Something REALLY Wrong Here

I spent the whole night putting this order form together and now the Submit button doesn't work. It is grayed out, but it blinks when you click on it. Nothing happens, though. I tried with the form open as well as closed.
The form was copied from another form that worked well. I made some changes to it, simplified it. Everything looks good, but it's not working.
There is one line item that has a skip logic function - it's supposed to show when any of several choices are made on the form, and is required. It does not appear in the test. Other than that everything is set up the way it should be.
Three times during creating this form, I got a popup from what looked like Adobe saying that my Acrobat Reader Pro was not up to date and pretty much forced me to click on the 'ok' to update. When I did, a few unwanted programs installed, but not Adobe reader or Flash or anything from Adobe. The installer did not look familiar. I uninstalled it promptly, but it did not affect FormCentral.
I'm stuck, leaving on a trip tomorrow morning (or this morning)

so, I am working on my website in Muse - and I added the order form onto one of the pages And it works!  I was able to complete the form and process through to PayPal. i saved the form as PDF on my desktop and filled it out and it worked. Only from within Muse, testing the form will not submit. I tried on another computer. Same thing

  • Something really wrong.

    Here is my problem... I just got a new replacement iPod (my old one had battery problems). And it worked perfectly fine when I first connected it to my iMac. But the second time, when I went to update, the computer was only charging it, no "Do Not Disconnect" on the iPod or anything, and it didn't even show up as a disk on the desktop. After a while, it came up with the Do Not Disconnect, and about half hour later it began updating, the next couple times I connected to the computer it was fine, until now... it got stuck when it was updating on a certain song, so I attempted to stop the update, so I could delete the song (I was losing my patience). But it wouldn't disconnect, and eventually iTunes froze up, so I restarted my computer, but when it was restarted it came up with a message something like "You have inserted a disk with volumes Mac OS X cannot recognize, do you want to continue with it?" I clicked ignore (to continue, because the other option was eject). But after that, the iPod didn't show up on iTunes or the desktop, but it still has the "Do Not Disconnect" on the iPod screen. I have no idea what is wrong with it, and I have tried restarting my computer and restarting the iPod, but nothing is working. So if anyone has any idea what happened, or what I can try to fix it, it would be really appreciated.

    Ok... I fixed the problem (sort of). I worked out that it came up on Disk Utility, so I went there, and repaired it, and erased, then disconnected it. Then it came up on iTunes and is now updating the songs. BUT there is one minor thing, on the desktop, it comes up as a normal disk, not as an iPod (it usually has the little blue iPod icon). I don't know why it does this, if it doesn't change anything, then I am fine with it, but if it is going to change something or cause problems in the future, it would be good to know how to fix it.

  • Theres something really wrong with Clean Up Diagram

    There appears to be some significant problems with the Clean Up Diagram algorithm. It seems that far too much space is padded next to cluster unbundle by name and structure objects. It is really frustrating that some things appear miles apart and others are far too close. I have done a very good job of factoring this application into VIs but the inconsistency around certain objects makes it look terrible.
    Help! I can't read it!
    PS: Prior to now I have been careful not to perform a Clean Up Diagram on the vi containing a case with a large number of sub cases.

    As for the feature being "new", it's NOT new.
    Diagram Cleanup was introduced with LabVIEW 8.6 last August. Since this is the latest major version it is a new feature by any reasonable definition.
    I agree that it is not great to be used on excellent code. So far it seems to bring the diagram quality somewhere in the neighborhood of the 70 percentile on my scale (wild guess!). It does a great job on horrible diagrams (it lifts them from very low score), but makes any of my own diagrams worse (they go from the 99 percentile down to 70). Don't expect miracles. I never use it on my own code, but it helped me to make some sense out of nightmare code posted here in the forum..

    Well, NI is always eager for product feedback, so if you have detailed and constructive ideas about how to improve the cleanup tool, please let them know via the product suggestion center. If possible, include some typical diagrams and describe what's wrong with the current outcome and how you want the results to look like instead. Good luck!

  • Something is wrong here...

