Sometimes I can't write diacritics like "é", "ã" in my e-mails. I write in Portuguese and use diacritics too much. My OS is Linux Ubuntu 11.04. Sometimes the problem occur, and sometimes it doesn't. This problem doesn't exist when I use other web browsers.
Are you using the compose key to construct those diacritics?

There is no specific option to do that, although you can redirect a message if it meets certain criteria. I believe if you wanted to bounce it back to the sender, then you would need an AppleScript to run. If you do some Google or MacUpdate searching you may find an existing script for this purpose.

Starting with Firefox 3, the system requirements changed to at least OS X 10.4
I am guessing that you are using Hotmail, Microsoft updated Hotmail and it now require at least Firefox 3. Unfortunately that means you will not be able to use Firefox to access Hotmail. I do not know of any browser that you can use to access Hotmail from your OS. You could try using an email program and set it up to access Hotmail using POP3.

When I use my IPhone 4S to view the Shaw Go Movie Central App when I am at home I only use WiFi which is automatic, I start watching a show and sometimes I will get a message like "you can not use your cellular for video playback" or something close to that. Then I received an email from Telus saying I had used my 3G instead of Wi-Fi using 75% of my data. How can this happen when I'm on Wi-Fi at home? If it switched to 3G for some reason I should have been disconnected and not just transferred to 3G network using up my data. What is the fix for this??
It doesn't have to be that complicated, Verizon iPhones come unlocked, just tell VZ you're going on Holiday/Traveling and suspend the service, no need to pay for service if you're not going to be using it. Pick up local SIM cards in the countries of your choosing, pop them in, re-activate iMessage and you're set!
I recommend getting a SIM card from the Three network in England, they have great EU roaming rates and free like-home roaming in Italy.
Set your phone's region to match the country you're in, it'll save from some headaches when calling local/international numbers.
To answer your questions,
1. If you choose not to have a local SIM card, it is good to keep your phone in Airplane mode to save battery.
2. Make sure the two iPhones have different names to reduce sync/restore issues.
3. If husband has an iPhone also, you can chat with iMessage/Facetime, just give him heads up about the new number you'll have. Otherwise, use Whatsapp if he's got an Android. You can activate Whatsapp with your American number or the international number if you choose to get a SIM in Europe.
Also, Get the MagicJack app and/or Google Hangouts, both of those apps provide you with free calling to the USA and Canada using any internet connection. Google Voice is another good way to SMS across the seas.

I use a jtextfield on a jdialog, and sometimes, but not always, i can't write on the jtextfield.
Is this a bug ?
I tried to setEditable(true) but the problem remains.

Videos on my iPad are running 2x. I have restored every way possible but still no change. The videos are noticeably faster in Safari and other apps like my Fox News app. Sometimes I can change the speed back to normal by "scrubbing" the video, but that is inconsistent. First, try a system reset. It cures many ills and it's quick, easy and harmless...
Hold down the on/off switch and the Home button simultaneously until the screen blacks out or you see the Apple logo. Ignore the "Slide to power off" text if it appears. You will not lose any apps, data, music, movies, settings, etc.
If the Reset doesn't work, try a Restore. Note that it's nowhere near as quick as a Reset. Connect via cable to the computer that you use for sync. From iTunes, select the iPad/iPod and then select the Summary tab. Follow directions for Restore and be sure to say "yes" to the backup. You will be warned that all data (apps, music, movies, etc.) will be erased but, as the Restore finishes, you will be asked if you wish the contents of the backup to be copied to the iPad/iPod. Again, say "yes." -

I’m unable to write/burn a CD-R (Verbatim) from a playlist after upgrading to iTunes 12.0.1.26. I get error 4000. Also, you mentioned that you have been successful burning a CD with the Windows OS. Make sure that you have closed all software programs that can access the CD burner so that there isn't a conflict for the drive. Sometimes chaning the burn speed from "maximum" to 8x can also help in this situation.

thank you in advance.A class and method implementation in source lines of code (sans comments and white space) should be as large as necessary, but no larger. Good design principals tend to drive towards smaller peices, but there is no one right size size limit.
Personally, I suspect any method that has over 50 lines of code as being too large and probably refactorable. I also suspect any single class (or for that matter .java file) with more than 50 methods or more than 2000 lines of code as being too large and probably refactorable. But sometimes we might really need a 500 line method or an 8000 line, 200 method class. Maybe its a performance thing. Maybe it is just that complicated and too hard to break up. I doubt it occurs frequently, but I won't be shocked when I see it.
Sometimes GUI classes (Swing and AWT) get really huge. Sometimes this is due to code generation, sometimes its just being sloppy. It pays to know the difference.
But the Java langauge sets reasonable (if not overly generous) limits on bytecode and constant pool sizes If the Java compiler begins to complain that something you have built is is too large, face it, it probably is. It's like running into scope nesting or nested name (class in a class in a class...) size limits - usually not a good sign for the structure of your code.

I have a new iMac (like this):
I am trying to connect the Drobo that I used to use with my Windows Computer. It has 4 drives @ 3TB each, and the whole drive is over half full, so I am not terribly interested in the cost that it would take to "back up" that whole disk pack. It took some shenanigans (reboots of both the drive and the computer; disconnections, and reconnections; fiddling around with MAC Disk Utility) to get it to show up in Finder at all. I still have issues with it unmounting and needing to remount it, but that's not my main issue.
THE REAL PROBLEM:
Though I can get the Drobo to show up in finder, and I can read from it, I can't write to it. Based on some earlier searching I tried this terminal command, which helped it to show up in finder, but didn't seem to affect it's being read-only:

Can anyone help me with a next step to make this drive read/writeable?Turns out that the Drobo needs to be plugged straight into computer. I had it via hub. Though it has worked for the past couple weeks in this configuration, the new update pushed it over the edge, I guess. Plugged in directly and working fine.

When I click on the plus sign by tabs, a burgundy blank screen appears over my window, blocking the tab groups except for the top portion. I can still see the URL address field and the tabs above but when I click on a tab, it comes up beneath the blank burgundy new screen on my window. I then have to open a new window but I have to start over on the tabs. I can't use the ones behind the burgundy screen. sometime when I click on the home icon the blank screen goes away, sometimes not.
Make sure that toolbars like the "Navigation Toolbar" and the "Bookmarks Toolbar" are visible: "View > Toolbars"

In crystal report version XI, can you write your query in sqlplus and then use the crystal report designer to build your report instead of using the GUI . I would like to be able to go database and show sql query and open that query and make changes directly there, is that possible on this version, if yes is there a setting somewhere? hi, from 2 days i can't write on my usb pen drive (Transcend JetFlash Flash 16gb with FAT32 partition)
if I do a manual mount in a console by root, I can easly a do cp command and copy files over.
if I open dolphin and mount by hal the drive, I can read but not copy files, and if I open a console and do a cp command, I have this error:
cp: cannot create regular file `/media/OZETA/ownage.png': Read-only file system
what the... is going on? i used my pen 4 or 5 days ago
on the contrary, i can mount my sd card (fat32) and my 2 usb disk (fat32 and ntfs) and i can write on them.

Something like:
dosfsck /dev/sdb1 <----replace with correct dev file!!
to see what the problem is and then
dosfsck -a /dev/sdb1
Of course, I would strongly encourage you to backup all data on the drive first.
