Apple sends emails to me in Dutch to one of my email addresses. My language is English. An Apple employee told me my initiating profile shows Dutch. He did not know how to change it. How do I?
(Note: When I bought my first Apple product, I used a Shaw email address. This year I changed my primary email address to a gmail one. The gmail one is apparently on my Apple profile. Nonetheless, the Dutch messages go to my Shaw email address.)

Hi, ruthrr.
This sounds like your language preference is set to Dutch on your Apple ID. I would go to My Apple ID, Manage Your Apple ID and change the language and contact preferences.

You might be able to set up the SMTP server settings in Mail to authenticate with a password. That may get the email through.
In Mail Preferences, Accounts, select the account.
Click on the Outgoing Mail Server (SMTP) popup menu and select Edit SMTP Server List
Select the Server and then click the Advanced tab at the bottom.
Select Password authentication and add your details.
You might also want to set a custom port (even if it is one of the defaults)
This solution is normally for an email provider that will not let you send outside of your ISP network, which most prevent. They also must support password authentication of the SMTP server.

Settings > iTunes and App Store > Apple ID > Sign Out > Sign In with the current Apple ID
Settings > iCloud > (Scroll Down) Delete Account > Sign In with the current Apple ID

As Templeton has indicated the location you buy from is the only relevant information for warranty

For a forgotten password: go to http://iforgot.apple.com and sign in with your iCloud login. A new password will be sent to your associated email address. If this doesn't work you will have to contact Support. For forgotten security questions log in at http://appleid.apple.com and click 'Password and Security' in the sidebar. You can set up your iCloud account on your iOS device under: "Settings > iCloud" and a other account for store purchases under "Settings > iTunes & App Stores". Unfortunately merging accounts is not possible but you could transfer all of your music manually via iTunes from your Mac or PC.

When did this start? What was the last thing you changed before problem started?
Have you tried sending the attachment from a different account. Have a friend send you an attachment. Get a gmail account.
Send the email with attachments to two different accounts one to your ipad and the other to a gmail account in a web browser and not on an iPad. See if you can read the ones to the gmail account.
You did reboot your ipad?

iOS devices cannnot be tracked or located with just the serial number. Unless you shared your Apple ID and password with anyone, then your account cannot be accessed at the iTunes Store.
Reporting a lost or stolen Apple product
To be on the safe side, change your Apple ID password ASAP > Support - Apple ID

Why won't Apple send the email so I can verify my apple id? I need to receive the verficiation email first, so that I can verify. Without verficiation, I can't purchase any app. I need the VZ Contact Transfer app, which is free, so I can install my verizon contacts.
