iPhone Local Storage "My iPhone" - How do you create this folder for use by the Notes app on a iPhone or iPad? If I want to keep some notes only on my device and not in a cloud environment associated with an e-mail account. I've seen reference to the "My iPhone" local storage put no mention on how you create this folder or access this folder within the Notes app. I realize storing information in a local storage like this provides no syncing between other iDevices but that is exactly what I'm looking for. I'm running iOS7.0.4 on a iPhone 5S, and a iPad Air. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
If you go to Settings > Notes > Default Account you will see "On My iPhone" as the default account and the only choice if you have not enabled syncing Notes in Settings >iCloud or Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars. If you have enabled syncing you can still select "On My iPhone" as the default account. When you are in the Notes app you won't see any accounts listed if you have not enabled syncing because they are all in the On My iPhone account and that is the only place possible. It is not a folder that you create.

Sometimes images ou other resources do not load in the page.
Hi.
Folks, I have a website made using WebCenter Spaces version 1xxx6 and Content Server (UCM). All the website´s content is into UCM (pages, css, js, images, etc.) and the space just manage this content and provide the template.
The problem:
Sometimes, one or another resource (css, image or js) do not load on page (but if I do a page refresh it works well). I see the Firebug console and the cause reported is 404 not found, but if I verify the address to the resource it exists and works.
Someone had this problem ?

I have my iTunes settings 'disable automatic syncing for iphones and ipods' unchecked, and in my iPod settings i have 'open iTunes when connected' option checked, and iTunes still does not load. How do I solve this?
If you have itunes open and then connect the nano, what happens?

Plenty of free space, music not loading. HELP...
The iPod has successfully loaded about 12-31 songs when I first used it. It still has 7.21 GB of Free Space left. I need information about why the rest of my music is not loading to the iPod Nano 3g. My music, in total, is about 1 GB, give or take a few KB.
"Attempting to copy to the disk " Ipod Name__" failed. The disk could not be read from or written to."Sounds like a damage library. Make a temporary, backup copy (if you don't already have a backup copy) of the library and apply the two fixes below in order as needed:
Fix #1
Launch iPhoto with the Command+Option keys held down and rebuild the library.
Select the options identified in the screenshot.
Fix #2
Using iPhoto Library Manager to Rebuild Your iPhoto Library
Download iPhoto Library Manager and launch.
Click on the Add Library button, navigate to your Home/Pictures folder and select your iPhoto Library folder.
Now that the library is listed in the left hand pane of iPLM, click on your library and go to the File ➙ Rebuild Library menu option
In the next window name the new library and select the location you want it to be placed.
Click on the Create button.
Note: This creates a new library based on the LIbraryData.xml file in the library and will recover Events, Albums, keywords, titles and comments but not books, calendars or slideshows. The original library will be left untouched for further attempts at fixing the problem or in case the rebuilt library is not satisfactory.

Can not load modules during boot with kernel 2.6.31
Every time i install kernel 2.6.31 (ever since it got into core), after reboot i receive message
FATAL: module ... not found
with every module in my rc.conf, or sometimes with this message:
FATAL: could not load /lib/modules/2.6.30-ARCH/modules.dep no such file or directory
Before those errors the boot script complaisn about hardware clock (right after the Arch Linux line):
Could not access the hardware clock via any known method.
After that I can still start X but my keyboard and mouse are completely dead. The console works fine, i just can not load any module per hand, some daemon can not be started - obviously.
Latest kernel 2.6.30 works fine. Is this a problem of 2.6.31 ?/lib/modules/2.6.30-ARCH/
That is very strange... it's not booting into .31
It's an install problem because that dir shouldn't be there after updating kernel26.
I know you said you installed from core, but was it a custom install? Did you change the PKGBUILD in anyway?
After installing .31, before rebooting do depmod 2.6.31-ARCH
Then do mkinitcpio -p kernel26
Post the output of the second one.

