Something STRANGE

Hi All,
I have procedure (in package) which returns cursor with simple select stmt, takes 2 input params. When I run that select stmt in backend with input params, it gives me result.
But when I calling same proc with same input params in JAVA, I am getting null result. It returning no values.
What would be the possible issues here?

Could be a VPDB (Virtual Private Database) or FGAC (Fime Grain Access Control) issue. Could be a scope issue (other words, you are not referencing the objects you think you are).

    The LCD Display connector has partially come loose from the logic board connector, and simply needs to be pressed back down into place. Or the front screen assembly is now faulty, and needs to be replaced again.

  • Noticed something strange after 10.5.6 update

    Has this happened to anyone else?
    I updated to 10,5,6 and now when I start up, there's something strange at the log in window.
    Right under MAC OS X, it shows "Marty's Mac Pro (2)" I never had a (2) before, and wonder if there is something wrong here. Same when I go into System Profiler, top left corner, the name of my Mac is Marty's Mac Pro (2).
    Help?

  • Something strange when archlinux start up

    Hi,
    I have something strange when archlinux starts up.
    At the beginning, the resolution of screen is the same with the resolution setting in menu.list of GRUB. Then after the prompt "bring up lookback interface OK", the screen splashes one time, then the resolution of screen changes to a higher one.
    Anybody has encountered this problems?

  • Something strange with google search..

    Something strange has happened with google...it's stuck on permanent zoom or something, like I have accessibility enabled, but I don't, and it only happens with google, everything else is normal. It's really zoomed in and blurry. The text is also chunky and kind of difficult to read..like it's too big for the search bar, and the little symbol on the search button is like off to the side, it's just clearly messed up. I've never had this problem before and can't figure out for the life of me what's causing it. It goes away if I switch to classic mode from tablet, but Id always used tablet prior to this and it was fine. I'd really like to fix tablet mode so I can use it or find a way to permentalety switch to classic because starting out on tablet and having to switch every time is a pain. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated, thanks.

    I know of no way for the Google search to automatically go the to Classic site. Google directs the browser to mobile site because you are using a mobile device. You cannot control that in mobile browser like Safari. If you were using another web browser idenitifed as a desktop browser, you could set the page to Classic and it will stay there. I use iCab Mobile (I gave up Safari ages ago) and I indentify the browser as Fire Fox 4.0 for Mac and it always takes me to the Classic site.
    One last time... this is where you are having this issue? Can you post a screen shot? Do you know how to do that? Hold down on the sleep button and then tap the home button and you will see the screen flash white and hear the camera shutter sound. That screen shot will be saved to the camera roll and it will be the last photo in the album.

    Have you tried a Restart and/or a Reset...
    Press the sleep/wake button & home button at the same time, keep pressing until you see the Apple logo, then release the buttons..

    My n70 was doing strange things year ago and its battery was going out of charge in 3 hours despite no use of it.
    I BOUGHT ANOTHER BATTERY BUT THE PROBLEM was present
    when 3g service enter my state ( egypt) , the problem was ended and the old battery was working well
    How can i understand what happened ??????

    yes i used different chargers but nothing changed
    now , no problem as i have said in my previous post after applying 3g service in egypt.
    it is ok now but only i want someone who can explain this strange action in my n 70

    the time 3g works well , my mobile works well and the time 3g works improperly due to the operator , my mobile is then becoming crazy as it closes itself , battery goes out of charge in 3 hours even i donot use it

  • Something strange on Access manager

    Hi all,
    I am successfully installed all Sun Java ES component. And the portal and gateway run smoothly. But now i am facing something strange about AM. When I login to the AMConsole, I find that there are many session which are using "AMADMIN" to login (around 120). And I checked the log file, those session are login from the same machine of AM. Is there any setting which can avoide it.

    You can call a javascript function to capture the closing of the browser (If a user clicks on the X button).
    Call the following javascript function on "onBeforeUnload" event of the <body> tag.This will be executed before the browser is unloaded and will logout the user before the browser closes.

  • Something strange is happening with Siri

    Whenever I use the voice function on the keyboard in an app which doesn't support the iOS7 keyboard, something strange happens. The three purple dots which usually appear in the text field when Siri is trying to work out what I said are no longer there. There is now a small emoji-like image of one of my applications.

  • Something strange appeared on my desktop.

    I already sent in an email but I needed to add to it, something strange appeared on my desktop, but I don't know what it is.  I think it is from a hacker and I would like to remove it from my computer, along with the update from apple (I think it was from a hacker), because I think that is how the hacker got into my computer.  Thank you, Carin

    i have a wireless card in my laptop.But,something strange happens.And i'm really confused:(.
    lspci | grep BCM43
    and i got:

    then type:

    i got:

    so, i think the "Broadcom BCM4312"page in archwiki(ie.http://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Broadcom_BCM4312)may help.so i just do as the wiki page.
    after that,i use Wicd to manage them.
    it seems evrything is ok:D. the wireless card was marked with  "eth1",and the previous "eth0".
    but,something strange happens: after  i reboot my laptop,then ,they exchange their "names"! the strangest thing is that it seems to happen randomly!
    for example,nothing happened since the day before yesterday.but.this morning,they changed
    and this is the "MODULE" line in my rc.conf:

    Notes on trying out netcfg:
    - install netcfg: pacman -S netcfg
    - set up a profile file in /etc/networks.d (copy a file from /etc/networks.d/examples and edit it)
    - add the name of the profile file to NETWORKS=() in /etc/rc.conf
    - add '@net-profiles' to DAEMONS=() in /etc/rc.conf (put it after 'network',  prefixed with '@' so you don't have to wait for the network just to log in)
    - remove the name of your interface that you want netcfg to set up from INTERFACES=() in /etc/rc.conf (so it doesn't try to set it up twice)
    - also turn off whatever other network configuration daemon, like wicd, you might have been using.