    So here is my problem if anyone can help. I have iphone 4s and trying to put music on it. Yes i have done all the updates. It takes roughly around 10 minutes just to sync one song on my iphone. I have plenty of space to put music on there. So in the middle of syncing my iphone will make an error sign on itunes computer. My iphone will say on the screen "item could not be sync". But here is the weird problem when i look at what is "on my iphone" it says that song is on there and ready to play. So my iphone says it isnt on there but when i unplug my iphone from my computer and look in my music it is there and plays normally. Any way to fix this?

    Wierd...

  • There's something really wrong with linked files

    I have two days trying to solve this problem, but i can't.
    The demo movie has 6 linked images, 1 flash not linked and 1 flash
    linked. If i plublish this with director 10.1.1, everything is ok.
    But when i publish this in director 11, the linked files don't
    show. If i play the movie inside the dswmedia folder, works fine,
    but when i try it on a browser, don't work. Anybody can tell me
    what's wrong?
    sayeg

    Hi Sayeg,
    The Publish Settings have been enhanced in Director 11 for
    the Linked files publishing.
    If there are Linked files/casts in your movie then the
    "dswmedia" and "Linked files" folder are created automatically and
    the .dcr files will have internal links to these paths, relative to
    the main folder. This folder hierarchy should be maintained, else
    it will not work.

  • Did something really wrong.

    Hello guys,
    I had this problem of right click and than sometimes windows explorer crashes, so I fell on this topic but hadn't read carefully (stupid me) and I downloaded the reg. file from the third post, and put it in register. Now I rebooted my PC and saw that I can't
    open My Computer or something else related to Windows Explorer, now I see the reg. was for Windows 8 (I have Windows 7)
    Please help me guys, I'm pretty desperate, I searched for the reg. in the regeditor but can't find it.

    Press Ctrl + Alt + Del. Click File -> New Task ->
    explorer.exe. Check if that opens the explorer and navigate through folders. If so, take a backup of important files before doing anything further.
    If explorer.exe didn’t work, try typing c: and check if that opens up C drive.
    Regarding the .reg file. You won’t be able to see .reg file inside registry.  By opening .reg file, you are transferring the info inside .reg file to registry.
    So what you can do is
    Download the .reg file that you downloaded before, on another computer
    Right click on the file and select the option Open with, then select
    Notepad.
    Now you can see the entries inside the .reg file
    Check which entry is listed inside .reg file and what change does it make by executing the file
    Now go back to your original computer and undo the change made by the .reg file
    Hope you can fix this.

  • Something really wrong with my Mac

    The main problem is that when I turn it on it shows the apple logo and the little loading wheel under it but after letting it run for about four hours it hadn't started. To try and fix the problem I put in the Mac OS X disc and erased the operating system and re-installed it. Once I did that it ran fine again for about a week then the Mac froze and I turned it off and was stuck with the original problem again. I've repeated this process several times and keep getting the same problem. Is there any way I can get my Mac to run correctly again?

    There could be several things awry, first off, did you repair permissions after reinstalling? You can use Disk Utility to check your system:
    1. Insert the Mac OS X Install disc that came with your computer, then restart the computer while holding the C key.
    2. When your computer finishes starting up from the disc, choose Disk Utility from the Installer menu. (In Mac OS X 10.4 or later, you must select your language first.)
    Important: Do not click Continue in the first screen of the Installer. If you do, you must restart from the disc again to access Disk Utility.
    3. Click the First Aid tab.
    4. Click the disclosure triangle to the left of the hard drive icon to display the names of your hard disk volumes and partitions.
    5. Select your Mac OS X volume.
    6. Click Repair. Disk Utility checks and repairs the disk.
    After you have repaired the disk, use Disk Utility on your hard drive to repair permissions.
    You might also want to Rum Apple Hardware Test from an install disc, boot it holding down the D key, to make sure that there is nothing wrong there.
    If you don't have the iSight, open the back of the machine and check your [LEDs|http://support.apple.com/kb/HT2831].

