Hi!?Ive recently aquired a new computer. With a sound card i can't really decide upon which it is. Its either a X-fi audio or an X-fi platinum. My DxDiag says "SB X-fi Audio" but i have X-fi Platinum drivers installed. I have modell nr i think.. SB0670Now i have a problem when i try to talk over ventrilo or teamspeak and at the same time play a game. A more newer game like Rainbow 6 vegas or Neverwinter nights 2. I start to lagg. I just lagg out to everyone else. But when im not playing any games im perfectly fine. No lagg at all. I think this all started when i installed the newest drivers for the Platinum card. Thats what i recall could be the problem for it, Thou im not very sure!?Ive tried numerous thing to try and fix it. Ive reversed my drivers for the sound card, Ive reinstalled my whole computer twice. Ive tried to update my BIOS for the mother board but never succeded, Ive tried turning down the hardware acceleration. But nothing works!!?Please help me! It's starting to get really annyoing. And if you don't understood anythinf of what i've jsut typed, jsut ask. Ive got the answers!?Thank you!

Screen zoomed can't undo with hard reset or full restore!

I was playing with a particle App and the screen zoomed. It zoomed back but then zoomed again and froze - I tried resets, hard resets, and finally full restore (iOS 4.1) and it still starts up looking normal then suddenly without touching the phone, the screen zooms and you cannot pan.
Is this a hardware failure of some kind? Has anyone experienced this before?

These useless 'quick buttons' are VERY annoying (2 unitended taps with 3 fingers or 3 unintended clicks with the home button etc.)
Maybe we have people around us that know these tricks, and play games with us, but ....I already restored my phone twice for a perceived VIRUS.
1st time all remained in photo negative (press home button 3 x which I did not know). Lost all my data and the iPhone remaind in negative until someone gave me the 'code' to resolve this. (Really looks like something is wroing: who would want 'negative' as a homebutton feature...?
Then this 'unresolvable' zoom occured today which made me sick and restore. Until I read this forum.
Apple used to be the ultimate 'user friendly' 'foolproof' company, and we all might be fools, but who the **** would want to have a MEGA zoom feature that disallows any operation of your phone and remains even after a restart?!

PLEASE TAKE THESE 'SHORTCUT ACTIVATION' FEATURES OUT of the primary interface
and make many unintended users happy!!
And if they need to be there, put them in the 'settings' menu, because just look at the Forums and draw your own conclusions !!

3 beeps means something is wroing with your dimm slots or the dimms themselves.
Try reseating the ram.

Touch screen Zoomed out totally and is almost frozen.

Tried switching off, reset, restore via i-tunes etc..

Narrow screen display on G530

I have a Lenovo G530 that I recently purchased new. Sometimes the display does not use up the entire screen, leaving a black space about an inch wide on either side. I tried changing the screen resolution, but that didn't help. It does not do it all the time, but lately it is doing it most of the time.
Can anyone help me with this?

Ovi Suite installation fails: something's gone wro...

Ovi suite installation fails: "Something's gone wrong. Nokia Ovi Suite Installation requires that PC Connectivity Solution 7.0.0.0 or later is installed before you can continue." I tried all possible options; removing all related items, drivers, registry entries. Nothing helps. No decent logging. Where can I find this PC Connectivity Solution? No decent help. Complete lack of information. After failure, lots of items are still installed and remain. No decent rollback. Windows installer cleanup is no longer available from Microsoft due to issues. So I'm stuck with an invalid piece of installed software. Just tried the third time I'm giving up. Spent the whole day on this. Has this been tested properly anyway on Windows 7 32 bits? The message in itself "something's gone wrong" does not really give me any hope on this. Please provide a solution.

Am I doing something wro

I just started using my Nano Plus. I downloaded an e-book from my library in protected wma format. It plays fine on my computer using the Media Source Organizer. Using the Organizer, I copied it to my Nano. The only other thing on my Nano is the Intro that came with it. When I scroll to my e-book and try to play it, it switches to the Intro and plays the Intro. I can't get it to play the e-book although it appears to be there. Thanks for your help. I can't find any documentation on playing audio books. I'd also like to know how to bookmark my book - assuming I can get it to play!

Glad to hear that. I believe you might have done it wrongly using MediaSource as that should work too. In MediaSource, you should transfer the audio files to the Zen player listing and not to the My Computer->Removable disk listing.

Play modes (i'm doing something wro

Let's say I want to listen to only one artist and I have a few albums of this artist on my Zen Micro. Now lets say I want to shuffle the songs only from that artist. Can I do this without making a specific playlist? I can't figure out how to to do it. Thanks!!!

Selkie: It's pretty easy. Go to the artist in the Music Library on the player, and press play to queue all the tracks. Then change the play mode to shuffle, if it isn't already.

Good catch. That almost certainly is an invitation to download malware.
There are a lot of infected web sites pushing "fake antivirus" software. If you have any doubts about whether your system might have become infected, you can supplement your regular security software with these two highly regarded scanners:

I would want to retrieve a node using a unique 'id', for example the absolute index (into the total nodes count)
Is there something like this ?
Can I add a particular property to a node ? ( for example this 'id' if it does not exist )

1. Go to the Apple Menu at the top left of the screen
2. Select Software Update...
3. Install any updates that are found.
If the Amazon issue continues after these updates, then do this:
1. Open Safari
2. Erase any web address you have currently showing (for example www.apple.com or www.google.com)
3. Type in www.amazon.com
4. That should take you directly to amazon.com

I cannot change from grid view to list view when i contol click on the downloads folder on the dock am i doing something wrong? if so how do i change the ?view in the dock

Just installed Firefox 4. It hangs when I open any website and type in, for example, an ID, or even just click on something, for example, "Compose", in my webmail site.

Here's the detail of what happens.
1. Turn on computer and then click on Firefox icon on desktop.
2. Firefox opens. Everything looks OK. Mr Bunsen's graphic is working fine.
3. Click on any webpage link. For example, a newspaper or an online webmail page. All looks OK until
4. Click on anything or type anything, such as in ID in a box, and bingo, the top line of Firefox goes from dark blue to very pale blue and the computer is hung. You cannot get out of Firefox or get Firefox to work.
5. Switch off computer.
Is this perhaps due to a clash of Add-ons. I run Avast anti-virus. McAfee came with Firefox 4 and I did not reject it. Is it conflicting wth something in my system and causing it to hang?