  • Something Strange Happening?

    I'm not sure if something strange is happening but:
    Yesterday, my co-workers hard-drive on his new Macbook Pro (just a couple months old) started slowing way down. We ran Verify Disk from Disk Utility and it recommended a Repair. We booted from the Leopard install DVD and tried to repair it but he unfortunately didn't get it to work and had to go to the Apple Store for a replacement.
    Today, almost 24 hour later, my hard drive started acting up with the same problems (only I was able to repair it with Disk Utility after booting from the install DVD).
    So I did some searching on the twitterverse, and I'm finding that in the past 24 hours there have been a few more cases of people losing the hard drives.
    Could it be that the recent apple update has an issue?? I just find it really odd that my machine, which has never had an issue nor shown any sign of oddity would start having an issue 24 hours after my co-worker, whose mac was brand new...
    Anything to be concerned about or false alarm and extremely convenient coincidence?

    It's hard to tell with hard drives--notebook hard drives have an average useful life of 3-5 years, but some fail almost immediately. I don't think a download would bother a healthy hard drive, but if the drive already had some problems, it might cause them to be more apparent.

    SMART Reporter is free and places an icon in your menu bar that is supposed to give early warning of impending hard drive failure. It actually did with the Fujitsu drive that originally shipped in my computer. I got a lot of reports of I/O errors, and when I checked with SMART Utility, the drive was failing, even though it had passed with no errors the week before when I was still under warranty.
    It's also prudent to verify the disk and repair it if necessary before downloading software. Doesn't hurt to repair permissions afterwards, even though there are a lot of them that don't get repaired.
    I can only say that with my WD Scorpio Black 500 GB drive, none of the recent updates have caused any issues.

  • Something strange happened while I was working with CS4

    I'm not sure whether I accidentally hit a keyboard shortcut or clicked on anything without knowing, but for whatever reason, my clips on the timeline weren't "snapping" into place when I move them around like they were before. Does anyone know why this is happening, and how I can reset it back to the way it previously was?
    Another strange thing that happened: I was resizing some footage to remove something from the side of the frame, but when I resized it, it didn't ask if I wanted to confirm this change and no box came up showing progress on rending the frames, like it normally does when I do this. I'm a little worried that it hasn't rendered them right.

    Resize where. Timeline, Effect Controls, AME? Be more precise.

    hello everyone,
                        Sometimes when starting my pc (from restart or cold start) maybe three out of ten times the keyboard wont work, its a standard microsoft ps/2 keyboard, I haven't got any suspend modes enabled so I was just wondering if anyone else has had this problem or knows how to fix it,
                        oh yeah os xp32, its bios 1.2 that came with the board haven't had any reason to update as all seems to be working well just this strange behaviour from the keyboard.

  • SOMETHING STRANGE WITH LAST YOUTUBE UPDATE

    i had auto updates selected & got a notification of 2 updates. when i selected update i got a message that "properties of the app had changed & it would affect the sd card, wi-fi & a few others".
    affecting the sd card by installing the update to the sd card & other items on card would be deleted.
    youtube app showed aug 8th & i'm not sure if the notification was for something later.
    anybody else see this?

    Ok, I seem to be fixed now.
    I had to do a new install (i opted for a clean install) and my imac wouldn't restart id just get a white screen. holding the power button to shutdown ant try to start up got it going but every time I restarted (not shut down then push the power button but restart as in update or just from the apple menu) it would stall at a white screen... I tried to reset the power management and permissions and the disk. also tried all extensions off. the strange thing was I could use the imac hard drive to boot up my macbook vis a firewire cable. I got the old firmware and set about putting the old firmware back on my imac.. now I have no sleep light and I didn't get the set o three tones and the firmware did not install... I couldn't get it to at all via the instructions here;

    I just get one long tone and thats it it then starts up with no backdate taking place????
    Anyway, it doesn't seem to matter it has fixed itself I have restarted the imac 6 times in a row and no stalling at the white screen... I hope it doesn't come back but if it does how will I reset the firmware to an older version when the instructions don't work??

    We all know that these forums are not particularly easy to navigate, especially for newcomers, who frequently end up posting their questions in the wrong forum, Well, something seems to have made things worse, st least in the forum in Spanish. Starting perhaps some two weeks ago, we are getting an increasing number of Spanish-speaking novates posting theit questions in English. At this moment, we have 8 threads started in English in the first page of the list of topics (30 threads).
    This is an exceptionally large number of lost participants. Unfortunately, none has explained why using a language they do not master when they could use their own, and we have not asked them explicitly for their reasons. To top it, a large proportion of them are of the "one post only" kind, so it would be anyway no use asking them.
    Anyone have any idea why we have this sudden invasion of messages posted in English in the forum in Spanish? And I don't mean witty ideas, but ideas that might help in solving what to many may be a small problem, but to me points to some recent  change in the path Spanish-speaking newcomers have to follow to post their questions.

    Yes, I know that, and up to about a couple of weeks go we had very ocasionally posts in other languages. However, right now the 30 most recent topics include 7 threads started in English. This is strange in a forum whose title is obviously in Spanish,
    and where the titles of most threads are also in Spanish. It is true that, as happens in other localized forums, all other fixed text in the page is in English, but this has been always so, so I don't think that this is the reason for this sudden increase in the number of posts written in English.
    We are asking each new writer in English why they did not write in Spanish, but have had no answer so far.