  • Something's Wrong Here . . . (temperature)

    I could use some advice.  I think this problem is still just the incorrect temp reporting (about to try flashing to the 192b BIOS), but I have my doubts that this is the sole issue . . .
    My system specs should be in my signature.  I've been using this system regularly for about a month or so now with no problems what-so-ever.  It is a newcastle core and from the begginign the temps have been reported as about 52-54C, sicne I Flashed it from the original BIOS to 1.7 (which did not go smoothly at first) the temps have averaged about 55-57C idle, and go up to as high as 65-67 under load.  Case temp averages 40-45C, although I've seen it go up as high as 50 (but not since I added the extra fan)
    These temps are obviously to high, and I've been assuming that it's just the temp-reporting issue since it hasn't been causing any problems.  To be safe though, I have added a few extra fans in there.  I recently (earlier in the week) installed the AMD64 drivers in XP in order to get Cool `n Quiet Working (which it is).  Then this afternoon my computer shut itself down in the middle of UT2004, without any warning, and it did so normally (no errors, XP shut down as it would if you had done it from start menu).  Again while playing UT a few minutes ago the game minimized itself and a warning popped up that the computer would automatically shut down in a few seconds due to abnormal CPU temperatures.  The CPU temp when I checked it (about 30 seconds after this message and closing UT) was in it's normal mid-to-high 50s range.
    Out of curiousity, I just opened up the case, while the system was on, about 5-10 minutes after getting that warning and felt the heatsink, which was mostly cool to the touch.  I'm using the stock Heatsink/Thermal Compound and have not touched it since I put the system together.
    I'm still assuming/hoping that it's just the temp-reporting problem, since other than today's incident I haven't had any problems with the system in over a month - and that includes playing UT2004 and trying some other benchmarks that left CPU usage at 100% for extended periods.  A friend though said that the heatsink should have been at least warm to the touch (this is/was my first attempt at building a comp) if everythign is working properly . . . although there are several fans directed at that area (intake on the side, rear-exhaust, PSU with underside fan, blowhole on top of case, intake on front, noise that is just now starting to get to me)
    Thxs for reading all of this.  I'd appreciate any advise/reassurances on this to help satisfy my doubts.  For now, I've got to find where I put those extra floppies so I can Flash the BIOS . . .

    me_AMD: That's what I've been thinking, but I can't seem to get rid of my doubts . . .
    I am using CoreCenter, the temp Alarm is set to 70C, but I'm pretty sure it's the AMD64 drivers for XP themselves that was triggering the shutdown warning.  I guess it is definetly possible that the temp being reported might have reached 70 whiile playing UT, since I have seen it go as high as 67 or 68.
    I'm going to try Flashing (prolly not for another day or two though since I've got a lot of work/studying to do for my classes thsi week) my BIOS to 1.92b and see if that improves thigns to any degree.
    Since I added the 120mm exhaust in the back my comp now sounds like a vacuum cleaner though, but the sound seems to be coming from the original side-intake. . . but one thing at a time.
    Thxs for the quick replies

  • Okay - what am I doing wrong here RE:  ACR 5.6

    Hello all:
    Just downloaded ACR 5.6 and the Lightroom 2.6 update.  I have Elements versions 7 and 8.  After downloading ACR, I first went into the plug-in folders (file formats) of both Elements 7 and 8 and deleted the Camera RAW plug-ins.  Not a problem there.
    However, after unzipping the new ACR 5.6 plug-in and copying and pasting the new plug-in into the Elements 7 and 8 (file formats), when processing a RAW file, the ACR window that comes up within those two programs now shows "version 5.5."  At first I thought it was just a mistake in numbering on Adobe's part - meaning it was really 5.6, but mistakenly numbered 5.5.
    But when I tried to decode some RAW files from the supposed new camera data base (i.e. Olympus EP-2), none could be recognized, indicating that it was indeed version 5.5.
    Just to be safe, I deleted the plug-ins and re-downloaded the ACR-5.6 updates on several occasions - and in the end, all wound up being version 5.5 (according to the window when it comes up in Elements).
    Looks like a mistake on your downloads page - or I'm doing something terribly wrong here.  Again, I downloaded the right ACR 5.6 plug-in, but it is showing up as version 5.5 once unzipped and opened within Elements (by the way, the previous ACR plug-in I had there was version 5.6 Beta).
    Can anybody help here?  I'm hoping it's a mistake on Adobe's part.  What could I be doing wrong here?
    Lightroom 2.6 went just fine and it decodes all of the latest RAW files (i.e. Olympus EP-2).  My email address is:  [email protected]
    Thanks....