Secondary internal disk .. how do I keep it from loading?
I have a secondary internal disk in my G5 Power PC. It was my original disk that I use now as an emergency and spare. It still contains all of the software so it is bootable. It loads with every startup. I have to eject it, as it causes too much heat internally. My tech suggested "pulling the plug" but I'd rather not. I want to have it NOT load at startup, as besides the heat issue, it also starts loading fonts into Extensis, and when I eject the disk, Extensis winds up crashing the computer at some point. I now have to stop Extensis from loading, eject the hard drive, and then start Extensis up again. I know it sounds trivial, but it's a pain.
The location and condition and terms of use are strange and difficult.
There were WD 400GB drives that are/were not compatible with G5s (that size is no longer sold).
For some reason the restore was faulty and you have a problem with cross-linked files, alias, or links.
Under desks is only less of a problem that stuck inside one of those "computer cabinets" were they can't breath or get fresh ventilation.
I use a coffee table with all the cords underneath, and a surge protector connected to a UPS.
See if there is a utility to boost the fans or something, and Hardware Monitor to alert when memory, cpu, disk drive, gets to a set threshold, or be paranoid with data and system. -

Logic froze while I was working on something so I forced quit. Now every time I open LOGIC a message pops up that says:
"Error reading/writing file
“com.apple.logic.pro.cs”:
Logical end-of-file reached during read operation."
The only button option is cancel so I press it and another message appears that says:
"The Preferences are not loaded completely.
Do not save them, as you would overwrite the Preferences file with incomplete data."
Then when i close logic a box appears saying:
"The Preferences are not loaded completely.
Save them to "com.apple.logic.pro.cs" anyway?"
There are 3 button options to press; ok, cancel or dont save.
I press "don’t save" cuz I don't want to ruin anything.
I found a discussion located here: https://discussions.apple.com/message/9564253#9564253 that says if I delete the file "com.apple.logic.pro.cs" it will resolve the problem. If I do this will I loose or mess anything up at all, automation, saved channel strips customizations, saved effects, synth, or ultrabeat customizations etc? Or especially will I loose any work I've done? I have hundreds pieces of music files I've created. I'm scared to mess anything up with all the hours and months of work I've done. Is there anyway to fix this without loosing anything? I'm using Logic Pro 8.
Thank youYou can safely delete this file - its the preference file for control surface settings - you haven't said whether you're actually using a control surface or not, if so, you will have to set it up again. A new file will be created when you fire Logic up again, but of course it will contain default settings. If you have a complicated control surface setup, remember to keep a backup copy somewhere in case any future problems arise.
Other than that, you really have nothing to be scared about - hopefully your problem is as simple as that and there isn't an underlying problem (a corrupt hard drive, for example). You seem concerned about losing work, so I guess you want to think about backing that up on a regular basis too. If you're saving your projects to your system drive, do get an external one for this. And also check that you have plent of free space on your system drive - you need to keep about a quarter or third of it free for your OS and programs to run properly (some temporarily stored files can be quite large). -

This is an example of how you can select the exact content that you want to sync to your device. You do not have to sync the entire iTunes library. You can pick and choose the music, apps, books and so on that you want to sync. This is using music as an example.
Connect the iPad to the PC and launch iTunes.
Click on the iPad name on the left side under devices.
Click on the Music Tab on the right.
Click on only the albums or playlists that you want to sync.
Click on the Sync Music Heading.
Click on Apply in the lower right corner of iTunes
You can do this with apps, books, movies .... Whatever .... You have the freedom to sync whatever you want. -
I loaded music on my nano with my old laptop. now using a new laptop and want to load music on my nano but it wants to delete all song. How can I load new music frmo new laptop onto my nano and keep existing songs?
Import the music on the external HD into iTunes. If you don't want iTunes to make a new copy of each track that is stored in your iTunes Media folder on your PC's internal HD, make sure the Copy files to iTunes Media folder when adding to library option is NOT ticked from under the Advanced tab of iTunes Preferences. Just remember that if you go this route, you'll always need to have your external HD plugged in before you start up iTunes.

I'm just guessing at this point, but I suspect that you have installed a midi driver on your computer for some external device, and, since GarageBand's midi capabilities are limited in some ways, chances are your audio/midi driver is asking GarageBand to do something more than it's made to do, causing core audio's midi function to crash.
If that's the case, you might want to try adjusting your midi device's driver settings, or uninstalling your midi device's driver, and then see if GarageBand starts up normally without it. -
