPad. We did it, and the iPad is working just fine, it's great and we are enjoying it, but the other two iPhones 4... We are not being able to make them work... When I was buying it at Orlando's Apple Store, I told the person who was assisting (salling) me (Orlando's Apple Store employee)about my intention to use it down here in Brazil, and we were oriented to buy it without the AT&T's contract (and because of that, we end up paying the FULL PRICE). I was not aware of this "AT&T lock"... So, what should I do now, in order to get these two iPhones 4 ready to work with a Brazilian carrier?

Right clicking is not working on any of the websites. I read up that it's a Yahoo sidebar issue. But, in my extentions, Yahoo sidebar is not there. I had removed all toolbars, but from 'view' menu. Now how do I get my right click to work?

Help! When I went to restore back up for my Iphone after downloading software update, it asked for password which I did not know. Apparently the box for encrypt had been checked but I do not recall anywhere indicating I needed to choose password. I was sent back to page with 2 options - set up new phone OR restore from back up WHICH I CANNOT DO WOTHOUT PASSWORD. wHAT DO i DO?

The iphone is designed to be synced to your computer or cloud service regularly. If she failed to do this, then they are likely gone. -
I purchased my new Mac Book Pro 13 inch last Fall 2011. I started using the book in March 2012. I am new users of the Mac book and apple world. Try going to the APPLE in the upper left of the screen and click on it , you will get a drop down with several choices , click on about this mac and you will get a pop up with description of your Mac system , click on the more info tab and you will see a complete listing of you system.

open ITunes and click on ITunes Store,if you do not have an apple id yo will need to create one, look for a tab that says redeem and click on it you will be prompted to enter the code on the back of the card , follow instructions and you should be good to go.