    Although you did that it sounds like there is still an ACR 5.5 in the path. Have you got another, possibly renamed, ACR 5.5 anywhere? What does Edit > About Plugins > Camera RAW say? Does it happen in both Elements 7 and 8.
    Have you followed the instruction in the following link carefully?

  • 2,900 songs, 23GB?? false advertising, or I'm doing something wrong here...

    Complete novice here. Just bought Ipod touch 16gb then upgraded to the 32 GB because I got about halfway through loading my CDs into iTunes when I noticed the GB showing in iTunes was exceeding the 16 GB Ipod... 16gb was advertised to hold ~3,500 songs along with hours and hours of video. So now I am up to 2,900 songs and it's 23GB - there's got to be something wrong here. If I go further, I won't be able to fit onto the new 32GB, nevermind even being able to put video, etc on it!! Talked to a guy at Best Buy and he was perplexed and felt that 2,000 songs should only be about 8GB..
    From spending hours on these boards looking for info, it appears that my import settings that were the default in iTunes (that I downloaded on 3/26/09) of AAC format and iTunes Plus, results in large file sizes....
    I have literally spent DAYS importing CDs and really don't want to redo it under different import settings... I noticed when I right click on my Itunes music folder>properties>general tab > click on advanced attributes, there is a checkbox that I can compress contents to save disk space.
    So question is
    1. is the above method appropriate to compress the files
    2. is there an easier way to 'convert' all my imported music (currently showing as MP4) to MP3 that would be smaller file size (if so, is there a downside to doing this?)
    3. could there be other reasons for this large file size or other ideas/suggestions??
    Thanks in advance!
    Tara

    Hey, now. This line scares me:
    "I guess I'll learn more over time about what material I want to carry around with me on the iPod vs. keeping stuff on the computer as I get used to it!"
    You should always keep it on the computer. If the only copy of a song is on your iPod, you are setting yourself up for a minor disaster. Sooner or later you will need to restore the iPod. There are any number of issues that can cause it to get wonky and unusable. When that happens, the troubleshooting always has the step "restore your iPod" somewhere in the order of repair.
    When you reach that step, *everything on the iPod is erased*. If you only had content on the iPod, not on your computer (or at least on a backup) you will lose the content. Period. No chance to recover it.
    Please, if you insist on deleting from the computer, ensure you backup. Heck, backup anyhow. It just makes good sense.

    Surely, though, you have the ability to actually create these objects in your system (or in some local development environment) in order to verify that the code you're posting compiles and shows the problem you're trying to demonstrate, right?
    Your package definition, for example, fails to compile because you're missing the TYPE in your declaration of G_TY_STUP_TAB

    45/17    PL/SQL: ORA-00913: too many valuesThose errors are the result of treating a nested table of records as if it was a single record. pr_stup_rec is defined to return a collection of records. If you're using a collection of records, you'd have to initialize the collection and you'd have to reference a particular element of the collection when you wanted to assign values. Something like this, for example, will declare a local variable of type pkg_1.g_ty_stup_tab, initialize the collection, add an element to the collection, and assign the values to the individual components of the record that is the first element in the collection
    SQL> ed
    Wrote file afiedt.buf
      1  declare
      2    l_collection pkg_1.g_ty_stup_tab := new pkg_1.g_ty_stup_tab();
      3  begin
      4    l_collection.extend;
      5    l_collection(1).id := 1;
      6    l_collection(1).step_id := 10;
      7    l_collection(1).stts := 'Foo';
      8* end;

    PL/SQL procedure successfully completed.Alternately, you could create a record type and add that as an element in your collection
    SQL> ed
    Wrote file afiedt.buf
      1  declare
      2    l_collection pkg_1.g_ty_stup_tab := new pkg_1.g_ty_stup_tab();
      3    l_record     pkg_1.g_typ_stup_rec;
      4  begin
      5    l_collection.extend;
      6    l_record.id := 1;
      7    l_record.step_id := 10;
      8    l_record.stts := 'Foo';
      9    l_collection(1) := l_record;
    10* end;
    SQL> /
    PL/SQL procedure successfully completed.But it's not obvious to me that you actually want to use a collection here. Perhaps you want your procedures to simply return a single record.
