Something wrong in ELF loader? help
my sunos is sloaris9, 32-bit , sparc9
after I use gcc compile a simple program , I run it,but error
root # ./test
./test: syntax error at line 1: `^?ELF^A^B^A^A^B^A^A\2504' unexpected
I use gcc -m64 or -m32, all error
my gcc'version is "SMCgcc342".
How can I do?
Please help me!
Hello.
Obviosly the file has not been recognized as binary file. The shell (and not the operating system) checks if the file is binary or not.
The same error occurs when typing "sh binary_file".
Use "/usr/ccs/bin/elfdump" to check if the file has the correct format.

You might need to send your iPhone back in to Apple, go to an apple store, or get a new iPhone unfortunately. I personally would go to an Apple Genius at the Apple Store. They're really good.

Something wrong here..need help
When logging on to Verizon.com a couple hours ago, my 2 year old PW was not recognized. Something about enhanced security, and had to be reset. OK, was able to do that and pay my bill.
However....... Immediately following, I tried to send an e-mail on OE, and received a OE Logon screen, which has a Remembered ID & PW. Could not get signed in. Just guessing, I then tried the above new verizon PW. didn't work either.
OK, I'll go to Tools/Accounts/Properties and reset. Zilch. OK, I'll create a new POP3 Account. Zilch
I know have an OE screen that says the messages in the Outbound Box "do not have a valid account and do I want to use the default account". When I hit the Yes button, I get the OE Logon screen again.
I'm an old guy that doesn't comprehend much about computers, but seems to me the above new verizon.com PW has screwed up my Outlook Express?
Any suggestions will be appreciated.
Oh... I used the new PW to access Yahoo.Verizon netmail....there are messages in the Inbox that are not going to my OE Inbox.

Something wrong with phone, please help!
My internet is working perfectly fine, but when I try to go into certain apps. Ex.facebook, YouTube, it says there is no internet. Also when I go into safari, and go onto a we page it says that the we page isn't recognized. PLEASE HELP.
Try an iPhone reset which is similar to a computer restart and is done by pressing and holding the home button and the sleep/wake or on/off button simultaneously until you see the Apple logo and then release.

Hi. Whenever I go through one of the menus in firefox, the links remain highlighted after my mouse passes over them. Is there a bug fix for this or is there something wrong with my computer? I am running windows 7 if that helps. This problem started ever since I upgraded to version 5.
I have downloaded and used the iPod Reset Utility, alot that did. My current state is iTunes on my XP Home with SP3 sees the iPod. When I drag a song to the iPod, the Sync message appears for about 5 minutes, then the Apple symbol appears. But no song has been transferred to the iPod.
I tried to tap into the XP iTunes database from my iBook, but although it acted like it would add the XP library to the iBook library, it did not. I've got 19 Gs of songs on the XP. If I have to load each song from its original CD to get it on my iBook I'm going to start looking for some other app or device so that I can listen to my music.
It is a shame, in the old days, Apple techs use to look at what was going on, now it appears they don't, so they never know they have problems until Apple's profits fall. -
My phone wont let me download anything even free stuff or update.it keep saying something wrong with my billing info so i fix it but still cant download.I signed out sign back in still nothing please help i'm getting angry
If it says your billing info is wrong that means that your credit card issuer is refusing to approve your account. You will have to solve the problem with your bank or credit card company.

Hello. So i Have tried to be using my Home Button, but everytime i seem to push it it wont go back to the home screen or quit an application. I havetried restarting ym Ipod and turning off and on but it doesnt seen to work. I think it might be the actal button that is sbroken or something. Does someone mind helping me out what wrong?? please?? Thank you!!!!!
Try this:
Calibrate Home Button
1. Open a stock application like Calendar, Weather or Youtube
2. Hold down the power button until the "slide to power off" control appears
3. As soon as you see it, press the Home button and keep it pressed until the red slider disappears and the app is forced quit to the Home menu -
HELP! Downloaded LR5 and when open it shows an error message saying error while trying to change from modules and I can not even import photos. Am I doing something wrong?
I have the same problem, and the solutions in Error changing modules | Lightroom do not work. Even uninstalling and reinstalling a new copy did not solve the problem. As anyone got an idea what other lingering files might be causing the problem?

Even when I charge my Mac Pro to the full bar, the battery seems to be drained even when I am not using it. Example, after charging it full, i switched it on the next day and its 79% battery left. Is there something wrong? help please
Assuming you are disconnecting from line power, when you say switched on, do you mean it was shutdown or in sleep mode? If sleep mode the battery will still drain because sleep still keeps some things active and the battery does drain a little. However, to go from 100% to 79% charge overnight is a bit excessive in sleep mode. Unless you have some processes set to activate over night by the cron file and do things like backup the system.
What are the statistics on the battery, the apple in the upper left corner, About This Mac, More Info, System Report, Hardware, Power...things like battery Condition, Capacity, remaining charge, voltage, current. -

I had the same problem- go to Utilities, General, Use Side Switch To, and change it from Mute to Lock Rotation- this solved the problem for me.

I am extremely afraid to do something wrong - what will be a failure so I loose all the photos I had in my iphoto library before installing the Mountain Lion.
I have just installed the MOUNTAIN-LION and now I can´t use my Iphoto-programme without answering the following question:
Choose another Library ? ( But I only want the choose the photos which one was in the old iPhoto-Library and not the other photos on the MAC-computer ? ).
and the other possibility is:
Create a new Libray ! Which iPhoto-library ?
And why create a new and to risq to loose the old photos.

Kind regards FINN GRABOWSKIOk. Let me first ask you, do you have any backups of your files - for example, do you use Time Machine or any other backup system?
Next, quit iPhoto. In the Finder, go to your Pictures folder. Is there a file there called iPhoto.Library? How large is it? (If it doesn't show the size, click once on it, click cmd-I to see the information). If it's a healthy size (ie, several GB), then that should be your library, and you can double-click it to launch iPhoto. (The application will remember where your library is next time, you can just launch iPhoto normally).
If that's not the right file, check your Trash. Is there anything in there?

It looks like the app is not currently in the App Store, I can't find it in the UK nor US stores.

Have you attempted an iTunes restore and setting up as a new device? Sometimes battery life issues can be caused by corrupted iOS software.

Some please help me. I tried to re start my iphone 4, but it went something wrong. instead of it turned black and tunred on again. it like a gray color. When i took out my card i can see the light inside it. what should i do turned it back on again..
At the AT&T store. Tried using iCloud but only 120 songs were transferred and when I access my iTunes account now it only shows 120 and not the 450 anymore that I purchased on my old phone. Tried to sync again from the phone to iTunes and it still not working.
I purchased everything under the same apple ID account I called apple support and spent almost 2 hours with tech support for assistance and we got disconected and they never called me back.
I'm at the point where I'm about to never purchase anything anymore from apple go to another company retrieve every single charge made on my bank account from iTunes and file a law suit against the company. It's being a week that I called for assistance and no one called me back to help me with this matter even after I responded a survey with a complaint about not getting a resolution to my problem.
If you could please help me I will appreciate, I'm out of the country now and can't stay on the phone for a long time.
